Below are list of places where I usually eat when I am in Rome. (Some are in non-touristic areas, suggested by my Italian friends)

My wife and I recently visited Italy (including Rome) and saw many of the sites in your video. We loved Italy !
visit Villa Borghese, villa balestra, Villa panphilj, Villa glori and others (some famous parks) if you are a young guy go to Ponte Milvio or Campo de Fiori, visit some museum and an advice from a Roman guy (me) go to Arco degli Acetari, near campo de fiori (search on the internet)
That pastry with the cream and chocolate pieces on top still haunts my dreams since I went there in May ‘19. I wish I could remember what it was called.

Amazing video! Thank you! Just got back from Roma and still thinking of it and its cool people. Impossible to visit it all in a week unfortunately. The only thing Id like to add about eating and drinking is to ask the prices first, or you will get ripped off.

Thank you for the colection. I wish that some of these locations where explained. Why should I go to that fountain? What's so special about it? Most videos mention at least a little. Btw, pizza bianca is the bread that the mortadela is in, so if you simply ask for pizza bianca, you will get a square of bread.

No I’m from Rome and you don’t need a scarf (usually) in May, but before going to Rome check the forecast
As someone who is currently in Rome what pisses me off about these videos is that they neglect to mention the absolutely filthy streets, rubbish and feaces at times human, the hoards homeless and African/middle eastern immigrants which are are either pick pocketing tourists or scamming them.
Ancient Rome is beautiful but I have to say Rome has a fantastic marketing team.

No it doesn’t, otherwise we all could make a living just from tourism. Roma still attract tourists despite marketing, not thanks to marketing. I live near Roma, the filthy streets are something getting worse by the day, they didn’t were like that just 1 year or a few years ago. And it can drastically change from one day to another or one week to the next etc. Maybe when this TH-camr visited the town, it wasn’t as filthy as you find it when you visited. Same is true for immigrants.
By the way you sound really irritated, I hope you didn’t let the rage take out the pleasure to visit such a beautiful place like this, full of history and art. I hope we Italians find a way to give back to this and other beautiful place in the country the right dignity they deserve. This is not the finest hour in our history.

Thanks for taking time to reply. I will be honest I was irritated but it did not blind mind from the beauty or the authenticity of the real local Italians. I Have told everyone I know that Italians are extremely nice people and the ancient cities are amazing. I hope one day especially with the new government you can take your country back to its former glory.
Sounds like you need to move out of Rome. Try southern California. You would like it !

Because Italy is the nearest country to Africa but other countries such as Slovenia, Spain and in the last years France don’t accept migration so Italy is becoming full of immigrants

Are most Italian foods eaten standing up?
No Italian lunch and dinners are mainly eaten seated. Only breakfast I have seen people eat standing in the bar.
In Italy except McDonald we always eat seated, to take a coffee or a cappuccino if you seat at the table you will pay more, so people usually drink it standing up
Loved the video many interesting stuff . But please please get rid of the music , Hollywood nights?? In Rome totally ruined it for me . Shame but si bloody irritating even muting I still could not get it our my head .

Like most of the ideas, but Eataly, seriously? We have those here in the states and it's an overpriced tourist trap.

Well, I was specifically talking about Eataly, but yes living in Chicago I can pretty much get any authentic ethnic food I want.
