That was a lot of fun to watch, feel free to load more of that stuff, please! You can definitely see Paul’s personality change when he gets ready to do something fast or crazy. Its like a precursor to awesomeness.
His cousin Merlon is the same way. Honestly, with the drop of the hat "i heard about a mower race" of Graydor and Paul's older kids already doing demo derby... pretty safe to say it's a family trait. 😂
Definitely agree with you i miss their ez does it youtube videos it was great to watch I'm glad they include some derby stuff on their fab rats channel though.
This was a really fun series. I knew there were hard core Derby teams out there. But, had no idea what all went into a derby car. Thanks for taking us along!
I was waiting all week for this video to post. So much fun to watch. Hope you do it again. I can see Merlin downloading the rule book now trying to figure out if a 12 valve cummins is allowed.
lol, probably wouldn't even need a transmission as such with that just bolt it direct to the drive shaft and mod it to run in reverse when you want that lol (this is not a serious suggestion)
I thought Robbie was new to this? He's out there driving like a derby assassin! Team TH-cam! Hell of a show! Big thanks from all those viewers for taking us along!
Man that looks like so much fun! Love that FabRats sticker. Robby did an awesome job with his paint job. I may have to find a derby event and check it out.
Love all the fab rats content! The Cox family of characters Paul is the badass, Michelle's the eye candy, the kids are the hope for the future, Ben is just plain awesome, Hunter is the great comedic foil, and Sean is new.
Haven't seen Rudy's video yet but so far this is by far my favorite. Great video mix of showing the teams, describing the derby inspections and such, showing the mad dog judging, the action, of course, and then I particularly liked the voice over during the action. Fantastic work on the editing!
Brings back memories of when I use to run. Your all dirty, sweaty and talking to everyone afterwards and the pain and fatigue of it all starts setting in. Kinda miss it and kinda don't. Hut did make a lot of friends along the way.
I enjoyed this more than anything else you had so far. Don't let a tranny spoil your thunder Paul. The way every family got together to build the cars and the joy you all had getting the car to the arena was contagions. You are good at this and the fun you 4 channels had building and taking part in the event showed big time. Congrats on the WIN. Please do more Derby content.

You all had me laughing the whole time! That would have been awesome to watch in person. Excellent job team TH-cam. Thank you for sharing the experience with us
Thanks for giving me some Luv and Facetime on your channel announcing your Heat! SO MUCH FUN! We always bet on Paul to create a rollover within 60 seconds in a Truck Heat!
That blasted transmission. Paul I believe you have been cursed by the transmission Princess. I’m glad you enjoyed the experience and was a member of the winning team.
Glad to see all those fabricating skills worked well not letting the Fabrats car taco up in the Derby! Absolutely enjoyed the change of pace glad no one got hurt and hope Gumby is feeling better now
Paul wearing a yellow shirt was genius, he could be spotted from a mile away,😉👍, I never realized how much I identified him with that wielding jacket, until a few videos ago, great video guys, and thanks for sharing.
Such an awesome event; you could sense the excitement, the competitive spirit of all involved; yet the level of respect and friendship among the players was profound! Truly an all American Sport! Thank you FabRats for bringing it!
Yes, this was fun to watch. Michelle did a thrilling job of stitching this video into a real show. It is harder for the racing fuel to show its stuff without tranny fluid to push Paul back and forth!
That was amazing to watch I'm sure better in person. Wow so many memories of watching my late husband& the 3 oldest kids derby. Thanks for sharing these good times with us.
Congratulations guys!!!! So awesome to see you derby again, you look so happy after, even if your stuff breaks, you seem happy! I've always been told, if something makes you happy, even when you break or lose, it's your calling!!!! Awesome video!!!!!
No man this was freaking awesome man I mean flat freaking awesome. Please Paul keep doing it brother. You Matt,Robby and Rudy. Thankyou for bringing us all alone. I love your channel but brother this bro this is the real deal.
Could immediately tell that you didn't have reverse. You are such a dominator when you're chasing and smacking everybody by going in reverse. Would love to see a rematch.
You can say it any way you want to but that hard of a hit on your teammate was uncalled for. I watch all of yall and enjoy all of it. Hope yall keep having fun.
good morning Paul I have been waiting on the videos from you guys there are videos online but I am only going to watch the videos by you, Matt, Robby and Rudy. I knew you guys would win I can tell you had fun.
little late but I remember being in middle school watching ez duz it racing in class around 2014/15 wishing i could derby and well here we are 2023 and started running thank you paul cox for making me love derbys
Now you know how a sandbagger😮 feels just sitting in the corner not that your one don't misunderstand love watching you demo was sad to see you put out that way again lol
Things have changed so much since the 80s. We could never have leaded the bumper or built cages like this. We took out the windows, lights, and anything that could fly off and chained the doors shut. This is crazy. I suppose it's safer and makes them last longer.
lot more 🐎 power now days. they still have bone stock Chain it and Bang it classes out there. my local fair is all that old school bone stock caddy's and Continentals
@@vanashke001 we're in the same boat, I haven't drove in a Derby in over 20years! You guys definitely should do an event like the tow truck Olympics but with demo derby cars where just you all are involved. You could see if any of the other friends on TH-cam would wanna get involved too of course, and maybe having a bit more build time would make it an even better show
I don't know about the transmission guy that said: SEND IT- IT'S FINE when you told him it's not doing right, and leaking. Seems Paul knows more than the supposedly transmission professional. Totally screwed you in that derby! That looked Fun though!!!!
demolition derby really has changed a lot when i was in my 20's all we did was welded up the doors, take out all glass and added a simple roll bar the hits where mostly going in reverse, my cars of choice was 66 dodge monaco with a 383 magnum in it , or a 67 belair station wagon with a 396 in it, we smashed those cars on the track only not in the shop
Paul you did a Awesome job and y'all did. And Paul when Robby does his derby thing you need too get your cousins invited them and I think it will be cool seeing y'all together and as well as Rory too
Y'all, I have had so much fun watching this series of vids on everyone's channels. I know nothing about derby, so it's been an education. Hope you guys do it again!
Just received my t-shirt and hoodies and couldn't say enough about the quality . You guys do an amazing job with the videos and merchandise thank you all for the enjoyment you bring to me.

Yes both MORR on Matt and Paul "experienced" in demo come into an event already disabled (motor & transmission also) and act like they could win. Lol looks like they got scared, just a couple of lame ducks.
Great Show Guys , That never fails losing reverse ,I had an old diplomat once took a hit from the rear and front at the same time I bent like a taco , Couldn`t even watch the show LOL.

Nice to see John C Riley out there sporting the wonder bread! Shake N Bake! 😂
Paul you're always a happy guy but I love to see the big smile you are having a great time
People living life to it's fullest. I love this channel.
I have had the same luck with transmissions. Built by professionals too. But due to health issues I cant do much now.

I've been avoiding all other TH-cam videos about thos derby, waiting for you four to post their videos!

Best one yet
Awesome, glad you guys won. This whole team is the only channels I watch. Way to go. Felt like I was part of the family there for a minute.
Paul brings a top fuel race car to a demo derby. Same as his 600 horse power wood truck. Love it.
Paul made it to the derby but barely at least his car ran for awhile and that's what counts. Fabrats helped get recognition for the derby guy's.
