Thought you might like to know that Katie, from Royalty Soaps, posted a video today in which she used your cake scraper idea for the first time and told all her viewers about your amazing talent and posted a link to your channel. I also ordered the Wilton icing scraper set a few days ago and I am so looking forward to trying that creative technique on my homemade soaps.

I have an entire batch of Love Spell bars that I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with. I cut them but didn’t like the size. So I’ve been using them as samples.

Yes. I use a steep water discount. It allows for sooner cutting :)
Hi Ophelia, you inspire me to do that moons project. I recently bought the column mold with the shape of the Moon and I want to ask you how long should I leave the mixture before unmolding it and placing it in the other mold? Should I leave it 24 Hours? Thanks, I need that guidance. Blessings 🤗
I let mine harden for 24 hours in the mold :)

You’re welcome! If your soaps usually take 24-48 hours to unmold then I would wait longer. Just depends on your recipe and how long it takes for your soap to get hard :)
Anyone else catch the bat on the moon at 9:13?
Beautiful soap as always. I shy away from dark colors though because when I had my business, people complained that the colors come off on their washcloths or make colored lather. I have never seen this discussed and have seen lots of soapmakers making dark soaps. Is this a problem for you or am I the only soapmaker that has this issue?
I’ve never had any complaints. Colored lather doesn’t bother me 😬
@@OpheliasSoapery It doesn't bother me either, but I never quit knew what to say when people complained, as I don't know any way around it. This is a beautiful soap and perhaps I should give dark colors another whirl.

Why only 6 hours this time? Isn’t it usually 18-24?
It really depends on what time I make my soap. I use a steep water discount and can cut any of my soaps in around 6 hours. This one I had made so early in the day I was able to cut it sooner.
