that magnificent old bag, what a gem. You can tell she's raised boys. So supportive and grouchy at the same time. Every ounce of that woman is a Mom, what a grand lady.
I love when grandma Lolly is present! She is quite the trooper and doesn't mince any words. Everyone else is gagging and she just sticks her head in and checks it out. You guys are off to a great start. Can't wait to see this derby competition to the end. Thanks for sharing 👍
I was in a head on collision when I was in my 20s, driving a 79 Ford LTD. I walked away from the accident without a scratch. The person that hit me was driving a later model Cadillac. Her ride was totaled and she left the scene in an ambulance. That LTD saved my bacon.
The first job I had was delivering groceries. My boss had a 73 Delta88 with a 455 in it. Every once in a while he would toss me the keys and tell me to blow the carbon out of it. What a blast.
I agree view bro, Paul is looking Dandy and I see the boys are too.wish I had those family days boys, you will cherish every second of it when you grow older.don believe me now, that would be normal and we don't... Mal.
Some call me Hoopty instead of Hampton due to my love of the 60s-70s 4 door boats. I love seeing Pauls creations but it hurts to see these old cruisers disappear.
I'm with you G. I love the 60's 70's land yachts especially Buicks. It kind of bothered me to see some of the distruction but I get it. It wasn't a revival.
Paul I am looking forward to the next video in my opinion having you, Matt, Rudi and Robby as a 4 man team is definitely going to be fun to watch and my money is definitely on you four guys.
Lolli definitely showed her immense strength as a woman that's been around and seen some things when she straight faced said how foul the trunk smelled then proceeded to lean further into it for for a better taste😂
I love the One liners - Grandma Lolly, "Is anyone missing a relative?" "That is rank, I'm not gonna lie... I've smelt worse raising Paul!" Paul "...I tackled the trunk. It was gag a maggot stuff back there." You never cease to entertain, it's awesome seeing everyone get involved on tearing down that Olds 98 Class 4 Imperial Starliner Battleship... getting ready for demolition derby. Thanks for taking us along.
Grader: "there's a really hard one" (while hoping dad was gonna go handle it for him) Paul: "go work at it, you'll get it" THAT is how you raise kids that are self-sustaining, non-lazy, a person that wants to figure things out on their own, and future productive members of society. Good on you and Michelle for raising those youngins the way we were all raised and not like a namby pamby that most kids are raised to be nowadays.
Love Grandma Lolly. She was the SMART ONE..!! "I'm going home....." I was laughing so hard at Paul cleaning that car out........I was almost dry heaving with him..!! hahah
I love this channel! I always get a laugh. I wish I could have Hunter’s screaming when the mice are coming out of the boat as my ring tone on my phone. Thanks for the Sunday enjoyment.
First, the Hanta virus reference was hilarious and Paul should be proud he pulled that out of his hat and second, Grayden is soooo naturally funny. Great video guys
10:30 Face mask with Vick’s gel smeared inside it. That’s what got us through Katrina clean-up, and I used the same trick on cadaver searches with SAR.
Hah! In 1982, the first car I ever owned was a ‘72 Olds 98. Biggest, heaviest passenger car ever built, and ‘72 was the the longest of all the model years. At the time, my Dad figured that would help keep me safe. 😂❤
Great content! I've missed the longer videos, love seeing the whole family get in there and work! Brings back fun derby day memories for me as well! We have a local derby day as well once a year, small car derby, kids derby, and truck derby it's a blast! Lookin forward to watching
My dad just passed away fixing a 1960 military jeep up. No rust or dents. original everything. Ran when he parked it. Has Spicer transfer. Even u- joints was still good. He took body off and was going to paint frame and body. I wish I had the money to have yall restore that thing. My dad was like you all when it came to fabrication.
I can tell Paul is super excited to whack a hammer on an old beater and just get it to derby condition as opposed to having to be super neat and perfect with the wrecker. Glad to see ya'll having some fun!
Oh man Paul, I have never laughed so hard in any of your videos as in this one, that was great. Keep up the great work with the content ya'll put out, I love it all!
I’m glad you’re doing this. Watched demo derby on TV as a kid and now I get to see what goes into making a car. Seems like way back when, the favorite cars to start with were station wagons but not many around anymore.
Sort of got used to Michelle not regularly being in the vids (shame though), but not seeing Ben in one just feels weird now. Hope everyone is well and that Ben isn't suffering any ill effects from the Wrecker Games rollover.
I stopped in for a visit and to purchase some merch the other Friday when Paul and Hunter were backing that into the shop. Had a great visit with Grandma Lolly, checked out the FJ and Ratrod Wrecker (so awesome to see in person) and chatted with Paul for a few minutes. Such great people with an awesome channel full of amazing content. I want to bring my Jeep down and run Hog Canyon with you guys sometime.
Should have cleared it out outside! I learned that decades ago I got an old van, a non runner from a friend who was a farm lad. The van had stopped running and he just wanted rid, so I towed it to my factory yard opened all the doors and the bonnet, cleared the whole interior straight on to our big burn up cage, there were old Barber jackets wellington boots dead cats dead pigeons and a few dead pheasants sacking and other rubbish. Stink, it made me wretch. The intention was to scrap it but it looked so solid. I cleaned it serviced it and we used it for around 5 years daily without fault, passing every MOT every year, then my son had it for around 3 years, and even then it was still so good a pal bought it from me. A very good and capacious Morris Marina Van.
Looking forward to this build. Couldn’t handle that clean out though 🤢. Nasty? Disgusting! But amazing what you uncovered when all cleaned up. Let the fun begin!
AWWW YEAH! back to your roots! You gonna chain up the back? Man, that 98 had me reminiscing, Grandpa had a '69 Holiday with curb whiskers. Turd brown when it was washed. That maniac would take corners at-speed just to laugh as we tumbled back-and-forth in the back seat. The only time he would tone it down was when my kid sister fell asleep on the rear window deck. What a great way to grow up
Looking forward to see this build! Wondering how much money you would have been able to make back from all the good parts you took off this car: all the good windows, the dash (it didn’t look cracked), the front clip. Also, if I’m lucky and you read my comment, can you give us an update on how the Arbor Freight winch and synthetic cable held up? Merlin did a review of the damage on the towing equipment he used, and I found it very informative.
Ha Grandma Lolly said Paul was a stinky kid this stuff is priceless, the olds 88 will make a tough derby car look forward to build & hear the old derby motor roar, great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
Wow you talk about memories! Lol That was my first car almost exactly.! 😊 Only difference was mine set under a tree and somehow turned almost pink. Exact year everything! Man them was the good ol days!!
Wow my first car was a 1972 delta 98 . It was so big I think it had three doors on the side...lol My dad thought I needed a lot of metal around me for protection. I'm not sure that he realized it had a 454 big block...
455 in the Oldsmobile you had.. Chevy was 454,the 455 actually would out perform most 454's except the LS-6 454.. My buddy had a Olds Cutlass with a 455,I had a Charger with a 440 lets just say those cars for 16 year olds got us in a lot of trouble!! Late 1980's were fun as hell..
@@n6cid it’s weird to see you say that. I can remember when that Olds was new guys talking about how crappy they were compared to cars built in the 40’s and 50’s- back “when they really knew how to build cars “😂.
Grandma Lolly burnt Paul, the only thing she smelled worse than that was raising Paul. Great video, guys. Looking forward to the build and the derby.
Yes …. That’s funny’s
I laughed so hard. He didn't even reply. LOL. I love Grandma.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm sure grandma Lolly still has a big old 3" x 30" paddle hidden around the house to keep her boys respectful of each other.😅
@@orangepickel2 😂
Grandmas reaction " I am going home you can clean this shit up " perfectly said lol
I have a feeling it was not the first time she said that either 😅
I've smelled worse..made me laugh 😂
that magnificent old bag, what a gem. You can tell she's raised boys.
So supportive and grouchy at the same time. Every ounce of that woman is a Mom, what a grand lady.
You may run the competition off with the smell. 😂
I love when grandma Lolly is present! She is quite the trooper and doesn't mince any words. Everyone else is gagging and she just sticks her head in and checks it out. You guys are off to a great start. Can't wait to see this derby competition to the end. Thanks for sharing 👍
Gram- " I've smelled worse, I raised Paul"
Classic😅
Crazy how well built vehicles were back then. Legit tanks driving down the road!
I was in a head on collision when I was in my 20s, driving a 79 Ford LTD. I walked away from the accident without a scratch. The person that hit me was driving a later model Cadillac. Her ride was totaled and she left the scene in an ambulance. That LTD saved my bacon.
LOL...I had to rewind 4 times to listen to Hunter crammed up in that boat! An excellent Sunday morning laugh.😂😂
I'm a big fan. Never miss an episode. Great job guys. I love Grandma Lolly. She's a hoot.
Same here! Haven't missed an old derby nor Fabrats vid.
It`s cool how Graden likes to help and how Paul gives him stuff for his projects.
The first job I had was delivering groceries. My boss had a 73 Delta88 with a 455 in it. Every once in a while he would toss me the keys and tell me to blow the carbon out of it. What a blast.
You can easily see that Paul is happy to be getting back to what he loves doing best and that is building his demolition derby cars.
I agree view bro, Paul is looking Dandy and I see the boys are too.wish I had those family days boys, you will cherish every second of it when you grow older.don believe me now, that would be normal and we don't...

