I recently put together my first m-atx PC. Just something simple for my dad. Used the Fractal Design Pop Mini Air case. Really easy to build in. Good compact size. Cheaper than a full tower. Can still fit a full sized PSU, GPU, air cooler. So no need to shop for bespoke bits. Very happy.
I upgraded last month to a matx gaming system, i am really happy with it and you can build very powerful systems in matx and think most gamers could be happy with that size. I have 7800x3d and a 7900xtx and im very happy with the performance at 1440p (getting a 135fps). I also aircooled for the first time in years and think air cooling still defintly has its place even with quite demanding cpus.
I built almost the same rig coz of this video. I went with the AM4 path rocking a sapphire pulse RX 6800 xt with a Ryzen 7 5700x CPU with the same deepcool cooler and case. Thank you so much man! Happy New Year!
@@_notl.namel_ My sapphire pulse rx 6800 xt is 10.5 inches and its fits well enough. It has approx 4 inches before it hits the front fans. The Speedster SWFT 319 is 13.4 inches. For those looking for a compact mATX case without (too much) compromises, the Silverstone PS15 has only 25L volume and can fit all of this stuff (except for the massive CPU cooler).
This is a sleek, classy build. I had never seen that CPU cooler before, never knew there was anything like it. Don't think it'd fit in my classic Corsair Carbide 240, but I'm definitely considering something like this for my next upgrade coming up soon.
This is also one of my favourite cases to use for PC flips and build requests. When it's on sale in Canada, the price drops to as low as $55 or ~$40 USD, which is insane considering what you get for the price (reusable PCIe slot covers, built-in GPU holder, toolless tempered glass side panel, headphones holder, great build quality overall). My only complaint is the single included fan, but I understand that's what keeps the price down.
Love the blacked out look! Just built a new PC in the NZXT H6 flow totally blacked out, with no RGB besides the deepcool radiator syncing color to the CPU temp.
I want an ITX build but I'm afraid I won't be able to get what I'm looking for until either AMD or Nvidia can figure out how to make their high end GPUs smaller while staying cool. These enormous GPUs just don't allow you to make a top of the line ITX build.
Tbh I really don’t mind my case being 3cm taller (corsair 460x) to run a full ATX board. Had I built on mATX, my usb expansion card (needed to run my oculus rift with 3 sensors) would sit one slot closer to the GPU, reducing the airflow to one of its only 2 fans (4070 super reference card). I would also have needed to settle for onboard wi-fi rather than the PCI-E card I have. My situation is pretty specific, a more recent VR headset wouldn’t need that USB expansion and ideally I would have my internet wired. But still. With the popularity of SFF cases in recent years, I feel like the versatility of ATX has become quite underrated. For the minimal space that mATX saves compared to a compact ATX case, I don’t think it’s really worth it ; it’s not like it’s the kind of space saving that makes you reconsider putting your PC on the desk instead of under it.
The PC case seems really the hardest thing to buy (and possibly deal with), if the choice isn't just "perfect" or limited. This for example isn't perfect for not having front coolers installed, unlike some other options. And no option is perfect anyway for not having a side-mesh option, because of the window trend.

You could buy higher rated GPU and undervolt it a bit. I went for 4070ti and now it runs games at ~170W. Because I also think burning 300+W on GPU alone is a bit too hot for my room and needs. But then you could undervolt AMD as well. Not as great as Nvidia, but close enough. For the sake of performance numbers many parts are pushed quite hard. Doesn't stop you from changing that.

These M-Atx are trash it is worthless because It has already an ATX case dimensions. Chinese new brands are more innovative on this. They were able to consider positioning the power supply on the front of the case rather than above or below the mainboard, resulting this saved a significant space and reduced case dimensions. These is the last period of these kind of old brain style Atx, M-Atx cases.
What do you need 5 PCI-E slots for, when 2 full size and 1 single lane PCI-E slot are plenty for most systems. You can save a couple of cm in MB height, which equals saving weight. And I personally prefer the PSU at the bottom, it visually cleans up the PC interiour, allows for a radiator or more fans in the Front, and improves cable management. Dont forget that stuff can get complicated when using an oversize GPU when the PSU sits in the front. Ill keep this case in mind, it looks quite good, esp. for 60 bucks. But yes, esp for non-glass sidepanels and budget/mid-range GPUs, the front PSU designs can be quite neat

And outside the cherry picked suite of games usually benchmarked?
@@MalumZeth Both cards can use upscaling technology and frame generation so of course the result doesn't change.
And how is every popular game that people play a "cherry picked suite of games? And you can't be seriously thinking that major and smaller channels that benchmark games deliberately chose a specific set of games just to favor one card over the other. You have no objective arguments, just an obvious parasocial relationship with Nvidia. And just for the record to prevent you from using an argument I can feel coming my way, I use an Nvidia card.
@@NemoRSRB i play darktide a lot and it doesn't support amd frame generation, so switching to 4070 super my FPS has almost doubled.
@@MalumZeth well there you have it. 4070 super is better when playing darktide lol. But most people don't only play darktide.
That is one gigantic "micro" atx cases. it's like mid size case. no micro atx should be large enough for 360mm gpu and it looks like it was designed in 1998
I highly doubt it. Most people who need this type of pc build want solid quality not a flexible recycled tin can piece of garbage. That's that puttin 2000 dollar rims on a 150 dollar piece of sht car mentality 🤣😂 Might as well just flush money down the toilet. There's nothing like cookin a motherboard due to cheap faulty power switches and wiring.

Hahahahaha....how is it that they are more innovative? Please elaborate.....what profession do you have ?
N please tell me out of the all parts what parts they innovated, designed and have the technology
hey buddy you have recommendations? i have an NR400 currently
Look for Jonsbo D30/D31 or Asus Prime AP201
