- Treated myself to a late lunch at Le Procope. I thought I had the best table in the house! Able to people watch while I waited for my meal of Escargot and Coq au Vin. And of course, the warm baguette to pick up all the scrumptious sauces. What a treat it was to see the rich history of this culinary landmark and to taste traditional French cooking. 👍

Isn’t it something? I was treated like gold there, and thought the midi selection was fantastic + fairly priced. I kept marveling at how old the building was, floors and doorways slightly crooked in some places from decades of love + use. Loved how special that place was without feeling uptight. Sorry for the late reply. Been not feeling well. I was so well treated too. The experience was priceless. I didn't take the midi slection because I wanted escargot badly. Delicious.

Unfortunately, I became lactose intolerant lately so I have to be careful especially with desserts. It was a little painful to be surrounded with all the delicious cheeses and pastries and not being able to eat them. Lactase pills may help but I didn’t want to take any chances. 😮
