Yeah a lot of weapon descriptions for many weapons in MonHun say something like "it drives the wielder crazy, provokes bloodlust, people can feel the monster's spirit, etc"
I’m just gonna head-canon it that though the Knight perished they did such horrible damage to the gods and crippled them with paralysis that they couldn’t launch their attack on mankind and instead locked the dread lance away with their diminished power.(locking it away being why it’s hidden in the code)

The Attack Bonus banner is most likely why the Weapons are Red. Tri had this secondary color system to its weapon upgrades, where you would upgrade to red (R) for attack increase, blue (B) for slots, and yellow (Y) for affinity. You would then upgrade to a mixed color to get two increases. So purple (P) for red and blue (attack and extra slots) green (G) for blue and yellow (slots and affinity) and orange (O) for red and yellow (attack and affinity) This would also change the secondary color of your weapon, giving it a matching stripe or accent. Not every weapon did this and not every weapon had every color.

I'm gonna guess the devs just sent the localization team the raw script containing all the text in-game. So they probably didn't even know this stuff wasn't supposed to be public.
I understand your fascination, since usually you charge translations based on the amount of characters. At the end of the day though, the difference in price would be minimal though compared to the main script

Ayo, can't wait for you to get to the modern games and check them for forbidden weapons.
Monster hunter tri was the 1st monster hunter game I played. It was so much fun but I have to say I enjoy the improved quality in life features that the new games have. That being said it was neat to find out that tri had hidden weapons
That's a neat trick for hiding that Element stat 🤣. Every monsters will have a nice of dose of perpetual shaker.
As always a great watch :) thank you
