Practicing Gratitude Daily to Reduce Anxiety
Finished this book a month or so ago and have been checking out reviews - I relate to your reaction the most! What a ride. Has become my favorite book. Gonna check out your review of the play now 🏃♂️
Great video I’m going to be starting soon for anxiety I’ve been dealing with the past 6 months. Starting at 25mg for a week then increasing to 50mg while keeping in touch with Dr, hoping to get some relief! I have been apprehensive but watching videos like these are reassuring thank you
I'm starting week 7 of Zoloft and still waiting for my anxiety to lift. Going to give it a few more weeks and revisit it with my GP.
Thanks for sharing your perspective i am 23 and want to develop my courage i over think things a lot and struggle with stress and thought maybe by taking a solo trip i will over come it i am also a people pleaser a u said
I know this video is old but I'll respond anyway: I was on sertraline for a few months everything was going great, then i forgot my prescription on a trip, I did fine without them (i was on a low dose idk if that helped) so when I came back I just decided to quit. I felt good until a few weeks went by and I just noticed the physical sensations of my anxiety and depression and the doom feeling. I have always been someone that works outs, meditates, journals, does yoga etc. so while I full heartedly agree with those practices they didn't do much for my specific issues. Long story short a few months without and I realized i don't get a sticker at the end of this life because I "powered through" so I'm back on sertraline. I'm sure I'll get off them sometime in the future but for now I'm so happy to have the support. Its also really cool to look into the neuroplastic effects of ssris and the potential for long term neurogenesis which helps me reframe the medications as brain boosters rather than "drugs." Essentially the meds help your healthy practices become more effective and that is absolutely a win/win for me. Oh also going back on the meds i didnt have any of the side effects i did when I first started minus being tired for a week, so that was a nice surprise.
As a Cornwall dweller, used to go there a lot. It was somewhere really special to go, but on last visit it had become a bit run down and going by recent videos by others, it hasn’t changed. Haven’t been for a few years now. The Idle Rocks is far better. St Mawes is a village not a town.
Thanks for sharing your story, God Bless.🙏
What happened to the rest of the video?
Hello; are you going to up any videos in future; hope you are well!
Hey, thanks for the message. I just uploaded a holiday vlog. Let me know if there is any type of specific videos you would like to see. Thanks
I stopped taking setraline after 2 months.I had lots of yawning and irritable bowel movement when I was taking it, but I was feeling good and my anger outbursts was not there anymore. I just stopped on my own without any consultations. I had eye strain and headaches for few days. I found it difficult to go to sleep but slept longer, had lots of wierd dreams. I feel better today after 4 days of withdrawal.
Thanks for sharing! 🙏🙏
I have had anxiety and panic disorder for 17 years. Its all I Know. and im scared to not feel scared. Or to lose myself and have worse anxiety for the first couple weeks. I need to be on something but scared to start and scared to have any side effects.
The only side effect I’m having right now is heart palpitations at 3 or 4am that messes up my sleep after that or during the day 🥲 it’s been almost a month for me. Other than that the other side effects went away. Also I lost my appetite a bit but not much. I will be reaching out to my doctor soon. I take it during lunch time but it never makes me feel sleepy.
It sorted me right out but messes with your sex drive
Sad but true. Wellbutrin can help .
Why make breakfast so short?! Want to see what they are fully serving😢 any pig? Overall great vlog 💁
Thanks for the feedback Georgina. I was still trying to get into practice of filming and I was with a friend so didn't want to be that annoying person. But taking your comments on board. Thanks for watching.
Yes I just found out; that Glycine produces Serotonin! Wanted to let you know.
What type of anxiety you had ? What was your diagnosis..
It was stress related. It wasn't really diagnosed but it was due to my new business and uncertainty around that.
Did you experienced hair fall from sertraline 100 mg?
No as I was taking hair growth tablets at same time
The problem with sertraline/Zoloft is that it takes an unnecessarily long time to increase the dose, and then despite the low ratio of side effects, it is not very effective in panic syndrome, OCD, social anxiety and GAD. Personally, I think it's worth starting with paroxetine/Paxil, because it's both the most potent SSRI available, you kind of know in advance that it will work. 20 mg can be increased quite quickly to 40 mg, which is usually the optimal dose for most people. Sertraline works without a doubt, but it takes longer to reach effect, and the dose response curve is strange, where you have no idea in advance whether 50-100-150 or 200 mg is the final goal. Sertraline also acts significantly more slowly than more potent SSRIs such as Paroxetine
Im on sertraline for 55 days now 25mg for anxiety and some Ocd, at the beginning was awful my anxiety spiked to the roof and i started to get so many panic attacks. Now im better but not much better. And im afraid to increase the dosage to 50 then experience the same thing again. has Anyone experienced such thing?
Thank you …..I needed to hear all of that ….. I am 72 …heading to Madrid….myself…my 2nd my first was Prague …. Great experience…. I am hoping this will be half as good …
Have the best time William!
Beautiful birds 🦢
They are, so many varieties there.
Hello yes a bit busy; maybe try another time. Thank you 🥳
Thank you again!!!
Any time!
Thank you!!
