I watched from Start to Finish. Amazing and so well done. I could hear in Your voice just how much You feel for Angelina and Her fantastic talent. If My Husband was still on this mortal coil He would have been a very big fan. He Passed Away 27th April 2009 and the last CD he bought was Macey Grey. Along with other Jazz musicians She was played at His Service.

First time I’ve heard about Angelina absorbing not just the vocals, but the facial expression, makes perfect sense.

All of the judges adored her - they were all blown away - no criticism at all!!!
The youngest judge, Omer Bhatti, was totally partial and didn't even try to hide it. I think after Angelina's a cappella rendition of "I'm A Fool To Want You", the question was settled for him. There was her at the top and the others.

Absolutely true, wonderful in everyway 😊...I feel more than anything, that this unique little angel is most likely soft spoken, a might shy, and confident because her lovely grandmother and Angelina are extremely attached to one another. Grandmother knew, (and I'm only surmising,) that when Angelina was born, upon seeing this perfect little being, grandmother knew instantly that there was so much more than seeing her grandbaby girl, I want to believe that she sensed, at least emotionally, that Angelina was given an amazing gift, by only God, and grandmother was also spoken to from God that she was part of this gift. Grandmother listened carefully to God's instructions and knew exactly when the timing would be and began sharing these one of a kind singers of Jazz, R&B"s, The Kings and Queens of The Blues.
Yes, Angelina's grandmother loved and listened to all of these incredibly talented singers, but ask yourselves this; "Why would a grown woman, regardless of being a little girls grandmother, would feel it necessary to share this intricate, and specific music, even more strange in a complete foreign language to a baby, YES A BABY!!! I can only guess, and yes I am only guessing, but I believe that God showed Angelina's purpose and gift ahead of Angelina's birth. Angelina was gifted upon conception to be a God Gifted Musical Prodigy!! There are absolutely God gifted talents among us, but very few are gifted before birth. We all have heard many amazing singers, and I mean excellent singers. Example: Elvis, Freddy Mercury, Janis Joplin, and I consider these few mentioned as some of the top elite...We know about other types of born prodigies, I know that Beethoven, Mozart, prodigies that are gifted Artist's such as Monet, Rembrandt and those who play musical instruments at two-three yrs of age these are just a short list of prodigies. Angelina, is in this category of the one-of-a-kind ELITE!! Most singers are great singers, but must learn how to use their voices, to make sounds and use of their voices to make their singing come together. Not Angelina!!! What she's able to do with her vocal abilities cannot be taught, nor learned, no one will ever be able to duplicate her singing, sound, talent, I believe no one will ever even come close to her gift!! One of Angelina's great gifts is inspiring other musicians to be their best. The trumpet player here, the guitar player on "Bang Bang", the trombone player on (2017)

I have been watching Angelina grow up since the age of seven years old I saw her first Missy edition on Norway’s got talent, and to this day she has never disappointed. It was amazing to watch her grow up to listen to her sing to see what this girl really has in store for the world. I really do believe she really is an angel sent from heaven she just chooses not to wear her wings all the time though, I have seen drawings with her wings so I know for a fact she is an angel. She is the leader of all angels and that would be us the people. Angelina delivers a strong message but yet there are a lot of people who choose not to listen this girl could bring peace on earth anything is possible I am out.

The older judge on the right side said, he is so happy that Angelina has such a good protective family. Otherwise he would be very worried what happens to Angelina after this Event!
After this she continued in school like everyone else. But when she was free from school, she sang everywhere! By that I really mean everywhere. Lots of countries have been visited by Angelina. Most have been for childrens charity. Angelina's father works in the oil industry, and has traveled and lived in several countries. Angelina is well aware of the different conditions in different countries.
I loved watching your reaction video....she is a whole experience. First time I saw her was when she was very young singing barefoot in an outside garden. Magical.

I feel only great love and so much pride when Angelina sings ! She is the daily dose of medicine for my soul and I could listen to her forever ! The best thing: This is ALL Angelina - no coaching, and the arrangement is her own! Just a natural talent...
When singing, she is in her own musical world, no worries (hence her incredible confidence) but when talking, she is just a shy and unassuming little 8-year old girl.

