People are too confuied on camera which has minimal differences. Personally think Pixel photos is better but you cant go wrong on any of the phones. I buy phones based on its everyday use. Google AI, Call screening, call wait times, direct my call, transcribe, live translate, text to speech, always on display, magic eraser, camera action mode are some of the useful features I can use in everyday life. S21 ultra is a great phone especailly if you are used to samsung integration. That 100x zoom which the other 2 does not have is a game changer. Iphone 13 pro is a great phone (great camera, battery, display) for IOS lovers but pixel 6 are just more cheaper convenient, more customizable and useful to my everyday life.

Nice comparisons except for the telephoto pictures.
The Pixel 6 Pro has a 4x optical zoom, so when you are comparing it at 3X, then the Pixel uses a digital zoom not the optical one (contrary to the other two phones that have 3x optical lenses).

It doesn't make any sense to say "people only care about the final result" and then set the test up in a way that doesn't represent how most people will attempt to reach that final result. Hi there. You're zooming test is flawed and misleading for potentiel customers.
You must only compare optical zoom to optical zoom and digital to digital.
Comparing with equel zoom levels like 3x, 3x, 3x will not result in a fair test. The same goes for potrait mode which is cropped into the picture compared to Iphone and Samsung which uses an actual zoom-lense

Judging by what is visible on this video, the Pixel 6 Pro images are definitely the best. My reasons:
iPhone crushes the shadows too much, and both the iPhone and the S21 Ultra turns the clouds blue @ 3:10 and again with ultrawide image at 3:16. Both the iPhone and S21 fail to lift the images from the shadows from the tree in image at 3:53.
In my opinion, while the S21 Ultra can zoom in much more, I think the images are too dark compared to the iPhone and P6P @ 5:18. Also, once again, both the iPhone and the S21 Ultra turn the clouds blue in this image. Also, @ 5:48 there seems to be some color issues with the S21 Ultra. Notice the reflection in the clock looks more like a light smear than a reflection of a white picture frame. Also, the clock numbers are more eggshell than pure white, like in the P6P and iPhone.
Sound from the P6P was the clearest, loudest and most pleasant.
Judging from the video, agree that all of the night shots were very close and I agree there can be no clear winner on these images. However, it appears as though the P6P was the most consistent when it comes to color capture in night mode. For example @ 9:23 and at 9:30, the blue item looks more purple on the iPhone and the S21 Ultra.
Once again, in the video at 10:40 both the iPhone and the S21 Ultra turn the clouds blue, while the P6P keep the clouds gray. We know they should be gray from the previous photos in this video, as well at followed up by the S21 Ultra at 11:37 accurately showing the clouds as gray, while the Pixel and iPhone turn the clouds blue.
I think the night videos are the best on the iPhone, P6P comes in second and S21 Ultra third. Evidence is @ 13:03 where the lights inside the building are best seen from the iPhone, followed by the P6P and the lights are blown out on the S21 Ultra.
    Awesome video! Thanks for posting.

They all kind of have their flaws. The iPhone crushes blacks too much and has too much contrast, faces look orange. The Pixel has some overprocessing going on, and too much artifical detail and sometimes really flat looking images. The Samsung is also hit or miss, smoothes skin too much, too mucher shatter lag for moving subjects and mediocre night mode, but the best zoom and most versatility.

I like how she left the review open-ended, as it encourages comments like yours. I'm a Pixel fanboy, and just picked up the 6 Pro, but I have to agree that Samsung is the most versatile, but they're all pretty competitive, at this point. Google has a decent track record of fixing issues over time with Pixels, maybe that will be the case here. Samsung has went back to an almost perfect color disposition, its been so long probably since the note 8 i believe, but this phone has dominated 2 years worth of phones, preference can be an eliminating factor but the facts can not the funny thing is if you point out something in a photo that's off it'll be better in every other aspect, people will pick there favorite based preference but for the people who don't buy samsung it has to sting if you're claiming your phones better knowing it's not and that goes for video too, the iPhone is the best at straight out of the camera video but it can be beat without pro video mode there's too many weapons in the s21u(somebody needed to hear this) great video.

Great video Irina, it's a matter of preference really. All 3 are great phones, people need to think what OS they want and if they don't edit they need to think about things like exposure, colour science and white balance. My preference is pixel but as I said they are all great 🔥😎👍

Apple is doing all this with 12 megapixel camera’s, while Samsung and Google have to use 108mp and 50mp cameras. No one can compete with Apples computational photography. Also YES apple takes the best videos and lowlight which are the 2 things want best on my phone. Can’t wait for the 14 pro max, Apple is finally gonna upgrade to a 48 megapixel main camera.

This is so ironic because Google used to have contrasty clipping and now Apple's doing that and Google is going for photo-realism. So bizarre.

    • @robertwilsoniii2048

And then it is reversed for video. So as usual, pixel is better at photos (without proraw) and iPhone is better at videos. Though Google photos does allow raising shadows on video editing.
Ultimately though, a phone is not a camera so I do prefer iPhone. iOS is better, though Apple could do well to increase resolution of their pentile displays or switch to BGR or RGB subpixel layouts TBH. Maybe use the Apple Wath display design on iPhone, or switch to microLED when the time is right.

I think it was one of his best comparisons, but two sets of photos were really missed:
    1) macro
    2) night frontal
Otherwise, I preferred the S21 for its consistency and versatility, not raising shadows as much, but controlling light sources well, and with excellent white balance.
    Congratulations one more time!

Great video, keep it up! In my opinion iPhone takes the win, the low light video on Pixel is way too noisy and on the Samsung is mixed, sometimes it looks ok, sometimes when there are light soruces in the frame it gets also too noisy. For photos, the Pixel wins, it displays a lot of detail in darker areas, but the photos from iphone are very usable. Overall, iPhone has way more consistent results, I would take a 9/10 camera all the time than a 10/10 sometimes, but 4-5/10 other times ( what i mentioned above ) ...

There's actual cameras and computer tablets far superior to smartphones, there's no substitute for a phone. So, please prioritize audio more in phone reviews. Having paid 1500.€ for a S21 U, I shouldn't have to make so much of a compromise (especially now after Samsung removed memory card support). iPhones have the best video quality and exceptional sound, and good connectivity while comparatively less expensive. Indoor audio recordings of the S21 U that I've heard in reviews have a slightly tinny, often distorted reverberation. The separate speaker channels aren't optimality balanced, and the S21 U also lacks in bass frequencies. It's kind of okay with decibel volume, I can almost understand what's being said in a podcast I'm listening to while showering. The internal mic recordings have a noticeable bit of ambient hiss. ...Flagship smartphones, are phones; an essential technology which ultimately should prioritize audio and call connectivity.
