*10th century Kashmiri philosopher Abhinavagupta’s description of Kashmir:*
Where people normally are poetic and wise,
      Where even warriors are articulate,
Women of cities are lustrous as the moon
      And charming in their gait,
Where accomplished female practitioners of yoga are
Bright as the spark of fire
Particularly due to the complete opening
of the path of the _shushumna_ nerve in them
they are also lustrous as the sky
in the state of the lunar eclipse
Where the wine known as _madrika_
Brings maturity in the talk of love of lovers
In which part of the world people get engaged
Confidently and unobstructed in the fare of love
      Where the Gods take interest
in remaining engaged in the delight of the chakras
and where departs the joy of life
      and blessedness of liberation
      where contemplative practitioners of yoga,
      munis dwell at various spots
And where does Shiva dwell himself all the time.
      I therefore consider Kashmir
As the proper place of yogic accomplishments _Siddhi_
there is no place on the whole of this earth
Which may compare with Kashmir in this respect
Nor in the respect of contentment
      or fulfilment of all aspirations.

Palki Sharma, I always enjoy your detailed analyses of many issues, the Kashmir question being one of them. I grew up in Pakistan and always got a one sided opinion of what actually happened with the fate of Kashmir post partition. I lived through the India - Pakistan war of 1965, it was fought over Kashmir. I was only 9 years old, it was terribly traumatic. Once again, Ms. Sharma, thank you for your great insight, I continue to be impressed.

@@archana2744 it's extremely one sided like the commenter said. India is always painter as an evil force who want to "steal" Kashmir and only want harm in Kashmir. Pakistanis always talk about freedom of Kashmir but the ironic part is that freedom for them means Kashmir being part of Pakistan. I never understood this as a kid but now I'm growing older I'm starting to realize that every conflict has two sides and it's extremely complicated and you can't just pick a side just like that.

@Bedrock Blocks Your response has no relevance to the subject or my comments hence not mandating a response from me. Such emotional reactions are natural when u stand on baseless grounds and don't find any counter argument to defend them.

    • @hussainbukhari9334
      @hussainbukhari9334 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@Bedrock Blocks you really are adamant in starting a debate on another subject just because you couldn't refute my comments and reality shattered your false pretense of righteousness.
Fine, on the other subject, let me give you a short and decisive answer. Yes Pakistan is much better than India because it doesn't commit humanitarian crimes unlike India, who is responsible for state sponsored terrorism and human rights mutilation in Jammu & Kashmir, who elected a right winged Hindu fascist regime responsible for the brutal Muslim massacre in gujarat. Where religious discrimination is on the rise despite false pretense of modernism and democracy, where voices raised against the govt are silenced, social media accounts censored, where covid wreaked havoc and people died of oxygen shortages and we witnessed heart breaking tragedies O2 generators had to be flown in, inadequate supplies of medical grade oxygen resulted in black fungus pandemic adding to unimaginable sufferings, despite claims of being the largest vaccine producer, supplies went bust even for its own population, vaccine manufacturer fled the country fearing his safety.
In short, despite all your claims of advancement, life of a common Indian is still subject to poverty, lack of healthcare and social and economic inequalities. Where women are gangraped in buses, what else can one write or say, I content myself with what's been said.
Recalibrate your sense of achievements, humanity first and rest later.

    • @hussainbukhari9334
      @hussainbukhari9334 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@Bedrock Blocks I have to keep coming back to answer your comments, which is a sheer waste of time. This discussion is not going anywhere. Following are the conclusive points, I know you don't have a heart big enough to accept the truth, rather you attempt to escape answering it by picking up irrelevant subjects. This conclusive note is only for those who value the truth and have hearts open enough to embrace it.
      1. You consistently avoided answering all arguments related to kashmir, the subject of this video, which in itself is the evidence that facts presented in my comments in contrast to what's been portrayed here are a reality that cannot be countered.
      2. Revisit my earlier comments, you didn't answer many points and just focused on gujarat. Guess you couldn't come up with any answers.
      3. You admit or not with regards to oxygen shortage, this very channel has been raising voice on the subject, just watch their previous videos. You can also find videos of foreign donated O2 generators landing at Indian airports.
      3. As for gujarat, it needs further investigation, as the oppressed minority initiating attacks on the oppressive majority defies common sense.
      4. Your biased and derogatory style of writing, speaks of no one else but you, grow out of your complexes and hatred towards Pakistan if you can, or live with it, your choice.
      5. As for us, we don't hate Indians or Hindus, we ruled them for centuries and were kind to them even when they were our subjects. It's just the tyrant Conservative and intolerant mentality of certain extremist Hindu factions that we criticise, and rightly so. We will continue to take up a clear stance against all tyrants and oppressive regimes or groups regardless of where they originate from.
      6. Last but not the least, instead of boasting about things and showing off, which demonstrates a need to improve and mature in character and intellect, try focusing on discovering the truth and appreciating it. Get some grip on things in your country and try to serve and improve the living standard of masses who are living below the line of poverty and suffering everyday under social, economic and healthcare disparities.
      All the best.

10th century Kashmiri philosopher Abhinavagupta’sthus described Kashmir:
Where people normally are poetic and wise,
      Where even warriors are articulate,
Women of cities are lustrous as the moon
      And charming in their gait,
Where accomplished female practitioners of yoga are
Bright as the spark of fire
Particularly due to the complete opening
of the path of the shushumna nerve in them
they are also lustrous as the sky
in the state of the lunar eclipse
Where the wine known as madrika
Brings maturity in the talk of love of lovers
In which part of the world people get engaged
Confidently and unobstructed in the fare of love
      Where the Gods take interest
in remaining engaged in the delight of the chakras
and where departs the joy of life
      and blessedness of liberation
      where contemplative practitioners of yoga,
      Munis dwell at various spots
And where does Shiva dwell himself all the time.
      I therefore consider Kashmir
As the proper place of yogic accomplishments Siddhi
there is no place on the whole of this earth
Which may compare with Kashmir in this respect
Nor in the respect of contentment
      or fulfilment of all aspirations.

Nehru let China capture a part of Himalayas, allowed China to win the 1962 war by supplying Indian army with no weapons and pushed J&K issue to UN, despite strong opposition from Sardar Patel and his cabinet ministers. @Jio Boy Sardar Patel should have become the PM in 1947 itself. He would have been a great PM and even the people loved him, just like they loved Bose. Shastri too was a great PM and an excellent Revolutionary, no wonder the Nehru clan got him out of the way by siding with the KGB.
