Her creative delivery of these words is stunning and reaches that place inside the broken heart of anyone. Wow- such an honest, gritty, perfect explanation of the emotions behind what we’re hearing!! The first time I heard this (just after I had been astounded and enchanted by this little girl’s singing on America’s Got Talent, and all of Norway’s Got Talent), I thought that this was the first song I’d heard where she sounded overly dramatic and somewhat contrived in her delivery- like she was doing an imitation ( -a very good one, though!) of soul singers she’s heard. But after I read some of the raving comments, and raving podcast reactions, of people who were educated and/ or experienced in music, I listened again and again, and I heard it in a new way-appreciating that it was rather an emotional, honest interpretation of the lyrics. Reading YOUR comments, I see ( and hear) that it’s just another great example of how she CHANNELS the emotions of the true meaning behind the lyrics - emotions she, herself, may have never experienced before, but embodies in the moment. As another Angel said, it’s as if she isn’t making the music, but the music is using her! You should read into the reason why she wears no shoes. There's an amazing story behind it that's very heartwarming. I don't want to tell the whole story because I may have heard it wrong. But as I did hear it, she was little and in China. She saw a beggar that had no shoes. She was compelled to give the shoes right off of her own feet. That' not too surprising. BUT... She later wrote an illustrated book and has been selling it for years. Her mom did the drawings. Angelina put in her heart. Research it and I'm sure you'll be amazed.

You see her giving her instrumental notes to the director who stated that she was very polite as she referred to the changes as her wishes. I read in a reliable site she has a 5 octave range and speaks 3 languages (at that time) plus plays piano, guitar and two or three other instruments I cannot recall. She composes songs, written one book, she arranges all her music and creates her own clothing seen in the videos. Extraordinary person.

Why Angelina perform bare foot is cause she once meet a homeless girl her own age and she got so touched by her situation that she took her boots of and gave them to the girl. To show that she always will remember this she's not wearing any shoes on stage. A old soul in a young body indeed.

And in case you are unaware, when Angelina was 6 she gave away her favorite pair of shoes to a homeless girl trying to make money who didn't have any shoes & she vowed to always perform barefoot until every child in the world has shoes. And the pen was her marking musical changes because she does all of her musical arrangements. She also makes her own clothes. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

She wasn't too bad at 18 months either. Yep first song and it is in here somewhere. I read in a reliable site she has a 5 octave range and speaks 3 languages (at that time) plus plays piano, guitar and two or three other instruments I cannot recall. She composes songs, written one book, she arranges all her music and creates her own clothing seen in the videos. Extraordinary person.

Why Angelina perform bare foot is cause she once meet a homeless girl her own age and she got so touched by her situation that she took her boots of and gave them to the girl. To show that she always will remember this she's not wearing any shoes on stage. A old soul in a young body indeed.

I'd rather go blind (on her couch) , or Summertime (at norway got talent) , or It's a man's world (live) , or Feeling good (live) , or Where do I begin (accoustic guitar), or even I who have nothing (in a studio when she was six!) 🎶😁
