@@DannysTechChannelRecently I buy it for my very first PC build and it is 59.99 $ on Amazon, I think I got Lucky to buy this one without Knowing how good it is, may I tell you the parts that I got for my pc?
I like this case, but it seems pretty large for a micro atx case. Mainly the height of the case is at least 2.5" taller than most. I do like that the garage is perforated to help dissipate heat.
So are you able to control the fan speed like a PWM fan? Or once they’re running they’re stuck on a constant speed? All the older montec cases used a molex connector, and you couldn’t change the speed
Hi, have you tried to mount fans on the top? It seems that those holes to screw the fans on the top are to big and we must use washers. It is true? if it is, does the case came with washers? Thank you..:)
Hey Danny! I've got a question for you if you happen to be able to answer. I know it's been a while but from what you remember, what is the noise like from the included fans? I'm trying to piece together a build for a friend and he's hoping to keep it small and quiet as he wants to do some working from home. I've seen a ton of reviews loving this case but somehow NOBODY has mentioned how loud they are. They've all mentioned the RGB, the RGB controls, the cabling, they've mentioned that they're not PWM, but I haven't seen one mention of how they sound, including in the reviews, which is really weird. Any input?
You’re right. That is strange. Sorry I didn’t include noise testing. I’ll try adding something simple to my case reviews from now on. As far as the Air 100 goes, I don’t remember specifically but I feel that if it had overly loud fans, I would have made note of that in my pros and cons section. I think it would be a good choice for your friend
@@DannysTechChannelAwesome, Thanks for the quick reply! That's kind of what I figured, they probably are a pretty average noise profile so it wasn't noteworthy either way. Thanks for the help!
hey danny i dont know if its too late to comment this question but do you think a graphics card thats 340 mm long would still fit into this case? 2:14 it says it fits up to 330mm in length but it seems u can fit another 10mm onto there, or should i try looking for another case to buy? i was also thinking the montech air 903 if the answer is no
I feel like this is a dumb question. But what's the smallest size PSU that i can fit? (length of cables). I would like to get shorter cables. but not sure what's going to be the best.
Great video! I’m looking to build a 7800x3d/4070 ti super in this. With a Thermalright peerless assassin 120 SE cooler, will the airflow and cooling be sufficient?
hey danny, over here in Spain the Tempest MIrage case seems like a good deal, its very popular with similar features as the case from this video for 80€. Would you be interested in reviewing it? I'd like to hear your opinion
Hey I recently finished a build with this but I can’t get the argb to work, it just won’t light up. I connected the argb input wire to the jrainbow1 header on my B550 pro vdh Wi-Fi motherboard but it won’t work. Any tips??
Sata power not connected or I had a board that was stuck once and I installed signal rgb and it started working.perhaps the factory default was having the rgb off.
i build my first pc back in the summer 2023 had one of my buddy give me this case for free and ig my only concern is the airflow im still relatively new to pc hardware and software and my knowledge of them
Hello. I’m building my first pc soon. I’m going to use an amd ryzen 5 7600 cpu with an rx 6750 xt gpu. Would my parts overheat in this case? I much prefer matx rather than the larger atx I am really new to this 😅
@@sebagdas3056 I don't have this case myself but basically these companies generally include a controller that hooks up to the fans in case your motherboard isn't capable of changing rgb colors, it's like a finger shaped stick with a button that when u click the button it changes the fans colours. I'd imagine this is the case here too, but not entirely sure
Hey I have a question, if my motherboard doesn't have the 5v 3 pin connector and only has the 12v 4 pin rgb header. Should I use a hub convertor from 12v to 5v? And where did you get the argb hub and sata to the 5v connector. Thanks
whats the problem with the rgb? theres no disadvantage over it unless you are in a dark room and your sensitive to light, rgb gives 20% more fps 50% more expensive 100% cooler 100,000% pro
i am thinking of changing my corsair case to either this or montech sky two. i'm not in a hurry. cos my corsair is good enough. is just that my nitro+ 6800 is a tight fit with it. yup still with my 6800. haven't had any buyer for my 3060 yet.
You reviewed this so well❤
Thanks for the kind words! Manufacturers make so many unique designs and modifications to stand out, I love it!
I'm pretty sure that the removable top mesh is supposed to attach from the inside of the case not on top
I think you’re right, but that means the air is double filtered cuz the front panel acts as a filter

Just got this case for €42. Great value for that price.
same here! Waiting for it to arrive, hopefully its worth it :)
I wonder if Montech has fixed that top dust filter issue? Thanks for sharing the info.
I’m told it’s an internal filter that goes on top of the power supply shroud. Haven’t tried putting it there myself
@@DannysTechChannelIt goes inside the case right under the top panel, not on top of it or the PSU shroud. The Manuel shows this
Thanks. Now I know for next time 🙂
I want to get it. Wondering about temps though since I have a 6800xt and 7800x3d being cooled by a Deepcool AK620. What do you think, Danny? 👀 🤞🏼
I think you’ll be ok. Depending on the size of the cooler for the GPU, you might not have much room for air intake since it’s MATX
I like this case, but it seems pretty large for a micro atx case. Mainly the height of the case is at least 2.5" taller than most. I do like that the garage is perforated to help dissipate heat.
Probably a silly question but could all this magnetism be an issue if I have a crt monitor and studio monitor speakers close to it?
So are you able to control the fan speed like a PWM fan? Or once they’re running they’re stuck on a constant speed? All the older montec cases used a molex connector, and you couldn’t change the speed
No, the fan header plugs into your motherboard to any PWM header. You pick your speed in BIOS or with software
I mean, is there any other better budget mATX case than this one right now? Still today I think this is THE one.

I tried that. It didn’t. Apparently it’s made for the top of the power supply or the underside of the top or something. I didn’t use it anyway

There's no dust filter on the front panel? Will it accumulate more dust in the inside? Or is it possible to put dust filter on front?
The tighter spacing on the mesh front panel acts as a dust filter. I wouldn’t choke it off like that. Dust it more often.
I think the "top mesh" is supposed to be installed inside the top part of the case, and not literally on top like you are doing.
Yeh, figured that out too late. I’d rather just not have it at all.
How is the airflow performance.? i see it goes upto 80c in other vids
