      pixel zoom looks better because of better sensor and better sofware, look at huawei, they went from 10x optical to 3.5x and their zoom photos at 10x still look better than samsung's , quality over quantity

      @Nate Dog I know, but Samsung still hasn't figured it out after 8 months of updates. Pictures with animals or young kids? Pretty mediocre on the S21 Ultra. Burst mode is the only kind of workaround.

    • @Mywifesays

      @Nate Dog Cool. The S21 Ultra does poorly with only slight motion. I haven't had a camera phone struggle as badly as it does in those situations in quite a while. Unfortunately with small kids and pets, that's the situation you're usually in. That's all I was getting at.

      @jūn yeah man. The Pixel phones still take great shots and one thing I enjoy on pixel is that extremely low shutter lag when taking shots. It does all the processing afterwards so it doesn't feel like I am missing out on an opportunity for a good pic. The portraits to me will be superior on Pixel but man the gap has closed or close to it. I am excited to see what Google does next time as this is the right step it needs to take.
      For it's A-line, it should probably stay in the 400 or lower price tag and be no bigger than 6 inches for those who want a smaller device. What do you think?

    You did a camera review, and you did a fairly good job. However, when you ended the video you summarized and gave your opinion about which phone one should purchase. First, the price difference is more like $100.00. Second, you didn't mention the abundance of customization & features the S21 Ultra has that the 6 Pro lacks. Third, you didn't mention the superior display of the S21 Ultra. The gas station night mode sign looks better in pixel. The Sunoco sign is a little over exposed, but look at the numbers and lettering, and the Kerosene part. @Erick-ue6fh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JudahMaccabee_ no. I won't lie and say that they are always better. Generally I prefer the Samsung night shots plus they are faster. I would actually say unless I prop the pixel to be completely still, then it's in favor of the s21 55-60% of the time. Well light night pictures are 50/50 as far as aesthetics, but the pixel tends to have more detail about 85 to 90% of the time and when it comes to day shots from the main camera, no zoom then I would say that's rock solid in favor the pixel. The day one update fixed a lot of the issues that the pre-release pixel was being reported to have in the early reviews. This isn't a knock on Samsung at all. They still make the best selling phones in the world for a reason.

  • @jeromegold3216
    @jeromegold3216 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great comparison. They both have there strengths and there weaknesses. On the front camera of the pixel 6pro it made you look to yellow, we're as the s21 ultra looked more realistic. Can you do a video on what pixel can and can't do compared to the s21 ultra. Like does the pixel 6pro have dex? How's multitasking on both. And so on. Oh does the pixel have anything like good lock, to major customize your phone? Thank you.

    Pixel software always has the same problem when it comes to post photo fixes. The photo looks amazing at face value, until you start looking at any specific area, or even zooming the photo in just 5-10%. Edge blue, hue issues, and forget any photo where there's a light source in your shot. Google dropped the ball. Personally, I'm happy that the Pixel isn't a clear winner vs Samsung or Apple, because I'm already plagued by the curved screens on my phones, I don't want to switch to another phone with a curve lol. I've considered switching to Apple just to get away from it, but not until Apple does something about that hideous notch!

    That zoom seals the deal for...they're both great phones but man that macro and zoom not to mention the mic during videos are worth that prize tag. That blurring effect especially with people in motion doesn't always turn out right, maybe Google can tweak that with software. Like if you have your subject running in a crowd it gets confused and blurs part of your subject too. The Galaxy may be pricier but it also comes with pen support.....there is a reason for the higher price tag, Lastly that night mode....I always had a problem with the Pixel making ti seem like daytime. BTW who on earth wants to take pics in pitch black darkness....I don't get it.

    • @RennieAsh
      @RennieAsh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Taking photos in super low light is great. You can easily edit a bright night mode photo to become darker. Not always so if it's already dark.
      Samsung isn't the strongest in low light.
      The Pixel mic sounded a little better to me tbh (louder doesn't always mean better)
      Lack of macro ,less ultrawide and less zoom is not in Pixel's favour. They also need to work a little on processing as I believe they can do much better than this.
      Samsung has good flexibility
