In 2024 The UKs population increased by 455k to 69 million which is an increase of 455k from 2023, Of which 417k of the 455k total was from net migration meaning that only 38k of the total population increase in the UK was from birth rate within the uk. Nearly 90 percent of the yearly UK population increase is from migration.

I'm a legal migrant from the Netherlands, when the UK was stll in the EU. I've lived here for over 20 years and love everything about the English way of life. I agree with the British people when they say they don't recognize their country...immigration would be fine if it were controlled and genuine migrants adapted to the English way of life and not want the English to adapt to their religions and way of life. I also find it absolutely disgusting that British homeless citizens are left out in the cold (literally). Why are the illegal migrants given hotel accommodation, meals, money etc when the British homeless are ignored by the government!!

Most indigenous British are completely against this change. Society is full of tension because the indigenous culture is being supressed , you cant have your cultural celebrations and festivals because they "offend" people who have come here. This is wrong. The government should promote the indigenous culture above all others and it is the other who should be TOLERANT of our culture and if they are offended they should leave.

During British rule in India (1757-1947), British officials and settlers enjoyed various luxurious facilities that came at the expense of Indian society. These luxuries were a product of colonial exploitation and systematic oppression of the Indian people. Here's how the British benefitted and how it led to the oppression of Indians:
The British constructed lavish bungalows and residences, particularly in hill stations like Shimla, Ooty, and Darjeeling. These places were built as retreats from the heat and allowed British officials to live in comfort.
Exclusive clubs, like the Gymkhana Clubs, were only accessible to British elites. These clubs provided luxurious leisure facilities, including dining, entertainment, and sports.
The British elite had access to the wealth of Indian maharajas, princes, and merchants. They accumulated enormous wealth through high salaries, gifts, and control of resources.
They enjoyed the best of Indian spices, textiles, art, and culture, often appropriating or exporting these goods for personal gain.
The British built a vast railway network, not for the benefit of Indians, but to transport goods (especially raw materials like cotton and tea) to ports for export to Britain.
First-class railway compartments and carriages were reserved for the British and Indian elites loyal to the British. Indians were relegated to inferior conditions in lower classes.
British officials and their families had access to well-maintained hospitals, doctors, and European education, while healthcare and education for the majority of Indians were neglected.
British children attended elite schools and colleges, while educational opportunities for Indians were limited and focused on producing clerks for administrative jobs.
British officials had access to an army of Indian servants who managed their households, cooked, cleaned, and maintained their estates. This service was often underpaid and exploitative, with Indians in a servile role.
The British drained India’s wealth through high taxes, forced cultivation of cash crops like indigo and opium, and the export of raw materials without fair compensation. This led to impoverishment and widespread famine in India.
Industries such as textiles were systematically destroyed, causing unemployment. British manufactured goods were imported back to India, creating a one-sided economy where Indians had no choice but to buy British goods at high prices.
British rule was marked by racial discrimination. British officials considered themselves racially superior and kept Indians out of most high-ranking administrative and military positions.
Laws and regulations segregated Indians from many spaces, including clubs, residential areas, and even railway compartments. “DOGS AND INDIANS ARE NOT ALLOWED ” was a common sign seen in British clubs and establishments.

This is really disturbing, I am an immigrant I work full time and I work hard. I pay taxes and never ever claimed benefits even when I was homeless at some point. I have spent thousands and thousands on my education and double the amount of what a normal British citizen would. I am not complaining, I am a graduate, a full time worker and an immigrant. I have a good life and always will because I want to live and let people live. If immigrants get the support they need such as a transition program where they have to contribute to be able to stay and settle you will get workers, jobs filled and economic growth. It’s not the immigrants mistake that the government failed to build enough housing for the past 15 years when immigration was low. Government is paralysed and reform is needed in all aspects of government funding, government runnings and government policies. Benefit system must be reformed the less people you have on benefits the more workforce you will have the less taxpayers will have to pay. Taxes on the rise that’s true but it’s not only because of immigration, it’s because of government aid, debts, benefits, developments, scandals and many more things. If you want to reform one, reform all and see what happens. Don’t blame historic failures on people who wanted a better life for themselves. If you nourish immigrants they will become your biggest assets.

The United K l*oted an estimated $45 trillion from I*dia. Before the Br*tish arr*ved, India had one of the highest GDPs in the world. Colonial rule resulted in the d*aths, enslav*ment, ab*se, and expl*itation of millions, leaving deep societal scars. Most importantly, the Br*tish divided communities to maintain control, and the consequences of this division are still visible in society today.

