@@PlasmaSnake369That is what you think, i have the case now for 3 months I barely see dust inside the case. Maybe over a year it might become more but for 6-12 months there is barely any dust at all. Also I have my case on a table and not on the floor and I painted wood and put it underneath to elevate the case for even more airflow(its used wood I found in the field).
They did a lot of things right with this case. The screw holes on the top being too large is strange, but the airflow really does look good. With a larger CPU heatsink (like a 4 heatpipe tower), it could definitely hold a 5600X to nice temps. One of the best budget cases, I would say. Thumbs up.
my 5600x with that slim little stock cooler in a msi gungnir 110m with stock fans didn't go over 60C hotspot. ever. that is hotspot cpu temp. and gungnir 110m is not an expensive case, less then 100$, shipping, import tax and 4 fans included. besides, montech does not ship to my country and no regional reselers exist for them. if i was ever excluding all other options then them, i would still go for their x3 just because i could overpressure the heck out of it with triple 14cm fans up front. it is a fairly large box but, damn that must feel like a hurricane when it starts. put some arctic p14 or kaze flex 140 and just wait for liftoff.
Can confirm that the airflow is fantastic. I run a Ryzen 7 5700G overclocked at 4.3Ghz, and it never goes above 70C. Recently upgraded my CPU cooler as well and the temps are even better. It's a fantastic case, especially for the price. For comparison, with my old case's poor airflow, the temps would regularly reach 85-90C.
I'd much rather see a tower cooler used in a budget case review, especially in a smaller case like this. They're cheap enough to be a common thing in budget cases, and the bulk of the HS could potentially affect fitment and temps.
Thank you so much for using Borderlands 3 in the testing! I personally think its a great game for testing. Also, great job on the build as always, and ill be waiting for the next one. Keep up the great work!
Hey I recently finished a build with this but I can’t get the argb to work, it just won’t light up. I connected the argb input wire to the jrainbow1 header on my B550 pro vdh Wi-Fi motherboard but it won’t work. Any tips??
what is the point of reviewing a budget case and then changing the case fans at all, never mind to premium ones, and then you test the case cooling. and what we're really interested in is how the cables fit on to the motherboard and that bit you go super fst forward on so we can't see
can't find this case anywhere other than the lite model and even the link in the video description is for an ATX mid-tower by montech can anyone find the original with the pre-installed fans?
Those were some great "CLICKS!" installing the RAM. As far as the case, after your review I am looking at it for my girlfriends build when I get around to it.
You review a budget build pc, then rip out all the included fans, and don't use the included controller, put a brand new mobo with its own controller, and separately purchased fans. You are not representing the people who would actually buy this case. Should have built the system as a budget minded person, using the fans and controller that came with it, tested out the lights and the controller provided with the case. I would have liked to see what the argb controller included is capable of.
It's ARGB so you can set it in whatever the software is for your motherboard. I had the same question actually...haha...you just hit the reset button on the case and it will use whatever software you are using for the ARGB. I was scratching my head trying to figure that out and I thought I didn't connect something correctly on on the MB.
I’m about to cry cause this is better than my 100 dollar case 😭
I know right!
It doesn't look like it has much in the way of dust protection though, I mean just when I look at it on the internet

I spent a ton of time looking for a matx case like this. Found one that's on sale in microcenter. Buying it now! Thanks for the recommendation!!
all good? easy setup?
For those wondering, the case can actually fit a 360mm aio in the front. I tried it with my nzxt x73 and it has just enough room to fit it in.

Just picked up one of these in Taiwan...man it's fantastic and I'm surprised they haven't put the price up. Solid deal.
Can you change the color of the stock rgb fans that come with it?
@@SheLuvzFear Yeah, you can use the switch on the case to change it to preconfigured colors or control it through the board with ARBG.

@@RobeytechLive hey Robytech, how many cases does it come with?
Are the pre-built fans any good?
Would totally use that case in a build!
Outside of the potential screw issue it really is an easy case to build in.
I want you to do a build on a MONTECH AIR 903 MAX. The best value for money box of 2023. Thank you
All good but if I wanted to see the stock fans performance
Why did you change the fans ?
Lian Li Dynamix XL looks great, but building a computer with 10 fans on this case is a pain in the a**
VERY true!
I love Robey.. thank for da information.
My pleasure
I just got this case, I'm just a bit lost on the connections. I didn't see a "pwr sw" only "reset sw qs".
Every time a new build made interesting on your channel .....bell button "All" done
How do you control the rgb?
There's a button on the top case
Awesome build 👍
Glad you like it
If HDD tray removed, could we instal 18 cm PSU on it?
hi, can i fit a 240mm radiator with fans on the top of this case with enough clearance for two argb ram sticks?
got this for $45 here in the Philippines (Lazada)

Hey, i have a question if you don't mind
CH370 vs Montech Air 100? (If CH370 which fan cases should i pick on a budget)
My 7 year old daughters pc we built together has the same specs, except the Vision gpu card. Very nice
You missed the 280mm top mount
Got the lite version on sale for 40 bucks and I'll be picking up an Arctic P12 value pack for 30 dollars. Not bad at all
I bought mine yesterday from Amazon for $66. Where did you get yours for $40?
Robey
Why do you not do paint jobs on you builds?
wait is that rgb xpg plate?

How do you install the rgb for the fan
Hey. I'm kinda late to the party. Do you (or anyone else) known, if a RX 7800 XT will fit in? It's 332 mm in lenght. D:
I think it will be a tight fit or not fit at all since the max fit is 330mm
does it possible to mounting GPU vertical with this case?

Agreed, and we all love good RAM clicks!
Does the pcie expansion slot reusable or you can reuse it after you take it off?
Late but you can't reuse it. It just break once and you're done with it.
Quick question, I have the same GPU and mine doesn't light up the EVGA logo. How do you enable that? Thanks in advance!

I don't consider a 100+dollar case, specially a micro one, to be "budget".
