Me and a buddy just built our first one,,love joy connected, 4 bolts 2 pieces of 10 gauge plate,,simple wimple,,it works,,faster than a trolling motor and air cooled,,it will get you to where you want to go,,we had a Johnson 9.9 leg and a brigs 7.5 hp, I wished I had thought of it years ago, Ain’t no telln how many trashed outboards I have run across over the years,with a bad motor,that I could have gotten for free,, Is sick how easy it is to build one
@@clayton203 sweet I finally finished mine I used a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower engine air cooled but I ran a copper tube through the fins in the head for the water to make it semi water cooled but it works

Probably meant homemade boat, but was in the habit of saying motor too. Sorry and I do have several video on homemade motor. Hope you have checked them out too.
They actually had to talk to me for about 10 minutes because I had the wrong numbers on my boat. The DMV told me the wrong numbers to paint. The whole conversation should have taken 30 seconds, but instead it took about 10 minutes. Thanks for watching.
