- First time reaction the these two songs performed by Angelina Jordan to whom I've reacted before (Summertime and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road).
Have been looking forward to checking out this uber-talented young lady and decided to go back to her earliest work and her latest.
I was blown away before and was blown away again. These two performances showed me Angelina's growth as a singer and yet still able to retain her gentle personality.

The youngest published author in Norway history...arranges her own music and writes her own songs...an artist who paints...plays piano, guitar, violin and flute...makes her own clothes and performs barefoot until every child has a pair of shoes (there's a story about that)....and just a genuine beautiful person....and best of all...she sings like no one else...the beauty in her voice is unmatched.

When she won the Norway's GT show she always sung barefoot, because one time when very small she met a kid that had no shoes and she gave her shoes to that kid, so that was why she sung barefoot. Very humble indeed!! I admire her so!!

It’s not possible to say that someone is the best singer in the world because there are too many styles, personal preferences, and metrics for talent, but I can say without any reservation that there is no one I would rather listen to than Angelina. Her interpretation of lyrics, her involvement with the song, and that voice-it’s beautiful, emotive, resonant, and calming simultaneously. Other singers, like Dimash, have unmatched technical ability, range, and style, but there are no singers that I go back to everyday as I do with Angelina. Other singers perform, Angelina lives the lyrics like no one else. I just felt the emotion you did, and I’ve heard Bohemian Rhapsody more than one hundred times.
And you’ve just scratched the surface, hard as that may be to believe. Angelina covers Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Adele, Any Winehouse, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra, Whitney, Willie Nelson... ... ... In many of of those, I like her version better, but in none of them does she disappoint. She takes on the greatest singers doing their best songs and gives a personal, original take that changes the game, but still pays homage to the original-just as she did here to Freddie Mercury and Queen. It’s hard to imagine where Angelina goes from here, but I’m along for the ride.

Hey, albert stern - I’m 74, watched the birth of rock n roll, and was immersed throughout the 60’s in fabulous music. I’ve never been as captivated by a singer as Angelina.
Yes it is possible to say that and I'm going to say it again now. Angelina is the best singer in the world and beyond! The only one I listen to every day.
I’m 75, a widower why lives by myself, and Angelina is a part of my medication everyday. My social life has been decimated by COVID-19 and my health issues. I love watching reactors to her, as it is a way of sharing my enjoyment with others.
Thank you for your reactions Lukas. They bring me some moments of joy. I have not been watching many videos lately but I took a minute to watch this. Your positivity uplifts me. We are being evicted and are going to be homeless now. To face this at the age of 51 and have to watch my 22 yr old break down and cry from the stress and have to tell my 14 yr old what is going on..hardest time of our lives. Thank you for just helping me take a break from our situation for a few minutes at least.

Thank you, that means a lot. I am sitting here letting myself just cry for a minute while my kids are not around. You live in an expensive place like us (Los Angeles) and there are so many people in need. I am trying to stay positive but I am having health issues too and everything is just so overwhelming, especially today for some reason. My oldest son is 22 and is 7'4" and has a genetic condition from me and other health issues that make us very vulnerable to COVID so the thought of being in a shelter, him having to try and fit on a cot, the stress this is causing my 14 yr old...it is just a little much today. Thank you for the hugs. If you could send some positive thoughts and a Guardian Angel our way, we would appreciate it.

As far as the Bohemian rapsody is concerned, I can not write any more because my eyes are full of tears.

The thing that floors me is that she is singing in a language that is not hers. She is Norwegian and English is not her first language. for a child of six or seven to not speak but sing in a foreign tongue is amazing. The only other musician I know of who is multi lingual is Alma Deutscher who is English but has taken the classical route. If you have never heard of her I suggest you look her up because she is a true prodigy. Plays piano violin writes music and operas and dreams music, literally.
A'capela, from start to finish with no musical intro to help her find the proper starting note, is so risky but
here she is at 7 years of age, in front of a national audience, showing no fear. The fact that she sounds

