  • @davidkonevky7372

    Honestly their advertisements are so well done. They are mostly these feel good ads that give a sense of purity, bliss, joy, contentment, etc. If being an architect wasn't my dream job, I would be probably eager to work as a an advertisement director and use their techniques, because modern ads normally don't hit as hard as coca cola's

    • @itskindofemily
      @itskindofemily 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      lots of modern ads take on these same techniques, and a lot of companies use those techniques and more! Its especially prevalent in copywrite, where a company will have this product, they'll not write about the product itself (i.e. pen for writing) but they'll talk about the benefits (comfortable pen, long-lasting ink, smudge-free ink). Some other ads, especially the Australian Coles 'Together to Zero' ad (I'm a graphic design student in Australia lmao). Its literally an ad about how a supermarket is going to go green, but they put so much emotion into it. th-cam.com/video/j6A6ZMAJ_JA/w-d-xo.html
      I think bottom line, a lot of companies will want to carry forward the brand image, and Coca Cola has a very modern image of being youthful and happy, while other brands don't have this image, so they won't make the same things :)

    The outcome of product sales depends on the advertising approach, in my opinion. No matter how good a product is, it won't become well-known without employing the right strategies. On the other hand, even if a product doesn't have a significant difference from others, selecting effective strategies can be of great help. The case of Coca-Cola, as introduced in the video, is one example of successful marketing among numerous carbonated beverages. I have gained new knowledge.

    Very informative piece! It would be great to have an updated version of this. I feel since they stopped the 'connect' project, their marketing creativity has slumped, with one of their latest campaigns, 'break free', consisting of a painfully unimaginative story of an old guy that was revived by the Coke zero... Such a huge organisation should surely be able to attract the most creative of strategical marketers in order to create something better than that? Was the connect campaign a fortuatious discovery of personalised gold bars, and are the coca cola trucks running out of road?

    Side note: The name branded bottle of Coca Cola is an extensive and costly production operation. To keep the packaging line running, they deliberately not focused on multiple markets at once, but one particular market at the time. In this market they then saw a quick rise and fall of the products sold. After a steep decline, the quickly moved to another country to keep the packaging running. Thanks for the great content!
