Brings back loads of memories! My late husband was into derbies for years. The 3 oldest kids drove too. Even though he had muscular dystrophy it didn't stop him but it gave us some scary moments when his disability hindered him from getting out of a car quickly.
Love split screen, clean funny shop banter, all family job, Landon coming back during school day for 3 minute looky loo during school day, church day family fun = spectacular!!!
WOW!! You guys got a lot done!! Never hurts to have some extra help. Sean is pitching in and Ben is back plus your sons are pitching in and doing a lot of the work too!! It's great to see all the family together and working on a project!
It was awesome seeing you guys and the car at the derby. All my daughter talked about all week was seeing and meeting Paul, Ben, and Hunter. She still says her favorite part of the fair and derby was saying hi to Paul and seeing Ben. She was sad she didn't get to see Hunter but maybe another time.
My husband & I love starting our Sundays off with ice coffee & fabrats! But that's not all I've noticed on several other videos that Jace looks like he might have a touch of scoliosis and the reason I was able to point this out is because I have scoliosis myself I have 2 Harrington rods holding my spine in place so if I can save another child from going through that I will and that's the only reason I'm saying something you already might know he already maybe being treated for it but I saw it and I love you guys and I just wanted to make sure I said something we love you fabrats!!!!

I love the family environment seeing everyone involved and interacting having fun together that is what family. I consider you guys my extended family I really. All Grandma was doing was giving guidance and helping with creativity plus it would add to the video which is a great thing. I am really enjoying the derby builds I am looking forward to seeing this derby event happen having both Paul and Matt come out of retirement for one derby you know it will be fun. The videos will be fun to watch my first time seeing Paul and Matt actually derby.
Can we just give a shout out to the editors? Ive tried editing videos for a minute and it is WORK! The time it takes to edit hurts your brain from all the minute cuts and moving graphics and placing soundtracks and making sure it tells a story that makes sense from rando SD cards not to mention 40 min of making sense! ahhhghhhh! Keep up the good work we appreciate yall!
We had a couple guys come to our local derbies and just destroy everyone. They did it in 2 or 3 consecutive derbies. Their were using the same cars for each derby and they were holding up unbelievably well. Come to find out they were filling their frames with concrete. We had some upset derby contestants!
How many people click the like button before they watch the video? All I need to do is watch the introduction, and I feel the need to click the like. :) Without the piece of pipe inside I boxed a set of fox body mustang rear control arms like they did the ones in the derby car, and installed poly bushings in them. It made the car launch much better, :)
My 6.2 used to pop-out of geat too... then I adjusted the shifter... The square bodies are GREAT and all their problem are KNOWN... so you get a GREAT vehicle that'll last for dang near ever... But you DO Need to adjust things regularly...
I have two, number one is obvious that Robbie Layton doesn’t have nearly the resources an experience that you have. But he is a contender. Number two you need to make another trip to Florida to find out what a lot of water is.
Guess the rollback is outta order. my first thought when they first seen the axle was they should just grab the rollback since its there and use that to get the axle onto the truck. can't wait till next week to see this thing rolling and the derby videos

Best Babysitters around. I got an 18 month boy that seems to go into catatonic mode. When this comes on there is no world or anybody in it anymore. Sits and stares with a wrench and scraper.
Hunter is getting a great education. There's nothing like being the youngest guy on the team. Yeah you catch a lot of crap but you also absorb knowledge. Some lessons are hard but having guys around who really care about you to help you learn means they wont let you get hurt too bad.

Hunter should wear a tool belt that holds a hammer, tape measure and sharpies so he can just hand them to the guys when they need them

For those compound angles on square tube, use strips of plywood the width of the angle for templating. Use one strip for each side, one at a time.

It's amazing what goes into a derby car. I kind of miss the simple derby days of folks running minimally prepped cars.
Soda bottles recycle. The 2 liter bottles make nice water rockets, when used with a bicycle tire pump.
