I am a designer and one of the first things I was taught is that odd numbers are far more interesting to the eye than even numbers. I always design in 3’s, 5’s and 7’s.
Oh my gosh. The first batch was pretty but the second batch, STUNNING!! 😍😍 I love that top and the swirl is beautiful!! Love the color combo too. 😍 much love to you!
I love how you experiment with techniques and show us the results, it's great because it really makes you think about soap and how it behaves and reacts
Thank you Emily! You can use that trick to divide anything into equal parts. If something is 6.375 inches and you want to divide it into 3 equal parts, use centimeters (because they are smaller increments), pick a number that is divisible by 3 that is just a bit bigger than 6.375 inches. If it is 24 cm, slant the ruler and divide by 3 and mark every 8 cm.
@@TreeMarieSoapworks hahahhaa my eyes glazed over and I thought "magical math mumbo jumbo" then I watch the beauty happening and think "ahhhh artistry" LOLOLOL I have a lot of respect for artists who choose a medium that requires weights, measurements, temperature, and timing. I want to try the teardrop technique, but I did not dare yet. I've been watching your video every day before bedtime for three weeks. I appreciate you taking the time to share these videos and share them for free. I think I should make the right teardrop before the technique in this video, but these leaves were great too. Thank you so much.
Exceptional, professional educational teaching soap making video. Video visuals were extraordinary. Voice explanations, tips and tricks were very helpful. Wonderfully well done. Inspirational. Mucho Gracias
Oh my gosh, this episode was so validating. I've been soap making for about two years now, and I recently started trying to build a recipe from scratch. After researching a TON of oils and fatty acid properties, I decided on Olive, Coconut, Palm (sustainable of course), Castor, Avocado, and, you guessed it, Cocoa Butter! As you were adding your oils I was like, oh my gosh, I'm on the right track! My percentages are slightly different because I have really dry skin in the winter, so I like a bit more conditioning, but this made me really happy seeing a professional soap maker choose the same oils!
Good to hear! If you like that formula, try the Honey Video recipe. That recipe is my favorite right now! It has an abundant creamy lather. th-cam.com/video/eGA3OmG7c3Y/w-d-xo.html
You did a wonderful job on those. I really like the simple black and white. Very elegant. I loved the step by step that you took us through as well. Thank you for sharing.

@@TreeMarieSoapworks A fall collab. Everyone is going to be making soap for the fall anyway so I thought it would be appropriate. SO there is plenty of time. I can go more into detail in an email though. If not, there will be another one after this one. Keep it in mind.

@@TreeMarieSoapworks Thanks for the inspiration. I have just made a soap using this pattern. It didn't workout quite how I had expected as my fragrance discoloured my mixture but love the design in general. Thoroughly enjoyed this video, as well as all the others you've made. This feather technique is achieved differently than I had imagined. Can't wait to try it and hope to tune in to your tutorial on the soap challenge. Keep the videos going please.
Hi! :D I know, creators always wonder how people got to their videos. So here it goes: I watched Sophia Nygaard's newest video. And at the end of that video was a Royalty Soaps reaction video to viral soap hacks (Big warning against using cinnamon in soap!). I then fell down a rabbit hole of her videos *guilty face*. And now I'm here! Also, I saw your profile picture, and it reminded me so much of Royal Copenhagen's porcelain (especially their 'mega'), that I just had to find the video of how you made those. That this is the exact video in which you thank Katie for her shout-out, just ties the whole thing together xD Big thumbs up to yt creators who take their description box seriously!
I really look forward to your videos. You're a great teacher! This method is way, waaaay above my skill level, but hopefully someday I'll feel confident enough to give it a try. Thank you so much for these excellent videos!
Wonderful you're such a talented soapmaker thanks for sharing how you made it with us I love it ❤️👍🏻 I voted for the more complicated hearts but actually I really love both of them 😁
Everthing was so neat and thanks for sharing those tips like keeping those two wires down there and pull it up after all pouring done. Thank you so much . Love to see your next video. By the way you have beautiful voice😍
I am a real newbie in this soaping business (have actually only made 4 batches, and got the bug!) I love your channel because every time you show us another creative technique. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I think this feather/leaves design is just lovely and I do like both tops, I would just make more of the little hearts if I was making that particular design (I know you run out of batter) Regards
I’m going to try this technique with pound cake, using chocolate for the colored part! I think that would be beautiful! Hope it turns out like your beautiful soap!
Thanks for another great video, your videos are always so beautiful and the commentary so helpful and interesting. Like another person said, I had always wondered about the angled ruler, not you explain it makes perfect sense. Always excited to see a new Video from you
