Let's face it: You make the prettiest soaps on TH-cam! I've checked out quite a few soap makers' channels, and yours is the one where things look *right* for me. There's lots of satisfying eyecandy, there's always something new to learn, and you're kind to my ears, too: I love listening to British English and you use music which isn't like acoustic sandpaper. Now I only wish there was an 'activate scent' option for TH-cam. I wonder what the fragrance smells like!

@Rachel Davidson no , you have to get individual recipes approved which is expensive. She’s learning how to add lots of different things to soap eg fruits, natural colours etc but you can’t sell them unless you have passed a cosmetic safety assessment for each product ( you can have a few variations per recipe eg scent and colour) ,
I could never move to where you are because I couldn’t handle all the regulations you have to deal with. I am so impressed with you. As a newish soap maker , watching your videos are such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your craft!

Lisa, you made this so easy with layers, super cool! It can get a bit much when your buying all the scrappers, making soap dough, buying the extruder and disc's, etc. For a newly getting started soaper it is and can be expensive! So this is a brilliant video showing you can save a bit of money by simply layering your soap correctly. Your just buying a simple moon shaped mold! I think this is an excellent video on how to get started with landscape soaps, and you really did make it easy to follow. Congrats on being such a good teacher. Because I genuinely believe you are. Beautiful as always. I especially loved the water. Btw when I first saw the design, I thought that you will make a moon embed, chop a piece of it and CARVE the trees. Haha. Because you do carve sometimes.
This is my favourite soap channel... so inspirational! How do you get the different layers to "stick" together... sometimes with layered soaps, when I make the cut, the soap splits in half between different pours 😵
Hmm it shouldn't split apart unless you are leaving it a really long time before pouring the next layer. Mica lines can cause this and melt and pour can split easily

This is my favourite soap channel... so inspirational! How do you get the different layers to "stick" together... sometimes with layered soaps, when I make the cut, the soap splits in half between different pours 😵
Hmm it shouldn't split apart unless you are leaving it a really long time before pouring the next layer. Mica lines can cause this and melt and pour can split easily
