NOBL is the real deal. Awesome company. Awesome warranty.
Dude we literally had a multi-email convo about which graphics setup would go good with the bike,
gotta love it
SPANKIN' NEW
👏
Absolutely correct. Who cares about performance. Aesthetics is king.
Found you after watching some of your recent videos and I’m going down the list of your videos, you make great content, my family is Norwegian and your humor is nostalgic for me
Even though it worries me you're watching my older videos (many good ideas, poorly executed 😂)
It's really nice to hear bud, thanks for that, and thank you Norway for creating the Norsemen tv series.
I lost it when you broke out into Agnus Dei 😂
Well I did feel the lord's presence at the time :O
Like your videos. like your bike. like NOBL. Love your sense of humor. I'm not so sure anyone needs $1400 wheels
You can't put a price tag on increased aesthetic performance, Chris!
my custom tyee is on its way! im so excited for when it ships.
woooh Nice man, is it the new 23 model? :o
ONYX FTW, NOW THE MOANS AND FILLING OF THE PANTS WILL BE HEARD IN GREAT DETAIL
Utmost crisp detail! 🙌
I have the 37’s on Onyx classic as well. Love them.
I brought the bike to the PNW yesterday for the first ride, mother of God this is a new bike now... Think I'll upload a bit of the ride from there, didn't record much but a lil' bit
YES ONYX ABSOLUTELY
RIGHT! RIIIIIIIGHT!
very nice!
Why thank you mr Logan!
Dude that bike is fucklng fire. It's also kinda funny that the video title is not clickbait lolol.
It works in a pinch! My man I did a thumbnail with a pair of big ooo'l biddies for the ultimate clickbait setup, but that didn't seem very realistic.
For me it would be Enve rims on either Chris King or I9 Hydras but I'd get some custom stickers made for the rims so they match (or contrast depending on your taste) the bike.
I'm currently running DT Swiss EX511s (I couldn't afford £/€/$1,200 per rim) with stealth/blackout decals on pink I9 Hydras (Slik Graphics for the win).
EX511's are great though! Sounds like a sweet looking set up too,
Yeah you're right Enve's are clean, but almost too clean yknow,
I find it funny on this build, this is actually pretty much the max level of custom you can get, every decal on the rim is custom chosen, but it just blends in so well it almost looks stock haha
shiz loooks creeaaamy
Gonna be catching so much strange from the old men at the trail head 💦
Absolute dream bike, mate! What's the total weight on the current setup?
Not sure actually! I got a scale somewhere around here I may get back to you on this
I would have gone we are one convergence... oh wait, I did. Bloody amazing rims. I9 hydra, super compliant, and they corner unbelievably precisely. No hate on nobl, they're just off the shelf Chinese rims, more a brand than a product... but thats just what I've heard, I've never actually ridden them so take it with a grain of salt.
Shots fired! 😳
Nawh all good, i was actually looking at WAO but can't ride em with cushcore (voids warranty) and I really love those inserts.
We'll see if what you've heard is right, if they shatter into oblivion first ride 😎
@frorideism I would say you don't need inserts on the wao with a heavy casing simply due to the compliance, but I genuinely believe you're probably pushing harder than I am since I don't race. From what I've heard of the nobl's, they're super stiff so, if that's true, the inserts are probably a great way to get the ride feel you're after. I'll be super curious to see how you get on with them after a bit more time.
@@casestudymtb Yeah can't fault em the waos seem solid and decent price tag too,
I felt pretty safe going with Nobl did a bit of research too and looked around what kind of riders use em.
Next riding vid will probably be from the PNW! ☺
Liam @ NOBL here - love that you put this video out dude, will for sure check them both out later!
Just wanted to clarify that our rims are definitely not off the shelf Chinese rims or remotely similar - we own our own manufacturing facility and all rim molds, no other brand has access to them and they're entirely our own design. That being said, WR1 also make a fantastic product if you're after something laid close to home!
Happy to answer any questions anyone may have about the brand - just stoked to be able to offer some of the best and most customizable wheels in the game! Give them a try you will not be dissapointed!
I tried real hard to come up with a sarcastic comment. So take this instead: that is a real nice bike! It must be nice to not be woken up by a thief coasting away on your bike!
Not all days can be sarcastic! 🥸
Thanks bud,
Yeah will enjoy having it stolen without me noticing 🙏
i wish i could afford a pair of svindyra rims
Actually it's all a prioriteringsfråga and wether du är redo att sleep on a kartonglåda for a while
@@Frorideism yes i will have a pratstund with the sambo about it, thank you
Im gonna sell my kidneys now for a dh bike
Oh you got Kidneys left?