Now be nice to Mum,she terrified that something happens to either of you guys, that is a mum's thing 😮😂😅😮

Those were good old days! My Dad had a Delta 88. 455 motor. Tough Car. You guys had me in Tears from Laughing!
“I’ve smelled worse, raising Paul”!!! Hilarious dig grandma!
Paul is gagging like he is going to pass out. Grandma Lolly just takes a sniff and doesn't even act phased. Love it!
The Rat Wrecker makes a nice addition to your yard. If nothing else, you proved you can take things apart. This should be a good build.
Looks like the boys have just as much fun helping you as you do making them cars run thanks for letting me watch.
Just be thankful that whatever made the hole in the back panel wasn't in the trunk to greet you! LOL Love the destruct days.
When cars were cars. Thank you guys. You get more entertaining by the minute.
Paul your mom is a trooper, straight faced stated she has smelled worse.
Have a good week and count your blessings amen.
Yippee! another build! I just hope you and Matt remember all your tricks for building them. Thanks for the video.
It’s amazing how tough that glass was.
“I smelled worse- raisin’ Paul”
😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂😂
10:50 “I’ve smelled worse, raising Paul.” 🤣😂🤣 Grandma the GOAT 🤪❤️😁
You guys need a “Bio Hazard” sticker for your shop vac. You beat on that thing like a rented mule.

