    Finally found an insightful channel about marketing case studies that is not clickbait or poorly-researched. I can already see your channel further growing in the near future. Keep the great content coming!

    Wow I like how Samsung listened to their community in the bixby scenario when it was not doing great. Samsung actually focused on other things that is not about bixby but other things that has a big impact to the device, I give it a round of applause for active listening.

    Glad to see you back, i have a different option than a brand. I am looking for how network effect is being taken advantage of by each and every known brand by penetrating in our environment. And how premium pricing can be used with network effect for any brand struggling in business.

    For me personally I think it is safe to say that samsung has lost its touch with social listening. They have eliminated the micro sd card slot and headphone jack which restrict the user experience eliminating some key points of difference from apple. They are following in the footsteps of apple in some of their key smartphone design choices, I don't really think that they will have much of a lead over apple in the smartphone space anymore for that reason.

    Samsung is so underrated. They have a literal army, but as they are part of the undervalued asian market, they are always underrated compared to their american competitors.

    • @SeoWoojin55
      @SeoWoojin55 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure where you got that info, but you have it all wrong. Samsung is nowhere near underrated. You might be forgetting that Samsung is the 5th most valuable brand in the world. The developing markets of Asia might be a bit underrated, but Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese markets are nowhere near underrated. They are better and more valued than their American counterparts when it comes to technology. Only 3 American companies are at the level of Samsung, LG, SK, Sony, and TSMC and they are Google, Apple, and Microsoft. Other than that, no other western companies have the same brand recall as the Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese brands I mentioned. You have to distinguish the rest of the Asian market from the Koreans, Japanese, and Taiwanese as they are literally carrying that market's majority to the point that they even have their own category apart from them. This is why you see Samsung and Apple classified as the highest tier in the smartphone price tiers and LG, Samsung, and Sony on the highest tiers when it comes to consumer appliances. Also, the thing why Samsung is so valuable is because it literally supplies components to all of its competitors (screens, cpus, memory chips, etc..). This is why Samsung is WAY larger than its competitors. They almost exclusively use their own parts and components in their own products while they are also a crucial supplier for almost all technology brands. An example of this is Samsung making 110 USD for every Apple phone sold due to OLED screens being sourced by Apple from Samsung. They might have been underrated in the early 80s and 90s, but Korean tech companies are nowhere near underrated now especially when the technology market also watches what moves the Korean giants will do on a regular basis.
