Read Dr. Clare Weeks books. People become afraid of their symptoms, which creates more adrenaline. All it is, is your nervous system becomes over stimulated by trauma or a lot of stress. She says to except your symptoms as a broken nervous system and once your body has had efficient time to recover, then you will be symptom free. Our bodies are meant to react in very strange ways when it is stressed. I'm now practicing her method. It can take a very long time to heal. People will heal faster when they don't respond fearfully to the symptoms.

Take magnesium citrate in the evening as long as it's not contraindicated with anything you are currently taking. It will help you a lot. God Bless! 😊

I've wrote on one of your videos already but hearing this one two was nice. Makes you feel like you're not alone. Ive dealth w anxiety n depression since the age of 9 or so. Depression came later in my teens. I never did anything about it plus my mom was against any pills or ever think something was wrong. So I've always learned to deal w it. I smoked weed at 17 n noticed that helped. But then dating a few bad chicks n just how the world is changing n not for the good, it hit me hard. Im 35 now n dealt w 5 collapsed lungs. I had surgery on one 2 years ago. The docs couldnt figure out why buy knowing me n my body, I knew it was from stress. Or what I thought was stress. Cuz when it happens I cant breathe n feel really tight n pain all in my chest. N I so get that empty feeling in the upper chest. Which helped me hearing that cuz I always thought it was just my lungs. I went in to a doctor after I fell to the floor trying to breathe n not much before that I snapped at a good friend of mine n have been getting that way for awhile. I thought i was just pissed at how ppl are to me or even other ppl but it was me not knowing how to deal w it. Im on day 8 now n finally got passed the hell part of taking those pills which I already feel better not feeling like crap lol cuz that was bad lol idk how long it really takes for these pills to do their things but in ways I already notice a difference just on how I can breathe n how I talk to ppl again. Still got a long road ahead but just thanks again for your vid cuz they truly do help 😊 God Bless!

I've been dealing with anxiety. Felt like I was having a heart attack 6 months ago. Just sitting on the couch watching a movie with my wife... Chest got really tight, heart started hurting, difficulties breathing, feet cold, palms sweaty. Now since then I've been dealing with disassociation/derealization.(where reality just seems fake and like I'm not processing information like I normally would) my anxiety is about my health... thinking is it some disease or is my heart getting weaker, cancer, etc. It's been really hard on me to feel like I'm on the verge of dying for about a month before I went to the doctor and got put on sertraline. I've been on it for 5 months and it's taken the edge off but every day I still have chest pains and almost like I'm going to forget to breathe. I too are like you, I never thought about mental health and anxiety, I made it to 29 without ever worrying about my mental or physical wellbeing, so I ask myself.. why now?

Hey mate, thanks for sharing your experience. Have you been for tests for your heart? Echo, ECG etc? Sounds similar to what I get sometimes which is severe clenching in the chest. But I was diagnosed with a faulty aortic valve which was causing me chest pains throughout my entire teens. However when I started suffering anxiety, it was a similar feeling and sensation. Worth getting checked out.

@@riship88 yes. Through a lot of testing and even a 7 day heart monitor installed and the doctor said everything looks normal. Even tested my thyroid and other similar diagnosis that could cause my symptoms and everything came back clean.

Very Informative great video brother i just coming off just recently three (3) days ago. The second night i had a reoccurrence of my severe symptoms. Got a 15 minute massage and finally got ease and went to sleep. Everybody has their own ways and triggers really appreciate your vids man very helpful. I am at the office now watching these vids and in shock of always feeling i am alone with this condition. My cope strategy now is healthy diet, exercise, and sleep. These are my life principals now like i am committed to these according to my Doctor coming off sertraline i must replace with these three (3) things. Its a win win for me all these three (3) things are easy available and free. Just never thought not contributing to these daily would eventually lead me to depression and anxiety. Thanks again mann really appreciate you sharing making a great impact around the world for us silent lambs ehehe thanks

Thanks Henry, very happy that the vids have helped you. Yes, my day now consists of gym, healthy eating and a lot of mindfulness. It really is the only thing that keeps my anxiety at bay - journaling, gratitude and silent sitting. Keep in touch bro.

Hey Rishi, great video. Some of your symptoms echo mine. Curious how your sleep has been since coming off of sertraline? I’ve found the sleep impacts to be the hardest part of dealing with anxiety.

Hey Riyad, thanks for your comment. My sleep initially was such that I didn't feel like I was getting enough but these days its very regulated and I need at least 8hrs. How's your sleep?
