I love just hearing you two chat. It's like you're just sitting in the room with me. Just for giggles, I put you on 1.75 speed.... about 3 sentences in I felt a complete anxiety rush. I don't know how you do that on your audiobooks!!! Lol.
Love the knitting. My little guy talks non-stop... the way you described the energy leaves you is ACCURATE! hahah! I want to sew too. The fashion is too much for me these days. haha! I'm a jeans and tshirt girl. All the best, Kimberly
Just found you two. I’m a mother and grandmother who knits and loves books and movies. You guys inspire me to pick up a book. Haven’t been reading much lately. I feel like I’m sitting with two friends. Looking forward to binge watching your other videos. Perfect for Saturday morning knitting in my bed . Sue, you and I could be twins. I feel exactly the same as you about things you talked about.
Chels, my brother called me once when my nephew was around Charlie's age and said, "I just need to tell some to shut the eff up!!!" I told him I was glad to help. And he proceeded to yell at me, and then we were both in hysterics!! 😂😂😂 ah, the good old days!!
I’ve watched you talk about how early you go to bed and get up so early and I’m like, what?? I’ve worked night shift for 25 years and regularly stay up until 1 am ! It takes all types doesn’t it 😊 I’ve been enjoying your regular and chatty videos! Keep making and sharing ❤
There is a book called Hester by Albanese that you may want to consider, especially since you are going to Salem. It includes needlework and is a reimagining of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlett Letter. Enjoy, Kim
Hello there ladies! I love your podcast - it’s so cozy and fun! Sue - maybe I misheard the comment, but did you say “now that we are retired, I want to make Christmas gifts for special people”? Friend, you are really working hard……retired might not be the right word. That said, I wanted to tell you that in one of your podcasts before Christmas, you shared some ornaments you cross-stitched from Satsuma Street and Mill Hill. That podcast inspired me to make an ornament for each of my 5 grandchildren this year, and if there is time, I’ll make a Christmas pickle ornament for the grands to find hidden in our tree. That is something we did when I was young and I’d love them to experience finding the Christmas pickle- the gift they will receive for finding it is the ornament I made them and some sweet treats. Thanks both of you for sharing your wonderful relationship and the knitting, crocheting (and cross stitch) inspiration.
I just love you two. I so enjoy watching your weekly podcast. I have to share that I love the names of your chicken sock sets. My name is Shelley and my mom’s name was Ruthie. Thank you for putting a big smile on my face. Have a great weekend.
Loved the show! I’m a mom to three boys, 6, 8, and 11 and the need for silence is real! I no longer listen to anything when I’m in the car by myself because silence. I’m in my 40’s and I don’t think 20 years would be long enough. After working in a yarn shop and all the cross stitch stash I’ve acquired, I think I need like another 40.
I have a story for you… I took fashion design in university and a fellow student had a pin in her mouth and she sneezed and swallowed it. 😬. She had to have surgery to have it removed so it wouldn’t cause internal damage. So yes, it is bad!
So curious….who is Molly that you talk about watching? Love your podcast!!!! I have gone back and started from your very 1st ones. On number 6!! Hilarious and so good.
My daughter’s cat grabbed a piece of thread that was attached to a sewing needle and swallowed it. She raced him to the vet who immediately took him into surgery. All turned out well. The needle was still in his stomach and had not progressed to the intestines so the vet was able to manipulate it through the stomach wall, and the only incision was the one in the abdominal skin. Thank goodness no heart involvement.
Total agree with you on the Women. It was not my favorite Kristin Hannah, but it was typical Kristin Hannah. All of her books have a strong woman character as the protagonist. The only thing that will compare is reading another Kristin Hannah. The Nightingale, The Great Alone, Winter Garden, The Four Winds. All of these will captivate you and grab your heart.
Nothing swallowed will travel to the heart. The pulmonary system is separate from the digestive system. A needle can get stuck though; so it would need to be removed surgically. (Magnets would also need to be removed surgically, just FYI)
A swallowed needle would possibly get stuck in the digestive tract. If it were to pierce through the esophagus and float around it could potentially get into any organ nearby, including the heart. I would never sell my soul to the devil, not for anything. I want to spend eternity with my Lord. Love your projects!

Still in love with the color combo! I feel like I could listen to you and Sue all day, you guys are hilarious 🤣
Wonka is my favorite! I convinced my friend to make her advent Wonka themed and I can't wait! The Traitors, Alan Cumming ♥️
You two are pure joy😊
Have a blast at the festival!!!!
Loved spending part of my Saturday morning with you ladies! ❤

Caitlin Hunter is a very loose knitter, as am I. I use US #2 for DK socks, for example.
“I was cool for the night” that’s exactly how I feel as a 24 year old who leaves the house like once a month 😂

Oh my God I am reading horse and little women. I can't wait until I get to March

I have a great grandson who is moderately autistic and for 5 days a week I have no quite until his mother picks him up

Love watching you too
thank you!! 😊
it can perforate your stomach and end up in your heart - or anywhere else for that matter...
