Wire it all correctly
A throttle body spacer with ports so you can add the lines easy
And a tune
That’s it. I’m also going to recommend getting a 5 gallon tank instead of the small one they provide
I can’t find the synapse BOV for bk2. Is there any links? I can only find it for bk1 lol
Dammit, so a 2012 won't cut it.
What do you think on the turbo kit btr offers for the Garret 3071r? Would it be worth going for that or the stuffed turbo? (For the bk2 8speed auto)
If you’re a bk2, your best bet is stuffed turbo. That turbo can take you to 440 whp.
The 3071 I would recommend for the bk1 2.0s. Or simply get a arashi 3071 turbo it’s plug and play. No sense in getting a manifold since the stock one is perfectly fine for smaller turbos
@@ProdigePerformance sounds good, thanks man.
Does anyone know if you can put the bumper back on with the sideways guru intercooler?
Fits like oem basically just in the front
Yes bumper will clear it
So if I’m going to be making that much power, what should I upgrade suspension/frame wise?
Depends on what you want, for a nice daily if you got some extra cash get a set of coilovers and possibly better sway bar. Won't take alot but if your building it for huge power id say it's a must.
What turbo you guys recommend for bk1 2012?
Depends on your power goal
If you install a fmic on a bk2 do you need to get it tuned?
You do not.
If I don’t go e85 and just get a custom tune all I need is the custom ecu ?
Stock ecu*
This will not pass emissions because of the o2 housing, right? Specifically in IL
Correct.
@@ProdigePerformance any way to make around 300 whp bk1 while still passing emissions? I.e. while still using stock o2 housing or some kind of tuning option?
@@vladp089 by using a stuffed turbo you can get close to it. What sets you back a lot is having a bk1 auto and stock o2 housing
@@ProdigePerformance thanks for taking the time to answer
Is the big mishimoto intercooler shit as well?
No, the bigger fmic by mishi flows good for 400-450
It’s practically as efficient as the bk2 intercooler.
The smaller core is what you need to stay away from. You’ll just waste money
how much whp can i get with a aftermarket turbo on a bk1 auto without e85(not stuffed)?
Can’t ball park it if you don’t give me specs
@ProdigePerformance can I get 300 whp with a Arashi on the automatic no e85?
Like just upgraded injectors, fuel pump, intercooler
@@Salsa-Lizano yes you can, I would get a arashi ar3 and paid it with 1000cc injectors
@ProdigePerformance ohh wow thanks
I didn't know these cars get somewhat pushed I thought the Bk1 2.0t was terrible
Are these cars any good reliable
If I can relate it to another platform, think of it as the eco boost mustangs and RS STs
They’re reliable if you treat them right but if you mess around you’ll run into issues
I made 245whp on a stock setup on that garbage mishimoto inter cooler with just a go tune from Alphaspeed
Assuming bk2
I gotta question 🙋♂️ …would u know how much power if i wanna keep the stock fuel system (93 pump) instead of doing 85 and meth ? Thanks in advance
please respond to this!!!!
Is the isr FMIC good?
So I can’t put a stuffed turbo on a bk1 ?
You can. But you’re better off going with a arashi ar3 since it performs better than a stuffed turbo unless you don’t mind spending $200 less and staying under 350 wheel then by all means get a stuffed turbo
Remember this is for the best performance mods