The young guy, Omar Bhatti is close to the Jackson family, I read he stayed at Never Land..he became friends of the family after the show ended and he used to drive her around a little..he’s on record as saying when she sang in the car he had to pull over..the tears and unable to focus probably! I loved your reaction and I agree with you that although her voice is inimitable and here vocal skills remarkable, it is the 'wisdom' to make the choices she does is what made convinced me she was a genius. 😎
Angelina holds my heart in the palm of her hand and when she sings her voice gently caresses it. I'm too old to be crying when I listen to her, yet I listen to her every day and have no plans to quit.
Her breath control in that song---and the lilt along with the fry... It is now my favorite performance of this song. Yes, Angelina has even said in interview that a star is humble. So, you are correct in asserting the importance of the family role in her development with her gift. I love the way she hugs those judges---she's brushing their backs---it is a tribal way to take away negative energy (energetic/spiritual healing), and the elders speak of how the innocence of a child does just that in a situation like this. One could write several essays about this final performance, vote, and her reaction to winning. Thank you again for your engaged reaction. I like your reactions very much because of your engagement. It seems to me that now in 2023, at age 17 Angelina Jordan still exhibits humility in the face of the incredible fruit of her hard work. Grandma Ellen, out.
I remember her doing the same thing with Rosie O'Donnell in a video I saw 3-4 years ago - hugging her while brushing her back - on The View in 2014. The gesture struck me as particularly empathetic and tender, despite what seemed O'Donnell's condescension and rudeness towards her. I don't know if Angelina still do that today.

To this day, when someone compliments Angelina, she responds by saying thank you and it inspires her to work harder to get better. Angelina's entire being is focused on her music and on helping others, especially the poor children of the world.

Before performing the first time on AGT, Angelina said in her pre-show interview that if she won, it would be important to stay humble. I've never heard any other performer say those words.
Your explanation for how she does it at such a young age is as good as any. I think it will always be a mystery how she can intuitively interpret songs that are so well beyond her experience.

She gave her entire winnings to charity. She has also raised millions for charity since this age forward at benefit concerts. You should watch the other 3 from NGT that she did prior. They're all short, couple minutes each. Be sure to check for ones with subtitles since you enjoy hearing what they said to her.
She says that there is no place where she feels happier and confident. She was born to be a wonderful human being and a magnificent singer. I am a 76 year old gran and spend a lot of time alone and she is a great comfort to me.. Love your reactions, blessings from South Africa.

I have been listening to this little angel for a bit now and she is like a reincarnation of an old soul.... I swear!! Where does her voice come from.
I am in no way critiquing or criticizing; but i do get a worried for her. I am not a vocal coach but have sang in the past, and was classically trained for some years when I was young. She is so very young and i pray her little vocal chords are being protected like the national treasure that she is!! Please God! She is so fantastic..... please keep her little voice and heart safe ❤
Angelina started listening to her grandma's jazz/blues collection every day before she was 18 months old, and apparently absorbed every bit of it.
Please watch her sing BANG BANG, in the semi final that's the one with the white flowers in her hair in a little white dress. It's the best version of that song I have ever heard because the image, voice and lyrics are all in harmony " I were five and he were six we wore horses made of sticks"
She has become a unbelievable great human being ,it's amazing that a single little girl could have such a powerful impact on so many lives worldwide ,
To have the idea for this way of performance 👍so right. You can see in the rehearsal before, the arrangement is her Idea. She also told the trumpeter how he have to do this. At the performance she controlled him with the viewing at him 👍🫶
I feel like I've seen this final performance of NGA a million times, and every time, it leaves me a tearful mess. Angelina is blessed with a gift, and that gift includes her beautiful family, a family that most definitely includes her Uncle Michael, and most especially, her loving grandmother Mery, a national artist in her own right, and her lovely mother, Sara. I love them all. Angelina comes to us as a package, a very beautiful package indeed.

The judges are all accomplished celebrities. One woman (brunette) famous actress, the other female is an entertainer/ comic l believe. The young man is a close friend of Michael Jackson’s family/dancer/choreography and has introduced Angelina to the family. He has also been Angelinas close friend. I believe the older gentleman was in film production maybe but hopefully Angelina fans will correct me and fell in the gaps 😊❤❤❤
She was raised on Jazz and Blues from infancy and had the parental and grandparent encouragement from infancy, and it stuck. We all are the lucky ones to hear what she has been doing since infancy. She will be one of the greatest of the greatest when she is an adult. I'm 78 so I won't be around to hear her but when she passes as an old lady I'll hear her teaching the angels how to do it right. That takes a lot of the fear out of getting old. I almost can't wait.

