You have to let it rest for some hours then you add your color, but the truth is egg white fondant don't need more or excess color, and after coloring still let it rest till the next day before using

No not all, c.m.c helps bind your fondant together and give it a stretchy base and helps it reduce the chances of sweating, so corn flour will not give you all this, it is just for fondant dusting that all.

Glucose adds enough liquid to your fondant and also makes it stretchy and dense.