First, I love your reactions. With Angelina it's all about the textures and emotions and personal interpretations in her songs. She grabs you right away and you disappear with her into that beautiful place in her mind and soul that is an endless well of peace and tranquility. All your tensions, worries and troubles are taken away and you are left awestruck at the wonder of this completely honest, humble and graceful creation God has given us at a time when her endearing, beguiling innocence is so desparately needed. Now that I've told you a little of how I feel about our Angelina (for I am incapable of fully articulating my emotions with mere words) I would like to post some background info about Angelina that I have compiled and keep handy in my notes.
Angelina's fans are millions strong, very loyal and dedicated and as nice as any people you will ever interact with. We consider rude/bad behavior to be anathema to the spirit and sweet soul of Angelina and no true fan would ever be guilty of that, at least when Angelina is the subject of discussion.
Angelina designed and sewed the outfit she wears on AGT “Bohemian Rhapsody” as she does for much of her performing wardrobe. The material is a print of one of her grandmother Mery Zamani's paintings. Mery is a well respected Iranian artist who, along with Angelina's beautiful Iranian/Japanese mother Sara, is a great influence on Angelina. Angelina's father is a Swedish engineer and her uncle is her manager. Angelina turned 14 on Jan 10, 2020. The 1st song Angelina ever sang was in her crib at 18 months of age. Mery is a jazz enthusiast and began introducing Angelina to jazz by age 2 or 3 through a friend of Mery's who owns a small vintage vinyl record shop in Oslo. There are videos of a very young Angelina going through jazz record bins, carrying a Frank Sinatra song book and singing/playing piano in the little shop. Her first recording session was at age 6. Her first two performances on NGT (she won) were Billie Holiday songs. She also sang a Sonny Bono song and George Gershwin’s “Summertime”.
Angelina has 125+ covers, 3 original songs and many interviews and thousands of reaction videos on TH-cam as well as over one BILLION hits total on social media worldwide. She covers more than 50 artists including Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Adele, Lana Del Ray, Elvis Presley, James Brown, Julie London, Patsy Cline, GEORGE GERSHWIN, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Queen, Elton John, The Righteous Brothers, Leslie Gore, Frankie Valli and many more. Angelina always performs barefoot. When she was 6 she was visiting Tehran with Sara and Mery. One day while they were walking through the market place Angelina spotted a young girl about her age who was offering to weigh passersby on a bathroom scale in exchange for small coins. Angelina was allowed to go over and talk with the girl for quite a while and they had a strong connection. Angelina at one point asked the girl what her dream was. The girl wanted to be a doctor but her parents were dead so she and her 2 siblings had to work. Angelina told her to never give up on her dream. Angelina had noticed the girl was barefoot on a cold day and her feet were scarred and blistered. When the girl admired Angelina's beautiful shoes Angelina took them off and insisted her new friend take them. Her friend put them on marveling at their comfort and asked Angelina what was her dream. Angelina told her she wanted to be a superstar and sing for the whole world. The little girl said she would pray for Angelina every day and Angelina promised to always sing barefoot while there were still children without shoes. For 8 years now Angelina has been faithfully true to her promise. At age 8 she wrote a book, illustrated by her grandmother Mery about the encounter called "Mellom To Hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) making her Norway's youngest published author.
Angelina regularly performs for children's charities and donated much of her 80,000 euros prize for NGT to charity and helped raise over 21 million euros in Germany for children's charities.
Angelina always comports herself with grace, humility and respect for all including audience, fans and artists. Angelina is beautiful in every way God intended. I am a grizzled old sailor of 65 years and she melts my heart. Angelina is simply the best singer ever recorded. I adore her and thank God for sending His Angel to us.

For a real treat type in Angelina Jordan Outdoor Concert- I sometimes just pull that up and listen her sing I think it's 14 songs outside in Norway, but it might be somewhere else. I don't think I will ever get tired of hearing her sing! She's one of a kind! I love her style- the way she sings, her humility, the way she presents herself, I wish her nothing but all that is good in life!

Actually Lukas, this performance was the second round. In the first round, her audition, she sang "Gloomy Sunday" and gave a mind-blowing performance!!!

I know it's a little late on this video, but it's obvious that Angelina is surrounded by people who understand that music industry very well and make suggestions, but nobody controls what controls what comes out of her mouth on stage! All the little decorations to songs are gifts from her soul!

There are tools and creations. Many singers have awesome tools at their disposal. They can mimic most things and some times even do them technically "better" than they were originally done. I am not needed, as a listener, in that process. I am not a professional. There are better judges than I of the quality of the tools a singer possesses. I can appreciate the hard work and talent, but the effort does not move me.
Then there are creations. Doesn't matter if it is original or a reinterpretation. A creation transports me to a different emotional state, recalls a memory, shifts perspective, etc. The singer may possess a wonderful set of "tools", but the most important part is what they create with those tools. It is a shared experience. It is something that affects most people instantly and there is just a bit of alchemy and magic that occurs that most instantly recognize.
Then there are people like this young girl. They just have both. The best word I can think of is quality, but that really isn't enough. You just go someplace else. A door is opened with sound, but you are transported to another place for a few minutes.

Angelina is a song thief, and I love her that. I'm 60 years old. So I heard all of the songs that Angelina sings, as they were introduced new. Some that I'm surprised I can remember. What I love about her, is that she takes me back to those days, but then she adds more beauty to the songs that I loved by adding emotion that is true. No one can sing a song like Angelina Jordan. Why? Because she doesn't sing. She vocalizes love and emotion in a way that I have never witnessed before. She could sing the Barney song and bring tough men to tears. Man, I have a whole list beautiful classics I would love to hear this little angel cover, and I will guarantee, that if she did, those songs would belong to her forever more.

"I put a spell on you" is the one song that blew my mind the most of all the ones i heard from angelina, her range and technical skill, but also interpretation and strenght is truly incredible.

Hi Lukas, I have only discovered Angelina this afternoon, and I am totally blown away, her voice is the best I have ever heard in all my 70 years, I have been watching/listening for about 10-12 hours now. Of course there are so many great artists, and of course Freddie Mercury was one of the best, but right now Angelina is the best on the planet, her range, emotion, understanding of the lyrics, she's flawless imo, and I am no musician at all, but I love music and I know what my ears and heart are hearing and feeling, she has rekindled my love of music, I really appreciate your reaction videos too, giving your honest opinions and evaluation, and yes, she is still so incredibly beautiful, I just hope that the world doesn't destroy her
