'valley') of Khumm, located near the then settlement of al-Juhfa on the path between Mecca and Medina, where Muhammad halted the large caravan of Muslims who had accompanied him in the Farewell Pilgrimage, his only Hajj ritual.
In the sermon, made shortly before his death in June 632, Muhammad made a declaration in favor of Ali ibn Abi Talib, his cousin and son-in-law, by saying: "He whose mawla I am, Ali is his mawla" (Arabic: من كنت مولاه فهذا على مولاه). Mawla (Arabic: مولاه) is a polysemous Arabic word, which can mean 'patron', 'master', 'leader', or 'friend', depending on its context. Shi'a Muslims believe this sermon to be a clear designation of Ali to lead the Muslim community after Muhammad and celebrate the anniversary of the event as Eid al-Ghadir. The Sunni community meanwhile regards the declaration as a simple affirmation of Muhammad's esteem for Ali.

If we dive deeply into it, we will clearly see that Ali (A.S) was a real companion of Muhammad SAW. Ali was one of the commander in all the wars Muhammad SAW had fought. During his (Muhammad SAW), in a speech clearly tells the people of Makkah that whoever believes and accepts me as a leader, Ali AS is their leader too. A lot of other places and events had taken places where a person can clearly says that Ali AS was the only and true companion after Muhammad SAW. Even the people of Makkah realized it after 30 years and they all came to Ali AS place and accepted his leadership. Thank you!

She had some major facts wrong, Prophet had declared his successor before he left the world after his final pilgrimage in the Gadeer e Khum, and multiple times in his life, any chance he had he would mention that Ali is my brother, my successor and the leader of Muslim umma after me
But when Prophet was on his death bed, some companions showed their true colors and they didn't let him write his will, when Prophet left the world they fled and obtained the owth of aligence from certain tribes, instead of burying the Prophet or taking part in funeral
The Prophet left unburied for three day and finally the family and a few close friends buried him

You know which other religions are monotheistic? - Sikhism (Guru Granth Sahib Ji 1), Bhagvad religion (Bhagwad Geeta 7.20) and even Hinduism if considered in its religion form (Rigved 1.164.46).