I started with the audiobook and I got nothing ... I had to read the first few hundred pages first until I got the hang of the story then I went back to the audiobook and finished it with no problem. Yes, the audiobook is overwhelming in the beginning.
I did the same, started with Audio and very quickly got lost in the words to had to move to paperback.
Need to ban antidepressants drugs from india
Is it really bad there?
I experienced serotonin syndrome, akathisia, nose bleeds and eye pain which persisted for the entire time I was on it. Withdrawal off this drug was intense and brutal. These drugs over time down regulate the receptors in your brain that are needed to regulate the amount of serotonin in the synapse. Ongoing use of SSRIs will actually cause these receptors to disappear. Of all the serotonin present in the body only 1-2% is actually found in the brain. 90% is in your gut. These drugs have a downstream effect throughout your body. The myth of low serotonin being the cause of anxiety and depression has been debunked. These drugs ‘work’ by limiting your range of emotions both negative and positive. While there may be some who are going through a tough time and taking these drugs may provide a reprieve from whatever emotions they are experiencing, they aren’t meant for long term use. You just can’t medicate normal human emotions and too many prescriptions are written for patients going through a transient event.
Off sertraline process at 07:00.
Even though the "Night Riviera" is a Standard Class train service, on which cheap Super Off-Peak tickets are valid, passengers occupying a cabin still get a complimentary breakfast in bed, free biscuits and hot chocolate in the Lounge Car, and the use of the First Class Customer Lounges at Paddington, Truro and Penzance before or after their rail journeys! What's not to like?
Yes BUT you forgot to mention that to get access to the cabin you gotta pay a nonrefundable extra fee that is around 80-100/person (reasonable but to be mentioned)
I know people who really don't like the sleeper experience. I personally love it and try and use it as much as possible when visiting friends in Penzance.
Hi all, taking Sertraline from 15 years at 100 mg. I reduced it at 75 mg and then 50 mg 1+ year ago that was quite tough. Now feeling ready to go to 25 mg. I want to know if the difficulty of reducing to 25 mg will be the same as to be stop completely (to be on 0 mg)? And Sertraline is causing me serious side effects as dry mouth and digestion issues: would it disappear completely after stopping the treatment? And in how much time? Thanks and good luck to everyone !!
There’s poor acoustics in your room . Your explanation was great, thank you.
Yeh early days of filming without mic and in a room with no soft furnishings.
Any solution for the emotional blunting caused due to ssris ?
How about discontinuing of Zoloft ? Are you still taking this medicine or have you stopped taking it.
I stopped a few years ago but took about a year to tapper off
How about discontinuing of Zoloft ? Are you still taking this medicine or have you stopped taking it. Can you create another video regarding how to stop this medication
I have one on my channel
I take Only two days two sertaline i filling bud headache and dizy I go Emergency I was good this without this medication and I stopped I don’t wanna take it anymore So I am 16 day still have hand shaking samtime dizy I feel worse I don’t know it’s going away 😢🤷🏻♀️
The problem seems to be the society, which causes the problems.
And a lot of self inflicted pressure
Thanks for your video, it's really helped me to be confident in taking medication. I have had anxiety and depression problems my entire life, but I just tried to push through it and increase excefcise when it's bad. However, I went back to university as a mature student, and it got to the point where nothing worked to bring me back anymore and back in January/February this year I party much had a mental health breakdown and had to take a step back from my course. I got help, did cbt and during the summer I was back to my normal self and feeling okay. With minor bouts of depression and anxiety. However now I am close to going back to university, the anxiety has returned and depression has began to creep in too. So I took the doctors advice and I am starting sertraline this weekend. Again thanks for your video , it has given me the confidence to give this a shot
I hope you are feeling better and they are helping.
if it works they WHY do people want to come off it? the expense? or the long term side effects? Weight gain? ED? please elaborate
For me it was about knowing I was mentally stronger to live life without it. It was a personal choice, I could have stayed on them.
I am having acne with Zoloft but it is helping with my anxiety
Glad to hear it's helping
I love how you've expressed yourself here...thanks for your insights❤
Ah thanks for you comment and watching x
To all ladies out there I have been on various antidepressants until I read the package insert where it states that SSRIs can cause haemorrhagic bleeding. I am tapering. I have to avoid a hysterectomy. I use seratonin boosting essential oils and I am hoping for the best. I'm disabled with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. We bruise easily and can bleed very easily internally. Blessings from South Africa. Sue
Rishi - are you still on sertaline? Just wondering 🤔
I am not, I'm now using alternative methods/therapies
Can you share more about your alternative? Maybe a new video? Thanks!
@@ewelinasandill2167 if you DM me on Instagram I will tell you @rishikumar_
I have been looking for a video like this for a long time! Thank you for the structured journaling time Instead of just journaling prompts. 🎉

That side of Buckingham Palace is a bit ugly. But that's because the view the public sees is the back of the Palace. The front faces the garden. But definitely more attractive buildings in London.
Those ground floors and the food hall are always crazy busy!
Yes it was mad!
Is this book is on Homosexculity?
There is a underlying theme of homosexuality but not obviously.
Thank you for your video, I’ve been on 100mg for over 5 years. I’m going to call the doctors on Monday 🤞🏻
You are welcome! All the best
