  • Hi, my name is Matt Stigler and I am a pro footballer (or soccer) performance coach.
The whole goal of this channel is to bring you guys pro footballer level athletic performance advice that I couldn't afford and didn't have access to as a kid completely for free.
If you want to maximize your potential on the pitch, by becoming as fast, fit, powerful, explosive, strong, and injury free as you can be, then I would love to help you get there!
By the end of this video you will know everything you need to know to create the perfect conditioning routine for football, so you can develop pro footballer level fitness.

Matt I must say I enjoy your TH-cam channel a lot more than the things I’ve seen on instagram. The last part of the video I enjoyed a lot.

Is a slow jog always bad?
The 80/20 school that runners more or less practice should have some benefit

Thanks for the video, but I don’t understand if we should do 800 meters and reduces meters and rest time trough time or we should do 90 seconds in and off and we reduce time to 30 seconds rest and 30 seconds running. And when should we add cut into our conditioning?

when you talk about the work to rest ratios like 90/90 what about the amount of sets per session?

It will be different for everyone. See what your max currently is and just try and work up from there!

So if I run 800 meters at 3 minutes for 3 sets I add 10 second per 800 and another day I run 800 meters for 3 sets but go down by 10 seconds from 3 minutes and try beat it by 10 seconds every time per set . Is that what you meant by it targets different oxygen levels and if not is it something I should incorporate into my stamina routine

Yeah I would say it is a good idea to do hard and soft starts throughout the week in general. But if you are way worse at one or the other then you should prioritize that one

Nice content. Just a little more audio volume will be so helpful.
