- This device kicked off this channel and since then I still get people commenting that they have bought this tablet, years after it was released.
The tab s6 has been with me since then I don't think you'll get a better real first-hand long term review anywhere else. Check out this long term eview video of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 to see what I like and dislike about it all these years later and whether you should get this or get asomething like the tabs9 FE

I bought the tab s6 lite last year and it still looks and feels modern
Nice I have one too I like it. I actually have a Tab S8 ultra which towers over any if the tabs I own but I like how compact the 6 lite is and it's actually snappy with a good screen for content viewing. I never use tablet outdoors so the lighting always works for me
You can use the S6 as a second screen. You can to enable it. I use it all the time. Open “Smart View” then tap the screen about 5 times. This brings up another menu where you can select “Second Screen”
I'm on my tab s7 and my s6 I sold to my friend. My friend LOVED it! Most of his workmates are on iPad and they were amazed on what my friend can do with the tablet, basically leaving his work laptop to do all the work on his s6. I'm on my tab s7 and still haven't upgraded because it's so capable that I don't think I have the need to upgrade it yet. It does VM - where mainly my work is done. It has data so I can take my work anywhere in the world as long as there is signal and the performance is just good. It does everything I want it to do.
Picked this up for the OLED screen, for some reason 99% of tablets are LCD/IPS unless you're spending close to $1000. This can be found used for $200-$300, simply unmatched for the price
I like your note-taking vids they're so detailed
Just found one with 8 gb ram with keyboard etc for 200 bucks which I think is a steal in good condition
Where you bought it ?
i am using S6 to watch this video 😅. It is very good for watching TH-cam 😊
When did you buy it, and how much?
I bought used Tab S6 WiFi for less than 220 USD last year with keyboard cover and used for 8 months, since then I use my iPad mini 6 less and less.
As a media consumption device Tab S6 OLED still rules!!
So ahead of its time
I have this and love it so much and i take care carefully my tab s6 and still looks like NEW 99%
Great vid 👍
Thanks!
I have this one. I love the AMOLED screen for watching videos and movies, but my only drawbacks are the software version and the fact that it lags a little bit every now and then. Otherwise a great tablet even today
thanks for this vid
Glad you found it useful
Im thinking on buying this! Thank ou so much for the review i found a cheap price for it and it already comes with a keyboard spen and a mouse, Anyways Thank you for your help😊
How much did you find it for?
I am watching it on my $40 Walmart Clearance Tab S6 Tablet 6 GB ram, 128 GB Rom Wi-Fi version.
Well that's a steal then!
@@TKItech Yes. Also got a ONN 2 in-1 13.3 Windows laptop reg price $388 for $40 too.
Just got the tabs9 for uni, hope it lasts as long as this
Congrats 👏
It is superb for geforce now and xbox cloud gaming as well, at least to play solo campaigns (the refresh rate is a bit too low)
Do all the other ranges made after this come with a keyboard and cover case ?
None come with a keyboard and cover case but yes they all have keyboard cover cases made for them which you can get separately
So can u use dex on tablet with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse or even wired one's vs using keyboard case?
You definitely can!
@@TKItech So its a setting to put it onto Dex Mode?
@@TKItech LG & Motorola also has a Desktop Mode. I heard Motorola actually has a really nice set up with Ready For. I have a Motorola OG Atrix HD and I was reading last night that for a 12 yo device Motorola has a great desktop experience which included a Linux setup. Moto even had the Lapdock device which was ahead of its time. Some peope still use with newer devices today with a little work. Like Pine Phone, Raspberry Pi, Etc.
Hi do you think it’s safe to keep using tab s6 now no more security updates? And will the apps still run ok for a few years on android 13? Please help and thanks anyone else who can answer my questions
Yes, you can use it for another 4-6 years before apps start to drop support
What kind of keyboard are you using for the tablet?
Samsung's own Tab S6 cover case/keyboard combo
Great tablet only reason why I wouldn't get it it's because it's no longer getting firmware updates
who cares about firmware updates
2022 verrsion will be getting updates dawg
@@_Digitalguy you must not know about technology. When your system gets no more software, that's the death of of your phone, tablet,pc
@@undergroundboy5556 it probably will but the first version which is this one is better
@@JAMES79HOWLETT base on what you say YOU don't know... tablets don't dei when they don't get OS updates (that's how they are called by the way, not firmware updates) I have several tablets on older versions of Android working absolultely great
@Samsung has arguably downgraded/sidegraded since the Tab S6. Every device since, there are screen quality issues, weight issues, and sharper edges on the newer tablets making them less appealing that the Tab S6 for every day use. If Samsung would simply make a spec-updated Tab S6, match or better the weight, smooth edges, and OLED+ screen, I'd be all in.
100% wrong..
@@roseforyoubabe interesting. Which one is lighter?
