There’s 30 people who’ve died of heatstroke so far this year in Thailand who are no longer complaining about the heat. I don’t know if they were Thai’s or not, be careful out there, heatstroke is a thing. 😊
Well you're staying in a beachside location in air conditioned comfort with not much to do , some people in the provinces where it's hotter have to work in sweltering conditions and don't have the luxury of aircon , but as long as you're happy that's the main thing .
Having recently been in Pattaya until the 26th of April, with the heat and humidity I personally found it quite uncomfortable being out and about. The main reason I'd complain is because it is such much less enjoyable doing things like going for a long walk, going to the market, or even sitting in a bar if there isn't a fan directly on me. Just my personal experience.
I’m here now, it’s horrendous and not glorious- it restricts you in what you can or can’t do. I’ve been coming to Thailand for 19 yrs now and the hot weather is definitely the worst thing about coming here but the benefits outweigh the negatives fortunately. Another 7 days to go, frying tonight 🤪😆
I've been meaning to say this for a while. The nature of youtube is that everyone has an opinion, and that's fine. I am a traveller myself, and I don't do things quite like you do, but the main thing is you are out there living the experience. Just keep enjoying yourself.

My son is there now, l thought he'd struggle but he's fine, an ac room & it's survival. Gazillions of Brits go to the Costa Blanca or Costa del sol every year where 40c is not uncommon & they make it back alive.....
Recently spend the first three weeks of April in Thailand, and I knew what I was in for. Songkran in Chiang Mai was a reprieve and the real reason I traveled during this season was to combine Egypt before their Summer. Other than a sand storm in Aswan at 42C, it was pleasant. Not sure why people complain of what is expected. Nobody complaining they getting more THB with their home currency.
Steady, I'm retiring and trying to decide Chiang Mai or Hua Hin which I've been too many times. Haven't been to jomtien for many years but have seen lots of positive vids. Curious what your thoughts are for long term/retirement. Keep up the great content !

I just spent some time in Pattaya - I have to say that it was punishingly hot. I spent a LOT of time under those umbrellas on a lounger on the beach sleeping off the efforts of the nigh before. Problem is I'm a pavement pounder - I love walking around. Too hot for that. It was the baht bus every trip for me.
Eddy, it's been really warm today on Merseyside, and I hate it. Cannot stand the heat at all. And all these radio presenters who rave on and on about the "glorious warm weather" have been doing my head in! They don't seem to realise that there ARE people out here who cannot stand hot weather and much prefer the coolness of autumn.
But it's people that hate any remotely nice weather that need to accept that they are not the norm, we've had the wettest 18 months on record, it was 5.c and torrential rain last Sunday where I live, people were sick of putting the heating on. Tonight I actually got to sit in the sun in my garden and have a beer and be warm! I see the odd person on weather Facebook groups like you, it's healthy and absolutely normal to enjoy good weather! The vast majority of people don't think like you and you can't expect them to, you need to get a grip too because it wasn't an unbearable heatwave! It was a bit warm! If you really hate any nice weather and you hate anyone enjoying it , I suggest you confine yourself to your house til late autumn, close your curtains and keep your radio and TV off. I suffer winter deficiencies, by December I'm struggling to stay awake past 7pm, it's been a long struggle to get out of these deficiencies and the fatigue this year because we've not really had a spring just so much cloud and rain. It's not fair to begrudge people being normal and so glad thst the healthy weather has arrived! Another reason the weather turning nice is making people happy is that the endless rain is causing problems, where I live there are banks collapsing into rivers, our railway services are screwed because there's been a landslide on to the tracks. Not to mention that if we want to see any British produce on the shelves this year and stop some farmers going bust, the weather needed to improve.
Fair play Eddie , some people will moan about anything ...if you ever feel like that i'll send you a pic from my home ..that image of wind and rain will soon cure that for you.
In Cambodia we have regular power outages. You just deal with it. I use a damp sarong to cool down. Ice in beer is blasphemous Eddy. Only done it once in Cambodia at a wedding.
