    Got it all put together! My engineer husband went crazy because I insisted on doing it all on my own. The DYNAMO connection gave me fits for a few minutes. Mine came with nubbie tires and the front fender strut bolts rubbed on the tread. No adjustment changed that, so I bent them out to bow just a hair and all is well. Everything else went smoothly. Thank you for the tools, excellent packing job, incredible video and fabulous bike!

    I received my boxed 600. Having gotten it unboxed and removed all protective materials, I was so pleased to see up close what I have purchased. It is well designed, beautiful, well put together. It is a work of art. I am absolutely thrilled. Putting it together is taking a bit longer than desired as my 80 year old body moves slower than earlier in life. The installation videos are very well done and helpful. Although since I have yridden all my life, most of this is intuitive, especially the racks. I can't wait to ride.

    I'm very grateful for the video and just enjoyed my first short ride. I can't believe how I could simply ride up an extremely steep hill!
    I would like to mention that the video portion for the quick lock front hub was a challenge for me because mine came all apart. It took me several times to figure out the order of the items on the bolt.

    I would like you to elevate this concern to Dave Weiner. As explained about the concern of rain water leaking into the battery compartment from the internal cable routing holes then further into the motor compartment area.
    Does Priority have access to any other cable hole covers that are leakproof?

    One of my pedal bars keeps coming loose.. Thought I fixed it well by tightening the allen key screws but it just came loose again. Is there a video covering this repair?

    How do you find the Pinion gearbox serial number to register it?

    I had some difficulty with the front fender, as I could not seem to keep it dependably spaced to prevent the front tire from rubbing on it. If I put the front fender on with the clip in front of the fork (instead of behind it, as shown in the video) I had a much easier time adjusting its position to clear the wheel.

      Given how well engineered this bike with components is, I suggest that you either did not understand the instructions or what you were looking at. E.g, the slotted hole.😢

    is there a way to lower the gearing for hills? I have this bike and find the low gear a little, less than suitable for big hills 8+ grade and above.

    How do I take the rear fender off? There's a wire going straight into the gearbox that makes me think I have to disassemble it. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Dave says 40 psi minimum.
    What are the ideal tire pressure ranges for 1.) street/asphalt, and 2.) hard packed trails & gravel. Thanks.

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you wanted to minimize rolling resistance while still taking advantage of the benefits of 650B, we'd recommend 50. 40 is great for hard packed trails and gravel. Thanks!

    Just purchased one and the assembly is proving not to be as straightforward as portrayed here. They have the front brake line routed on the right side of the bike, which is opposite what they show here. There has either been a change, or it simply is not assembled correctly, not sure which.

      @@PriorityBicyclesNYC I just need to know if there have been any changes in the way the line is supposed to be routed since this video was made. If not, then I will have to take either the caliper or brake lever loose so that it can be routed as shown.

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GenerationXT hi there- no changes to it, and tweaking the caliper of shouldn't have to happen. Likely the orientation of the handlebar just needs to be spun or something like that. I am soo sad this bike color is so ugly looking, I really wanted to buy this bike but I would need something that looks nice if I am spending this much money. Really wish it was a nicer color like how nice the Brilliant Cooper looks and really wish it was a roadbike instead :(

  • @tusk6489
    @tusk6489 ปีที่แล้ว

    Big problem I have with this bike is it doesn't really serve a real purpose.
    For starters
    WHY is this bike a flat bar instead of a Roadbike with drop bar?
    WHY is this bike frame a MTB frame? when it should be a roadbike frame?
    WHY is the color of this bike so ugly?
    If I am spending this kind of money on a bike I want a cool looking bike like my Cannondale Super Six Evo with multi colored paint job with white decals and a sporty look.

    • @PriorityBicyclesNYC
      @PriorityBicyclesNYC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This bike is 100% purpose built. Have you seen Duzer ride it all over the world? Have you seen our friends riding Africa and Bolivia right now? It’s awesome for bike packing. Sounds like you are happy with your Super Six Evo! Maybe if you are looking to bike pack you’ll look into the 600x!

      @@PriorityBicyclesNYC Hi what I really want is a Roadbike with a pinion gearbox and some sporty colors, I been waiting years for the day Priority makes one and I shall continue to wait.
      My only issue with the 600x is it features a front suspension and its too upright for road riding. I commute 30 miles everyday to work
      I am super happy with my Brilliant Cooper and my Cannondale Super Six. But whenever I ride the cooper I am always reminded why roadbike geometry is soooo much more comfortable for long distance riding.
      The beauty of the Pinion gear box is the top end speed, I heard that it is even faster than the Alfine 11 speed and way more durable.
      I use my Cooper belt drive for rainy season in Trinidad and Tobago I shipped it from priority last month I am so happy with it and it looks so beautiful the green and white is the best looking color priority has ever made.
