I recently put together my first m-atx PC. Just something simple for my dad. Used the Fractal Design Pop Mini Air case. Really easy to build in. Good compact size. Cheaper than a full tower. Can still fit a full sized PSU, GPU, air cooler. So no need to shop for bespoke bits. Very happy.
Love your videos mate! Really well shot, your voice is really soothing, systems are really aesthetic. Really well done!
I'm loving the
case and that cooler display is smart!
Devyn… as always a great build and very informative. Thanks 👊🏿
Agreed that the 7900 XT is a classy looking GPU. Super clean build
This is also one of my favourite cases to use for PC flips and build requests. When it's on sale in Canada, the price drops to as low as $55 or ~$40 USD, which is insane considering what you get for the price (reusable PCIe slot covers, built-in GPU holder, toolless tempered glass side panel, headphones holder, great build quality overall). My only complaint is the single included fan, but I understand that's what keeps the price down.
might actually go with this build. thanks for this.
I upgraded last month to a matx gaming system, i am really happy with it and you can build very powerful systems in matx and think most gamers could be happy with that size. I have 7800x3d and a 7900xtx and im very happy with the performance at 1440p (getting a 135fps). I also aircooled for the first time in years and think air cooling still defintly has its place even with quite demanding cpus.
Air cooling has come a long way with some performing at least as good if not better as some 240mm AIOs. You also have a very efficient cpu!
@@Samsei1 thanks I haven't as air cooled in years, I always had aio water coolers.
You have a link to your build? Which cooler did you go with on the 7800x3d?
This is a sleek, classy build. I had never seen that CPU cooler before, never knew there was anything like it. Don't think it'd fit in my classic Corsair Carbide 240, but I'm definitely considering something like this for my next upgrade coming up soon.
This looks sick bro!
I built almost the same rig coz of this video. I went with the AM4 path rocking a sapphire pulse RX 6800 xt with a Ryzen 7 5700x CPU with the same deepcool cooler and case. Thank you so much man! Happy New Year!
Hey do the ch370 have enough room for XFX Speedster SWFT 319
AMD Radeon T™ RX 6800?
@@_notl.namel_ My sapphire pulse rx 6800 xt is 10.5 inches and its fits well enough. It has approx 4 inches before it hits the front fans. The Speedster SWFT 319 is 13.4 inches. It might have a few centemeters before hitting the fron fan. Its up to you if thats ok. But it will probably fit. Do some research before trusting a random comment on youtube tho lol. :)
Does the case have enough space to close the glass properly with the ak620?
Been eyeing the deepcool case for months now, will buy it soon. Very sleek design.
Love my black Lancool 2 Mesh Performance case. Does take up some space on my desk. Might consider downsizing in the future.
Love the blacked out look! Just built a new PC in the NZXT H6 flow totally blacked out, with no RGB besides the deepcool radiator syncing color to the CPU temp.
For those looking for a compact mATX case without (too much) compromises, the Silverstone PS15 has only 25L volume and can fit all of this stuff (except for the massive CPU cooler).
you can move the front cpu fan up on the cooler to clear RGB ram. i had to do it in my system and prefer the more flush look
You should include a CPU contact frame for Intel chips in your build guide. They barely cost anything and have a measurable impact on temperatures.
Thank you for the quick comparison between the Cooler Master Q300L v2, both of these cases are my choices if I decide to build a PC. Did you notice any thermal issues with the Q300L? Some comments on Reddit said the design is basically identical to the original Q300 and that apparently was bad at air flow, which is a shame for how nice and affordable it looks. Thanks
just built a 7800x3d/4070ti proart in a nr200p for my friend, needless to say i wanted to take it home right after lol
Always enjoy your PC builds, great job once again :). I have a case suggestion I own the Xtia XPROTO ATX open case and I thought it would be a good suggestion for a future build maybe. I really enjoy this case and building in the ‘’case’’ was very easyI personally have the V1 version (it’s been replaced by the V2 version).
There are not that many videos out there on the case so I thought it could be worth a shot for you (I have also seen your XPROTO L case build which was great to see!
Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah, I am thinking of adding more open case videos soon
@@devyn.johnston no problem! You would be one of the first to really showcase it properly hahah. I have this “ITX” for almost a year now
Good discussion on ITX vs micro-atx. I need to upgrade soon and I really like what you did in this build. What are your thoughts on AIO vs aur-cooled? Another big choice
air coolers have come a long way and if you have an efficient cpu like the 7800x3d, it's no problem. My buddy has a 7800x3d with a noctua Nh-u12a. Very good temps with the PBO settings from optimum tech.
Thank you
