Something I learned that none of these guides tell you. If you live in America, call State Farm! Tell them you want to start a personal article policy on your drone. You provide them with proof of purchase, they get you a quote, which is $60 a YEAR for total coverage up the $3000, with $0 deductible. You pay your $60, you fly with peace of mind. If you total your drone, whether its your fault or not, you call them, they write you a check for the full amount, and you even get to keep the drone. I've only had it happen once, but not only did I get a check for $1799 and change, but I also sent the broken drone out to DJI, who as it turns out, were able to fully repair the drone for about $800. Now I have a drone I use when I feel like I may never see my drone again, and a brand new drone I use at all other times. The only caveat is that you can only use that policy twice. If you total 2 drones, they will charge you $60 again for a "new" policy.

I only started flying drones last January. So when I saw how the Skydio was so good at following the subject and also had a great obstacle avoidance, I wanted one. But it wasn't available anymore. So I looked at other drones trying to get the same characteristics, but none of them worked as well... until now. The DJI Mini 4 Pro has all those talents and much more. Thanks you DJI! Skydio... you had your chance.

I got a mini 3 and the first app that i stumbled across was the fake app. Luckily I am savvy enough to smell the BS immediately. I am sorry to those who compromised their info. Thanks for the video.
I love my Mini 4 Pro. My only complain is that Active Tracking for vehicles is pretty much useless, at least in Europe. I constantly lost behind the drone due to the 50 meters limit. So I ended up using Spotlight, which works better, but still has to throttle manually. I can understand it must follow regulations and stuff, but at least it should have a warning for reducing speed to catch up the vehicle or something like that. For walking, running or cycling it works wonderfully.

Great video thanks. Have a question on waypoints. When setting up your route how do you define what happens with your camera direction? Can you have it track while flying a waypoint route? If not, can you define where the camera is centered as it flys and what happens with the gimbal? Seems you should do a more detailed video on all this. Thanks.

An excellent guide for someone considering buying the DJI mini 4 pro drone. However, I have a couple of questions perhaps you can answer: 1. Will the 3 battery holder/charger charge the batteries from a power bank (eg Anker power bank)? 2. What format is the video file created in, and what software is required to edit video footage taken with the drone?

Fantastic review but for now, I still love my mini pro 3. Good to see DJI added the antenna and under carriage light.
