Nice vid, very informative. I'll be using this during my install. You dont need to oil that UNI filter by the way. Thats only for dirt bikes and stuff. If you plan on using this mainly on the street then no oil needed.
I know you mentioned it but I couldn't find it when I went back to reference the diameter of the stock carb so you went from the stock to a 24 mm Do You Remember what the stock carburetor was? Was it a 20mm? I'm just trying to figure out how much of a sized jump you made how many millimeters. Thx
informative video, thanks. I have a 2012 skyteam 125 ct70 clone, I've heard very good things about the nibbi carbs. but I haven't been able to find this carb with the bolt-on flange anywhere. Could you please provide a link to where you purchased this from. thanks, I appreciate it
I know it seems silly but I was always told when it comes to fuel filters if it's gravity fed you want a screen not a paper filter because the paper filter restricts flow of fuel. Just something to think about if you feel like the bike is running lean
Just wondering how it rides I have only rode one Chinese bike and it vibrated so hard I thought it was going to break but it was a well used and abused thing
I only have one fuel line going to the carb even when it was stock. There's a breather hose for the crankcase that attached to the air filter. I just ziptied it up. Make sure you don't kink it the case needs to breath. Let me know if you figure out a jet configuration on this carburetor. I played with it for about an hour one day and never got back to it.
Did you ever end up getting the jetting dialed in on this carb? If so what worked for you? I’m running a VM22 26mm carb right now and it’s been a hassle to get right. Might switch to this setup eventually
FYI I had issues when I had my fuel filter mounted like yours. After riding for 20+ minutes the bike would start to want to stall and wouldn’t run right until I let it sit for a while. Once I moved my filter to before the peacock the issue went away.
The original trail 70 has petcock on carb these bikes are setup wrong fuel doesn't go up hill well. my bike has been nothing but trouble fuel just t Drips to carb. Got proper carb on Amazon for 20.00. Installed today no more upward fuel lines .let gravity do its thing . Don't need to pull tank .the Chinese should know about gravity ? E

Enjoyed the vid and your front fender vid. Did you get the carb sorted out? What jets did you settle on? What elevation do you ride? Thanks!
Thanks! Unfortunately I haven't had time to get focused on the carburetor. I really need to soon
Great video, do you know the size of the wheels? i have 2.5 /10 but not sure if those 120/90 will fit on mine.
Unfortunately I don't remember and I sold the bike some time back. There is an ice bear group on Facebook that would know.
@@bbeicker2 thanks for the answer!

I don't remember. I put the factory one back on it. I could never get the aftermarket dialed in right.

Got it on Amazon. Search nibbi pe24fl
Awesome video a tuning video would be awesome
I sold the bike sorry

I started using the Briggs fuel filters they are red and they just have a screen in them
I run paper on larger motors, screen on small ones.

I've only put around 25 miles and it rides good to me. It doesn't vibrate any more than my yamaha tw200
@@bbeicker2 wow that thing is still brand new. I hope u get to put a few miles on it this summer.
@@ronsmith7262 I hope so too!!
Just got the same carb for my ice bear champion. It only has one fuel line input. What did you do with the secondary or reserve fuel line?

I was wondering if someone of my height (5'11) can be able too ride somewhat comfortably on it?
There are folks over 6 feet riding them on the Facebook page. I'm 5.9.
@@bbeicker2 Ah ah okay then, thank you for input
The seat is big enough for tall people to scoot back on it so their legs don't get hit by the handlebars
It’s comfortable as soon as you start rolling…that’s life
How much torque should you give it? All of it 😄
Lol exactly. Send it, but don't overly send it ha ha ha
It didn’t come with bolts? Mine did
Nope. Ened up taking it back of and putting stock on. Never ran as good as the stock one.
Dope video man! Did you end up getting that carb dialed in? How do you like the new carb? Can you feel the difference? Dope video man!
Thanks!!
I played with different jets the other day, but still not where I want it. I have plans to mess with it more this weekend...

Thanks for the tip! I was a little worried, since it is gravity fed. I will definitely have to get it moved! Thanks for watching!
Tap and die set. Cut some threads in carb flange.
Is your motor a lifan or a loncin. i hear they come with both ones .
Pretty sure its a loncin. Beginning of engine serial number is LC.
Is that stock intake pipe?
Yes sir
What did you do with the crank case vent hose?
Zip tied it up out of the way
What is the name you register your bike in your title