Hey devyn, i rly love ur videos and wanted to built the 1800$ pc u built a few months ago with the i5 and 4070ti in the nzxt h1. You think the 140mm aio could also handle an 7800X3D instead of the i5 ? would love an answer. Much love
Can you try out the Jonsbo u4 mini? Would love to see that. Could not find good videos about it...
The Noctua NA-FH1 is currently unavailable, would using the ARCTIC Case Fan Hub be a fine alternative? I was thinking about buying everything on this list instead of the GPU, using my EVGA 3080 FTW3 ^^
I have a M atx motherboard in a full tower thinking about downsizing my case.
For $60 this case is a no brainer. Awesome build.
What do you think of the tecware fusion. I think it's the best sff matx case right now.
There seems to be not much clearance between the CPU cooler and the graphics card. Can that be an issue with heat congestion?
plz show a build for micro atx form factor that can give output of 4k gameplay!
what was that baby PC at the beginning? that thing looked insane and i wanna get my hands on one.
Man I wish I built this kind of pc because the one I have right now is about the same specs except its a ATX Sized pc
Why do people insist buying the 13600k? Is it that cheaper than the 14600k, which is a bit improved?
i love the CH370 and have one BUT. its not that much smaller than an atx case. its almost the exact same size as my OG meshify C which is a mid tower ATX case
Make a video with qube 500 coolermaster or case size comparison video with different cases
for people dont like TG cases, look at the asus AP201. completely mesh for fantastic airflow and a premium look. own this case and its fantastic, even with 5 fans its sleeper like silent :)
Can overclock with that board?, some of the non z boards supports bclk overlock
my previous biold was very similar, with a deepcool ak400 zero dark instead. all black, very boring. now I have an all-white pc which I did not know it could look so good.
So this will allow you to run any pc game old to new, like from older Windows programs Dos 95 98 2000 XP Vista 7 8?
I love m-atx price. Mine is inside a CM NR400.
I love i loveeeee this small pc with ZERO LGB
This air cooler is gorgeous. I like it more than any AIO.
Would this case work with a 7800x3d and a 7900xt or 4080?
Wow that price for the 7900xt. I've just looked around and in the UK it's still £900
Pretty PC
❤❤ Amazing ❤❤
could i put gpus over 320mm inside this case?
try thermaltake tower 200 or 500
Is this cooler good for i7 149700k ?
The michael chandler of tech
another formd t1 build please 🤤🤤
I want an ITX build but I'm afraid I won't be able to get what I'm looking for until either AMD or Nvidia can figure out how to make their high end GPUs smaller while staying cool. These enormous GPUs just don't allow you to make a top of the line ITX build.
522w/.6=870watts Thus and 850 gold or even a 1000w psu would be better for gaming efficiency.
Got a question, my pc keep shutting off now each time I opened a game up. I repasted the CPU yesterday it run no problem today I played for a hour and it start turning off again... Any idea what the problem?
Probably your power supply, lower the power limit of your GPU to check
Gonna try that thanks
isn't 7800x3d and also i5 13th gen bottleneck for 7900 xt?? i ve verified them on a site and it s big difference even with a 7800 xt
those sites are just made up numbers, don't trust them at all
I still see those watt consumption while gaming and I say no no no. I seriously don't know if I would buy top end hardware today even if I had more than a euro in my accounts.
The idea of consuming more than 250W for a GPU alone is very off putting to me.
I guess the one positive thing about the RTX 4060 and I guess even 4070.
Very good build, and I do agree the price of that case is amazing for what it is.
Thank you for sharing.
You could buy higher rated GPU and undervolt it a bit. I went for 4070ti and now it runs games at ~170W. Because I also think burning 300+W on GPU alone is a bit too hot for my room and needs. But then you could undervolt AMD as well. Not as great as Nvidia, but close enough. For the sake of performance numbers many parts are pushed quite hard. Doesn't stop you from changing that.
@@vensroofcat6415 It feels like modding games to make them work. Not my style.
@@TrusteftTech You do reduce shadows in some games settings when running short, don't you?
The thing about performance per watt curve - it isn't linear. Limiting the top performance by 10% you can often achieve like 30% savings for power. Because that tech was pushed close to limits right out of the factory. We basically buy overclocked GPUs and CPUs for the last 5+ years. Even those without OC in name.
It's not you who's modding. You are kind of making them "normal". Nothing wrong with being slightly more reasonable. No pressure though.
@@vensroofcat6415 LOL that's one way of thinking it. Why does it feel like you are trying to push me to do something illegal? (j/k). Still no, but thanks.
Imagine a world where apus can get 60 fps at 4k, maybe in ten years
Is the deepcool ch370 better than the q300l v2?
yea by a mile
Just picked up AsRock 7800XT PG for 509$. What a fucking deal !!!!
transitioning to an m atx :)