OMG ! I can imagine the Stench ! When are you going to work on Michell's Jeepster ? Thanks for sharing !
The boat mouse scene was definitely hilarious!
I love this channel! I always get a laugh. I wish I could have Hunter’s screaming when the mice are coming out of the boat as my ring tone on my phone. Thanks for the Sunday enjoyment.
Great idea. Hunter’s definitely mis-named after that day though.
I think you should invite Merlin "The King Of Wrecker Games" to the derby lol!
19:48 Was that Graydon laughing at dad's sure-footed dash removal? 😅😂
Yea! Glad to hear you four have some challengers...instead of knocking each other out. This derby team should be called "The Legends"

Yeah, you could tell they were tasting that smell in there
Excellent Idea “Derby Time”💛💛💛 Fab Rats Style ✌️
I'm excited about this build!! Looking forward to more. Thanks y'all, love it!
Oh man, the memories, had a 1974 olds 98 for a few years. Some cold mornings it was the only car that would start. Should be a great derby beast.
Thank you for your time and effort . I'm a big fan. Never miss an episode Looking forward to the build and the derby.
I’m glad you’re doing this. Watched demo derby on TV as a kid and now I get to see what goes into making a car. Seems like way back when, the favorite cars to start with were station wagons but not many around anymore.
One of my favorite videos so far!!!!! I've been wanting a Derby build video since you started this channel! Thank you!!!!!
I had a ‘73 Delta 88 with the 455 in it when I was in high school. It was a tank.
Paul, having Grandpa Sherm’s tow rig seems like a great tool for the rat garage! Not just for wrecker games anymore.
Hello from beautiful NC. Thanks for sharing.
Sort of got used to Michelle not regularly being in the vids (shame though), but not seeing Ben in one just feels weird now. Hope everyone is well and that Ben isn't suffering any ill effects from the Wrecker Games rollover.
Believe Ben only works 4 days week. Goes home for Fri/Sat/Sun.
The Rat Rod Wrecker looks so awesome. Love it.
Paul that was funny when you're mom asked is someone missing a relative. Looking at her face it was like she found someone
I stopped in for a visit and to purchase some merch the other Friday when Paul and Hunter were backing that into the shop. "is there anyone missing a relative?" LOL
NOW we know where Paul gets his humor 🤣
Awesome. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work Rats. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
I can’t wait for the coming videos on this build 🏁🏁 FAB RATS FOREVER 🏁
out of that entire video the part that tore it for me was when Paul said "Still not broke" when he threw that rear window
Great video! Grandma is so funny! Cool build!
Looking forward to yet another great build Paul, I'm keen to see what goes into these derby car builds.
I’m the same. That what I love about these guys, they literally show every step of the process

Wreckers are fun, rock crawlers are awesome, but derby cars are exactly what I wanna see!!!
Looking forward to this build. Couldn’t handle that clean out though 🤢. Nasty? Disgusting! But amazing what you uncovered when all cleaned up. Let the fun begin!
Tearing stuff up. That's the way to do it. Gonna be a great project to watch come together.
Fab Rats is the best, because Paul is like a kid having fun when he's doing a project. I'm always laughing!
AWWW YEAH! back to your roots! You gonna chain up the back?

I have bins of parts that sat on ebay for years that I pulled from cars. Most ended up being scrapped anyway. And shipping glass is a P.I.T.A.
"Clyde, scrap the caddy" is what this episode reminded me of!
Grandma ..... "I've smelled worse..... raising Paul." Grandma FTW lol
Ha Grandma Lolly said Paul was a stinky kid this stuff is priceless, the olds 88 will make a tough derby car look forward to build & hear the old derby motor roar, great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
I think you need to turn Hunter's mouse screams into a Fab Rats ring tone...D'oh! 😉
Definitely going to be fun to watch this build. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
"I'm goin' home.... you can clean that $4!T up by yourself". 🤣🤣🤣
It is fun to see you going back to your roots fixing up a derby car.
Does Paul hate Fords that bad that he has to forge the river?🤣🤣
Wow you talk about memories! Lol That was my first car almost exactly.! 😊 Only difference was mine set under a tree and somehow turned almost pink. Exact year everything! Man them was the good ol days!!
Grandma is a trooper I'm over here gagging and she comparing the smell to Paul's baby bum 😂
..hahahahaha....I just forgot about Hunter's "Mice in the boat" moment. lol lol. love it lol
Glad I don't have Smell-O-Vision!
Gag a maggot. Haven’t heard that line in forever. Love your videos. Really enjoy seeing how you let the boys in on the fun.
