I have a 2008 Audi A4 & im trying to change the ECM's I dont have a hex-pro like yours I have a Hex-Net from Ross -Tech but I dont have the wire harness connectors like you have to go into the back can you show me where the security prong is so we can just change that out . Thanks Pam
how do i read the pin number from the ecu or clustrer of a 2011 caddy caye 1.6 tdi so that i can pair a replacement ecu (caddy is uds donor is not) I have retro fitted a 2004 bkd 2.0 tdi, i have the pin code from the donor but not from the original caddy parts. If i pin the bkd cluster to the caddy dash wiring I can use the bkd immo key/ring to start the van and can even swap the clusters back over after starting allowing the caddy to restart if turned back on quickly (before the immo re activates)
Any idea if it's possible to copy/paste and swap 2022 Bosch ecu for an older 2021 ECU of the exact same model car? VW has some really hard to crack encryption on the new ECU's and I want to put in an older one so I can tune it
I hate AAAbecause they put jumper cables on my 2013 a6 crossed and fried my ecu. I'm trying to figure out how to repair it myself because AAA says they aren't responsible for damage they did to the car. I just want my car to work properly again.
James I had a similar situation when someone I stupidly decided to help jump start his car also fried my ECU.....what did you do? I got a mobile technician who deals with ECU come to my address removed my ECU and two weeks on I've not got it back nor seen him....
