Great video, unrelated question but could you make a video targeting groin strengthening (i fried mine on a tackle and its been 2 yrs being unable to generate sufficient force on that leg while attempting shots and longer passes)
I want to buy ur programs but I'm kind of confused, if I buy the 30 day speed program do I also get conditioning and plyos? If so how do I build an off season gym play to gain size and muscle
Yes you do, and that is up to you. You get the flexibility to add them in to your current routine however you want. If you want muscle though you’ll need the complete footballer performance program or to do your own resistance training
Hey matt could i use push up drop catch as a beginner variation for a depth plyo push up with two objects on my side to progress myself from a easier excercises to harder one is it possoble ?
@@YourFootballTrainer another question could i when i first start doing proper core excercises lets say lateral flexion, rotstion, flexion, extension like could i start out with a accumilation phase where iam builing the weight with higher reps and than after iam done with this phase do them with heavy at slow speeds and than progress it to light weight at fast speeds ?
Good video thanks for sharing. A couple questions: 1) I stopped doing back squats and deadlifts, i think my max atm is 70kg squat and my dead is 90k, is that enough strength base to go and do plyos? 2) Do you still play football regularly?
excercises : Lateral Bounds - 1:30| Broad Jump Redirects - 3:00 | Tuck Jumps - 7:00 | Jumping Lunge Switch - 8:00|

How would you do the sets and reps for these plyos?
Love it and thank you!
the audio is only playing on one side of my headphones, just so you know (its not my issue)
For me I can only hear music, Ha
Thank you for letting me know man
How many reps/sets, or should it be done for time? 30s on 30s off?

How many times per week
1-2 depending on what else you’re doing during the week

100%. I think that’s the best way to go

@@levixx1750 yes that is perfect! I usually go from accumulation to intensification
@@YourFootballTrainer what does intesification mean?does it cover the part that i mentioned in my comment?
@@levixx1750 it means increasing intensity (usually weight used or speed) instead of increasing volume (usually reps or sets)

Yes, there is no strength requirement for plyos. That is a myth. And I do! Just not competitively. Much more focused on work at the moment
what about reps and sets ?
Sets and reps will be different for everyone and should always be changing to continue to make progress
@@YourFootballTrainer so let's say that I am a beginner in plyos how should I start ?
@@ΧρηστοςΚυπαρισσης-ε7ο 2-3 sets 10-15ish reps each is my best bet for you depending on what else you are doing
No hate Matt but why don't you just show the exercises with the number of sets and reps instead of doing all that talking?
