Huge Pixel fan here,and was a huge Nexus fan. But I'm very happy with my S21U,such a beast of a phone.
I actually traded in my s21 ultra to get the pixel 6 pro I'm using now and I'm happy I did. It feels smoother and pictures are much better. I do miss the zoom on the ultra though.
I resisted that temptation,it was difficult though,being a huge Pixel fan. Gonna wait it out for the S22U
How is the os? Alot of people complaining that the poxel is full of bugs.
If I had a 21 ultra I would've never looked at pixel😶😶. I'm stuck with my P6P

I’d like to see this revisited when (if) Google updates their camera software.
Samsung has 11 months worth of updates.
It means they have older hardware as well. You see how that works
For those who are questioning witch has the better camera results... i can answer that.. i've had the pixel 6 pro, bought it because the rating on dxomark... since i wanted to upgrade from my p30 pro to an android phone with better camera... after holding these 2 (p30 pro and pixel 6 pro ) some pictures from the p30 looked way better than on the pixel.. ( not video, since my main interest was photography )... Besides the x4 zoom on pixel is really good, good details and all.. but.. that's it... and don't give me that escuse that they are working with updates and bla bla bla..
Regarding the S21 ultra, had a friend that had this model, and we took it to the test vs pixel.. for my admiration, most of the pictures taken on s21 ultra just put the pixel to a corner... in a ratio of 8 in 10 pictures...
Sold my pixel.. bought the S21... and... i really noticed the diference.. way better pictures, way better video, better all-rounder...
Now i am trully disapointed with dxomark... that chart makes no sense... shame...
Basically buy the s21.. will not be disapointed..

Pixel has a wierd lens flare issue but the galaxy doesn't seem to have that. This should be a major plus for the galaxy
The SHUTTER LAG which results of airbrushed pics especially indoors with less than ideal lighting is why I won't be getting a Samsung phone. I don't know how they haven't fixed this

The bokeh effect on the pixel looks weird and a little aggressive for me... in the night video comparison, the last video looks better on the Samsung (less noise) but yeah the previous video was terrible and with a lot of noise.
The 3x and 10x zoom in the s21 ultra gets better with the expert raw app

Galaxy S21 Ultra is a much better smartphone overall especially since it's equal to Pixel 6 Pro in camera department. Well done Samsung!
Watch this video on a big screen and in 4K. By big I mean a lot bigger than 12". (In other words, no phones, tablets, or even laptops.) Then pay close attention to the texture of his dark gray coat. You will notice that the S21 Ultra has filtered out too much of the texture, whereas Pixel just leaves it there.
Also Exynos 2100 beats tensor hands down

can you maybe tell me why the quality of my Galaxy s21 ultra camera is clearly worse than that of my oneplus 7 pro and even worse then my oneplus nord ?

I have the s21 ultra, iphone 13 pro max and pixel 6 pro and I can see your comparison results differ greatly from the pictures I take. Imo with my Samsung, it usually take better pictures than the Pixel. Idk what is going on with your Samsung, possibly different processor, dirty camera lenses idk. Also make sure all the beauty filters are turned off

I think that makes the difference. The camera of the Exynos is not as good as that of the Snapdragon. Unfortunately we only have the Exnoys chipset in europe.

May it be exynos or SD version, the camera quality is not as bad as what is shown here. Not even close. The selfies shown here is with beauty mode and bright mode turned on for sure. Yes google pixel captures sharper portrait shots when the subject or camera has slight movements but the backgroud seperation is messed up. Samsung needs totally steady shots for a sharper protrait image, with little movement, subjects will be little soft but the background seperation will be better than pixel. It's a trade off of better seperation with softer subject or messed up seperation with sharper subject.
I got both and they are both great but I like my S21 ultra a tiny bit more. 😂. Mainly because of ONE UI 4.0

How Samsung has not addressed their shutter lag after all these years is mind blowing. The camera is pretty much unusable on kids or pets indoors.
That's why I can't buy Samsung phone. If you're trying to take pictures indoors with less than ideal lighting, any subtle movement and you come out blurry and soft especially with cats or god that have fur (looks airbrushed). On my Google Pixel 3 XL I tapped my shutter 6 times as fast as I could and my phone was able to take 5 pics. I tried the same with my brother's s21 ultra and his phone was only able to take 3 shots. Sometimes 1. The shutter is sooooo slow.

