Agree with Idaho Quadcopter. I have not purchased my first drone (gotta wait until after Jan. 1st). But, I have watched many, many other TH-cam tutorials and you're very thorough on what drone pilots need to know. I've had too many photog friends... fly them once and crash or have fly-offs.Thanks

I'm so pleased I watched this before my drone arrived, I'm a 71yr old and VERY inexperienced drone pilot and only flown a couple of cheap toy drones before. I thought I'd get something a little better while I still tread the daisies just waiting for my refurbished Mavic Mini to arrive thinking it would be like the toys until I saw how comprehensive the program is. Your excellent video has shown me how wrong I was by thinking my Mini was going to be like the others, I had no idea how much was in the program but now after watching this I at least know what I'm in for, very exciting, thanks so much.

I watched 3 beginner's guides to the Mini Ed, yours was the best. Nice pace, good detailed coverage, didn't skip steps or assume knowledge. Felt like somebody was there with you as you open the box to make sure you do everything right, including those awkward things like updating software etc... 👍🏻
First off, awesome video! Secondly, I thought I recognized the buildings in the city when you first took off. Then you opened up maps and I saw "Lake wheeler rd." and "Fuller st." Dude, you are flying in a park really close to where I used to live! I lived in the Raleigh area for over 15 years. Looks like you are at Dorothea Dix, or the dog park right next to it, it seems. So cool!

@@parry4now Have you ever flown a drown prior to this drone? A lot of users assume they can fly right away. If you are in Dartmouth you may be in a flight restrictions area like Shearwater flight zone. If you buy from Bestbuy and have issues drop into Dr drone on Baker drive. They can help with all your issues that are DJI related that is.
I m in India...stupendous effort n done so neatly. Have watched many many tutorials etc...but you really shine. Pure pleasure. You have covered ground level up and that's needed for the majority. Salute n good luck. Just wow.
Pro tip- For fixing cracks in plastic, use a product called weld on. It's usually a liquid or syrup paste that melts the plastic and bonds it back together like it came from the factory. It doesn't work with all plastic, but give it a try or research the type of plastic you have. I use it in my sign manufacturing business. It's pretty cool stuff!!! Good video BTW. This is my first non toy quad!

I have just ordered the Mavic Mini and are looking through all the TH-cam videos about it so as to learn as much as possible about how to fly it. Seen lots, but as someone who has never flown a drone before, yours is certainly the best tutorial so far. Clear with lots of good information, just want I need. There is a long wait for the next delivery into the U.K. but when mine arrives I certainly will be reviewing this video again to help me 'get off the ground' Thank you!
So when I bought my first mavic pro i had to look up how to get it to take off and you made it extremely easy! now i have the mini and thank god was able to figure this one out by my self but really cool to see your still doing videos! Cheers mate

So when I bought my first mavic pro i had to look up how to get it to take off and you made it extremely easy! now i have the mini and thank god was able to figure this one out by my self but really cool to see your still doing videos! Cheers mate

Great film. Have my Mavic Mini since nov. 8 this year. Done three flight. I didn't know about the possibility to alter the HOME point. Great.