      @blackcat-mp7kh 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@layzer-e7w here is some history lesson for you Economic Drain and Deindustrialization:
The British systematically deindustrialized India, crippling its economy by dismantling local industries, especially textiles, to promote British goods. This led to mass unemployment and economic dependency.
The export of Indian raw materials to British factories, paired with heavy import duties on Indian-made goods, led to a devastating decline in local businesses and artisans.
      Famines and Starvation:
During British rule, policies prioritized British profits over local needs, leading to frequent famines. Notable among these was the Bengal Famine of 1943, where approximately 3 million people died due to food shortages while food stocks were diverted to British war efforts.
Historical records show that during the colonial era, millions died in famines that were exacerbated by British policies, even as India was exporting large quantities of food.
      Exploitation of Natural Resources:
The British exploited India’s natural resources, like coal, tea, cotton, and opium, often at the cost of local environmental health and sustainability.
The export-driven focus on cash crops led to soil depletion and affected India’s food security, leaving long-lasting effects on the agricultural landscape.
      Social and Cultural Disruption:
The British imposed Western education and cultural norms, often dismissing and devaluing India's own rich traditions, languages, and systems of knowledge.
They encouraged a divisive mindset by promoting caste-based and religious segregation to ensure easier control, fueling mistrust and tensions that linger today.
      Infrastructural Development for Colonial Gain:
While railways, ports, and telegraphs were built, these projects primarily served British economic interests, facilitating the extraction and export of resources rather than improving local transportation for Indian citizens.
Infrastructure investments were largely funded by Indian taxpayers, resulting in a massive outflow of wealth without proportional benefit to the Indian population.
Imposition of British Legal and Education Systems:
The British imposed their own legal and administrative systems, which often disadvantaged local communities, and prioritized British interests over justice for locals.
The British education system introduced was largely designed to create a class of intermediaries loyal to British interests, limiting broader access to education and imposing Western ideals.
      Psychological Impact and Identity Loss:
The colonial narrative promoted the idea of British cultural and racial superiority, leading to a sense of inferiority among colonized people.
Many generations were made to feel ashamed of their own heritage, as British-imposed education discouraged pride in Indian culture, language, and history.
Legacy of Partition and Geopolitical Tensions:
The British exit from India was rushed and poorly managed, leading to the traumatic partition of 1947. This resulted in massive displacement, violence, and loss of life, sowing seeds of conflict between India and Pakistan that persist to this day.
      Displacement of Traditional Power Structures:
British policies eroded local governance and authority structures, such as village councils and princely states, that had traditionally maintained social order, leaving a power vacuum and weakened societal institutions.
      Human Rights Violations and Atrocities:
Brutal suppression of resistance movements included events like the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, where hundreds of peaceful protesters were killed, and other instances of violence that demonstrated a blatant disregard for Indian lives and dignity.

I'm American, but my ancestors came from England, I'm 70% English. I've always wanted to visit. It's such a shame what the far left leaders have done to this beautiful country and the rest of the West. Luckily, we here in America have Donald Trump, but we've had 10 million+ illegal immigrants enter our country in 4 years. If people don't wake up soon and demand change, the West will soon be gone forever.

That one guy close to the end talking about how immigration is just the best thing ever and they contribute more then the average UK citizen…pretty much nothing wrong about communities forming that should be able to govern themselves like they do in the Middle East..ugh that guy is so divorced from reality it was actually disgusting to hear

Yes and we cannot be compared to the U.S.A where their land mass is huge and the immigrants he is talking about pay $10,000 for a visa, have to be sponsored and prove they have a job to go to and no free ride. It isn't comparable to living in a small town where the minorities are equal to those born here. 50 years ago migrants came to work hard and wanted to be 'British' now they want to have the laws and culture from whence they came and just want an easy time.

Here in the US the Left promotes, and has enabled, completely open borders, no penalty for illegals, wants them to vote, gives them all of the benefits that you do. We all hate it as much as you, but as long as the Left is here in power there is nothing that we can do. They control education and the media just like in your country. Same playbook. And they get on TV and laugh about it. They tell the rest of us to, "Get used to it".
Don't get me wrong, it's not immigration that I'm against. It's illegal unchecked immigration. Also to make things worse here, we've actually surpassed you. We have decriminalized a lot of crimes here, so now the gangs of illegal immigrant thugs just rob and steal with impunity. No penalties. No jail time. No deportation. We just try to fund more social workers for them and give them more free stuff so that they're not so unhappy that they have to commit crime. Sound familiar? If it doesn't now, it will soon.
Vote out the Left while you still can.

Made my mind up at the queens funeral. Miles of queues of people waiting to see her coffin. Don’t think I saw one Muslim. And one immigrant even tried to attack the coffin. These people know nothing of the UK and the don’t want to. They just want to reap the benefits our great grandparents sacrificed their lives for.
