    My adorable teacher, really I have come to thank you indeed you are a good teacher. For the first I was able to make my fondant neatly without tearing up or struggling. With it.     Have come to also testify... Your recipe is the best ma'am, have tried a lot of recipes bt at the end its either the fondant is breaking or sweating, i dont accept cake work during raining season bcos am alsways scared, bt lasr week Saturday i use this ur recipe it was woow no sweating or breaking nd its stretchy.     Am I to keep adding the cmc as the kg of sugar increases? E.g 2kg=2tsp, 3kg=3tsp or.....cos our harmattan seasons here are very severe? Thanks

      When you add egg white it's no more Fondant, it's now Gum paste. It will surely melt during raining season... Fondant doesn't need egg white..

    Please ma,what if I boil hot water and add 1/3 cup of it to the gelatin instead of using cold and later placing it on hot water for it to dissolve, will it affect the fondat?

    How many Tbs is 1/3cup of glucose please

      The volume of One cup varies from state to state. But the cup she used is similar to mine which uses the Australian/New Zealand standard in which one cup is 250ml (half of our 50cl sachet water in Nigeria). One third cup therefore will be 250ml÷3= 83ml approximately
      One tbsp is 15ml. So one third cup should be 83÷15 = 5.5 approximately ie 5½ tbsp
      For more accurate measurements I suggest you use measuring spoons rather than the spoons for eating at home.

      If you can’t divide the ingredients, do 1 kg and save the rest in an air tight container
