You’re helping me a lot! I’m also using Duolingo for help as well and when you were making examples with sentences I would understand most the words. Grazie!

Not exactly, Rob, although it's commonly translated and used that way. Technically speaking, "vorrei" is the conditional form of the verb "volere", which means "to want". So "vorrei" literally means "I would want": The literal translation to "I would LIKE" needs the verb "to like", which in Italian is "piacere", so "mi piacerebbe" is the correct translation for that. But we use both "vorrei" and "mi piacerebbe" with that meaning.
Hello! Ms. Stella, I have left comments in a few Italian Teaching Channels ; in hopes of finding an answer to a question, what would ... or how would the translation for the phrase : " Loud Voice" be in English. Ms. Stella, this IS NOT a JOKE, I am really trying to find a true Italian to English translation of the phrase "Loud Voice" Thank You, Ms. Stella, the HELP! You send will be APPRECIATED.

Great videos, thanks Valentina. Surely, Vorrei tanslates to 'I would LIKE' in english, not 'want'?