Wonderful reaction to also one of my favorite videos. Where the Journey bagan. There are two family members in this video. Her Grandma Mery Zamani is in the middle of the audience with two I think Al Jolson (wrong, Louis Armstrong)signs and is seen raising both arms high above her head with both. At the very end Uncle Mike leans in to give her a kiss on the cheek. Her mother is seen backstage during Angelina's first performance of 'Gloomy Sunday' and her reaction was priceless. The whole family were there and are seen briefly at the beginning of one of the video's showing her mother Sarah and Father Gery Slatman holding little sister Juliette. He can be seen in another video shortly after she won saying how wonderful the experience was and how I sure proud he was in essence. He has remained in the background since thought Sister Juliette has some recent picture and videos with her dad including a short clip of him actually dancing with Juliette. Just priceless. That family is as incredible as Angelina is and have been the source of who Angelina is. Love from Viking Country. ♥👣🔥

Fyi, the Christmas show from '21 was just posted. A super band of musicians that have played for decades with Frank, Ella, Etta, Rod, have all seen her genius and put together a seven song Livestream and it's just dreamy. You can feel the weight of legends playing perfectly. These guys are the players that made the American song book and they made sure to open the door for her. What a gift life.

What a fun video! Let me take this opportunity to say something directly to you. You've certainly heard enough from Angelina already to know what is going on. She has captured our hearts with her love and it will never leave us. You, my friend, are a treasure, too. A tremendous example of your thoughtfulness is the name of your channel, 'Arab Man Reacts'. I can only imagine the reason why you chose that calling. I believe there is a lot that you want to say to people in a positive way and let me tell you, 'mission accomplished' ! I believe she's an empath and deeply feels the emotions of songs. She interprets them in her way, her style and being an empath adds even more emotional depth to the songs as she sings them.

First off I always love your reactions to a Angelina Jordan and the respect you show her always. My thing with watching Angelina I’m a 68 year old Former Marine/biker, and I have never in my lifetime had an artist to emotionally affect me the way, Angelina has maybe I’m just getting soft in my old age but she truly touches my heart. Every time a note comes out of her mouth!! I Don’t dare watch or listen to Angelina with anybody around me. She touches my heart and soul that much. It might be because my wife asked two years ago in my arms that has my emotions the way they are. I just think God that I’ve been fortunate to experience Angelina. I can thank you brother because you surely seem to appreciate Angelina and you show her great respect!!
I read that she asked her mother when she was five years old if she could go on NGT. Her mother found out she couldn’t participate until she was seven, so she had over two years to think about this and prepare for it (which I think she certainly did!). She picks her own songs, arranges them and performs them as she will. Her family was advised to not allow singing lessons for her, so apparently she only has been given instruction on how to care for her voice through exercises, etc. and not straining. When she was older she sang I Put A Spell On You but modified it so as to protect her vocal cords. She probably also had training in breath control because that in itself is amazing even from the earliest performances.
After years of listening our beautiful Angelina and reading countless comments from reactors and Angels just realised that she is “THE CHOSEN ONE “ 👸👼 to bring love, peace and happiness to this planet. We are so blessed to be living in this time and we are privileged to listen the most beautiful voice that ever existed, IMHO. ❤❤

Great reaction. Ive seen this many times but watching with you made me tear up again. She is so special. There is another video of her singing Summertime about 2 years later with an orchestra, its completely different and also amazing.
I adamantly concur with everything you said about how Angelina performed the song and your description of her technical acumen. Being a proud papa and grandpa myself I felt the same overwhelming emotions seeing sweet little Angelina’s reaction to winning.

Yeah, it was a landslide ❤️ Norway loves this girl and prodigy ❤️ And she is so humble, with all the praise she has got over the years, she still said in her concerts in Norway last summer that she will work harder and better to become even better than she already is ❤️ And yes, a massive thanks to the family. They are also amazing ❤️ I got to speak to mother Sara at the Kurbadhagen concert and she said that she was no one special when i wanted a picture with her, and i said, oh, yes you are... you are Sara, and i have the deepest respect with what you have done with your kids. Then she smiled and said thank you ❤️

I know what you're saying in Summertime... many of us have theorized how this young miracle (sic) comes up with her performances. I personally think Angelina is what happens when a physically gifted baby learns jazz as their first language. Norwegian, English, Swedish, Farsi, Japanese all came later.
I have seen this several times and always made me so happy. Watching your reaction and seeing it again made me happy and brought a tear to my eye. Thanks. Bang Bang was my personal favorite of NGT competition with the nuances

I rarely if ever hear people making it on theyr first try,i think it is because we normally "pronounce every single letter" and differently then most english speaking countries do. 2:21 You just want to hug her,just her telling the elderly lady "sorry for making you touched by my voice". 9:01 Thats Omer Bhatti,i believe he is the youngest of the judges,so he represents the cool youths in many ways,he became famous as a kid for befriending the one and only Michael Jackson,and MJ would invite him with him on many world tours he did back in the day. He has been at MJs home several times as well on a visit. He then spent his kid and teenage years impersonating MJ in clothing,and dancing like MJ on different tv shows and other musical arrangements. Then he went radio silent for some years,before he came back as an adult artist and music producer himself. He is still quite the desent dancer today as well,but creating music is his main focus,for others or releasing his own stuff.

