those are solid pine😂 id know, used to make them and i was a woodworker for over a decade, knowing wood was my job... pine is not hard to break, especially when it starts cracking from use, which you cant really check for with the paint, youd basically either have to remove the paint periodically and redo it, or do impact testing. still impressive, but i can guarantee you it was already cracked beforehand