They did an update with my Samsung Galaxy 21 ultra that I just got done paying off and it messed up my camera. You stick the best selfies now. It looks so fake. Looking if you try zoom in and looking at stuff in the picture. It looks like little squares like you can see the pixels. It's horrible whatever they did. They did it on purpose to make sure you have to get a new phone. So I did call up and complain so they are sending me another one I just hope it's not the same problem because if they do it update. I'm sure it's gonna be the same problem. But thank you for the video cause. I'm seriously thinking about switching because I don't like updates to ruin the good thing. I had like my phone's in perfect condition. There's no reason for a new one except for that update messing up my camera.

I do not understand why are some youtubers promoting Google Pixel 6 so much even when there is so much issues with this phone. And if you are comparing any two phones, then keep each and every features of it in front of the public.
@@altafahmed8633 I agree, however there were also issues with the S21 Ultra when it launched. They promote the Pixel 6 because it's the better phone for most people. Don't get me wrong 8K is pretty cool but kinda useless atm. Samsung really crops in in 8K making it kinda hard to use. Anyway I am sure the S22 Ultra will be absolutely amazing.

@@altafahmed8633 8K is future technology yes but its kinda the wrong time to include it in a smartphone now imo. Consumers want useful features now, I mean 8K has a recording time limit and takes massive amount of storage and throttles the device. S21 sales have been very poor, Samsung needs to re-evaluate whats important to consumers hopefully the S22 will deliver.

My selfies on the s21 ultra don't look as bad as the ones shown here. You can't use 20 X zoom photos anyway. That's why I prefer a 10x optical zoom which is the best on the market
He didn't remove the smoothening effect on the camera, my s20 ultra doesn't take that bad of a selfies either, they are actually very nice.

Pixel still looks better with much more texture and details at 20X zoom.
For me the Pixel 💯 and the speed of Google software support is unmatched it's just the beginning sinds the release. This makes the Pixel the perfect phone for me I never liked the Samsung software in general.
Do you have the pixel 6/6 pro? If so, are you having any issues with it? Heard the December update brought a lot of problems with it. Some are saying that they can’t even make phone calls now, or use LTE. Most of those do not live in the US though. Do you live in the US?
Samsung has been beating Google at software support. Only thing Google does better is it brings major os updates to their phones frst and that's all

The 6 and 6 Pro are actually huge upgrades over the older Pixels. It's the first time Google bothered to upgrade their lens, and the custom chip also helps out a lot. It's your decision, but if you have the money then an upgrade would be worth it.

No phone has a usable macro mode, listen I don't want to insult you, but you don't seem to realize how macro photography works, you do get close to stuff with your camera, but you don't get that close, all these macro cams on the phones are useless, what would be useful is a 2x or 4x zoom with stabilization that can also focus 10 cm away. Are you starting to understand? Macro lenses for cameras are also tele lenses, that's why it's called tele macro, you get 10 cm close yes, but you also zoom in 10 x and that's when you get the really baller shots. What we get on phones is closer to a scam than macro.

Samsung's processed post is, has been and will always be rubbish, it is like this. He has never been able to process the photos, all-style, without textures and noise in broad daylight, especially on Zoom. I know this well because I've always had Samsung, and this year I've had enough of so much lying with their cameras, which always promise and never deliver, and I've moved on to the Pixel 6 Pro, and it's another world. Samsung, go to the horn......

@@ssaini5028 you're joking right? The exynos varient almost always gets worse battery life, overheats more, and ontop of that delivers worse performance while being more unstable. It is a laughable chipset that is only now starting to catchup with the snapdragon variant.
@@rlkxo3765 the comparison are everywhere, the SnapDragon is about 5-6% better in benchmarks and loses some. Battery life look almost equal from what I have seen give or take 30 mins SOT depending on the testing