He is a longtimer within music as a singer songwriter,tv and movie acting,he has released several books. He is a director in several movies and tv productions,and he is actually the national theatre manager in Norway. If anyone knows what talent is,and knows what he is talking about,its this guy. And still till this day,he is super passionate about every artform he is invested in. Amazing,passionate,laidback and a genuine guy. One of the best judges to have been in this show by far!
10:17 Thats Lisa Tønne,she started out in Norway as a "minority female stand up comedian" She consider herself a full on Norwegian,but she was born in Teheran,Iran on the 21st of December 1977. Her increasing success as a standup comedian resulted into her getting acting roles in both tv productions and movies,and it did not end there. She is today also one of Norways most attractive tv show hosts. I dont know who i would link her up to,i dont know too many female standup comedians that has become a judge in AGT or BGT. But she has good experience in seeing talents in many various sides of the entertainment buisness for sure.
13:00 Thats Mia Gundersen,i guess you can call her the white Tyra Banks or the white Oprah Winfrey of theese judges. Im thinking more of Tyra Banks,as Mia in many ways started out as this tv personality,that also did some modeling on the side in her youth. Then she became an actress into both tv production series as well as movie productions. She has lead several tv shows,and has often been seen on the red carpets and such in different settings. She is also a singer herself,with 1 full album released and a featurette on several other albums,1 even alongside Bjarte Hjelmeland with Oslo Gospel Choir singing Christmas Songs. That album is actually quite stunning.
That pretty much sums up the judges and where they come from and such. Mia has of course attended many of the theatres in regards to acting,where Bjarte is the theatre manager,so thoose 2 knows eachother well.
She donated her winnings to charity. Everything about this girl is incredible. Poor Bjarte, the second judge to speak, was practically in tears, and the others weren't far behind. And little Angelina just says, "It's fantastic to be here" in her humble way. Thank you for a truly heartfelt reaction.

After all this time I just noticed the man kissing Angelina on the cheek right at end of video was her Uncle Mike and is also her manager.
Angelina has been able to express emotion from a very young age. You’re right that she hasn’t lived long enough to have had the experiences spoken of in the lyrics but you’re wrong in thinking that she is mimicking someone, she has understood the meaning of the songs she sings from a very early age. This is why people have said she is an old soul or reincarnated. I don’t know how she does it but I know that I am only one of many thousands of people who FEEL her singing. Yes she has a wonderful supportive family who have managed to get the balance right between her being a child and pursuing her singing career. This is evident from the way she transforms from a little girl before singing to an exceptionally talented performer, then back to the little girl when the song is over. Absolutely love her and hope to live many more years to watch her become the superstar she is destined to be (I’m 70).
Yes, you centered on what makes so many of us so completely and unreservedly diehard Angelina fans. Aside from her singing (if I can put that off to the side), we love the person she is. Her humility comes through in her singing, and as we learn of her family and her values, we want to bond with and protect Angelina. You said once you felt like her uncle. Yes, we all do, especially those of us who have watched over the years this amazing talent stay true to her values and her music. I listen to her everyday-and no singer has ever come remotely close to that.

Boudy, I really enjoyed your reaction and response to this amazing moment in Angelina's artistic life. Your observation is so true, that the kind of fame that follows an make or break a person. Angelina has shown that she's surrounded by people who model values of kindness, giving, and universal love. I believe she used to go with her grandfather around town as he gave away money to people in need. Talk about an early education in values! No wonder she gave her shoes to that little girl and donates so much to charity. A true human. With a major talent packed inside. A gift to us.

After all this time, I still think this is the 2nd best performance (after "Bohemian" on AGT) that AJ has ever delivered. Her maturity in a few months on NGT from a talented kid to essentially a professional singer is one of the most mind-blowing things I've ever witnessed. Thanks, Boudy, for your heartfelt reactions. They take me back to how I felt the first time I heard these performances.