Привет друг! У меня такой же корпус только белый. И в целом он меня устраивает. Хотелось бы увидеть на канале корпус NZXT H1 v2 у вас на канале, он не очень понравился, жалко что корпус дорогой, так бы приобрел себе.
I like small PCs but if I can't fit a 4090 I don't want it, lol.
Ya, how did they FAIL so badly not having a USB-C Port... I mean, that's 10 YEARS ago level of "behind the times" failure.
Frankly, there are plenty of other good cases to get, even though most would be more expensive, they would also be just better and you can keep them forever.

PCI EXPRESS Gen 4 slot for the GPU,stop misleading people
The PCIe slot for the GPU is 5.0... www.asus.com/us/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-b760m-plus-wifi/
@@devyn.johnston my apologies,I don’t know why on amazon the AM5 has PCI E gen 4 for GPU
"The cpu is the intel.." booo booo, boo Wendy Teastaburger boo.
That is one gigantic "micro" atx cases. it's like mid size case. no micro atx should be large enough for 360mm gpu and it looks like it was designed in 1998
Unfortunately, the white version of the case is not fully white. So I have to exclude this case from my list.

@@minasenjoyer8844 Your failed mother.

I highly doubt it. Most people who need this type of pc build want solid quality not a flexible recycled tin can piece of garbage. That's that puttin 2000 dollar rims on a 150 dollar piece of sht car mentality 🤣😂 Might as well just flush money down the toilet. There's nothing like cookin a motherboard due to cheap faulty power switches and wiring.

hello, please tell me you are involved in charity, my brother with a disability needs a computer, he could stream games and get money from it, but we don’t have money for a computer, can you give us a gift please?

4070 Super is wayyyyy better than the 7900XT for most people's uses.
The 4070S delivers on average around 15 less fps than the 7900XT in rasterization and a couple fps less when using RT. What are you even on about?
@@NemoRSRB And with DLSS?
And outside the cherry picked suite of games usually benchmarked?
@@MalumZeth Both cards can use upscaling technology and frame generation so of course the result doesn't change.
And how is every popular game that people play a "cherry picked suite of games? And you can't be seriously thinking that major and smaller channels that benchmark games deliberately chose a specific set of games just to favor one card over the other. You have no objective arguments, just an obvious parasocial relationship with Nvidia. And just for the record to prevent you from using an argument I can feel coming my way, I use an Nvidia card.
@@NemoRSRB i play darktide a lot and it doesn't support amd frame generation, so switching to 4070 super my FPS has almost doubled.
@@MalumZeth well there you have it. 4070 super is better when playing darktide lol. But most people don't only play darktide.
the case is gigantic, sorry
Womp womp
These M-Atx are trash it is worthless because It has already an ATX case dimensions. Chinese new brands are more innovative on this. They were able to consider positioning the power supply on the front of the case rather than above or below the mainboard, resulting this saved a significant space and reduced case dimensions. These is the last period of these kind of old brain style Atx, M-Atx cases.
Hahahahaha....how is it that they are more innovative? Please elaborate.....what profession do you have ?
N please tell me out of the all parts what parts they innovated, designed and have the technology
hey buddy you have recommendations? i have an NR400 currently
Look for Jonsbo D30/D31 or Asus Prime AP201
What do you need 5 PCI-E slots for, when 2 full size and 1 single lane PCI-E slot are plenty for most systems. You can save a couple of cm in MB height, which equals saving weight. And I personally prefer the PSU at the bottom, it visually cleans up the PC interiour, allows for a radiator or more fans in the Front, and improves cable management. Dont forget that stuff can get complicated when using an oversize GPU when the PSU sits in the front. Ill keep this case in mind, it looks quite good, esp. for 60 bucks. But yes, esp for non-glass sidepanels and budget/mid-range GPUs, the front PSU designs can be quite neat
i have the 13600kf and its very powerful on the games and its help my rtx 4070 to get the highest performance in 1440p, most of the time i got +120fps in the stories games & the small games, +165fps in shooter/battle royal games on high settings, i really recommend the i5 13k for the players who want to have a super powerful cpu for the games
