We had lunch at Le Procope, Saint-Germain-des-Prés most historic and iconic restaurant. Was it good? Come with me and see what happens... #Paris #SaintGermain #Procope

Firstly, I could be your friend and visit great restaurants with you LOL. Seriously though, just started watching your vids. Not only great content but well executed videos. The video quality, the background music and the clear vivid voice I truly appreciate. It makes watching your videos all the better. Thank you so much. We are visiting France in the fall and perhaps Le Procope will be on our list of restaurants to visit. We do love good food:)
I had wonderful experiences at Le Procope too. We went there for dinner last week to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family. The food was very delicious and the meet fell literally of the bone. The staff was extremely helpful and caring. It was a pleasure to be there and enjoy all the food. A must try are the ones made from original recpies from the 16th century.
Alain you are making me very hungry... 😋 Le Procope is a great choice for those wanting real history, nice ambiance, and moderately good food at a very reasonable price point. Thank you for highlighting it.
Wonderful ..the prices are very reasonable given excellent quality/ value ratio ...not to mention the decor and history you get to breath in! If I recall my last time there, they say a young Lieutenant left his hat at the Procope as a promise to return to pay his bar bill! They should have kept Napoleons hat...would be worth a pretty penny! :) Merci pour la visite.
Hello.Je n'ai jamais été au Procope.Je connais les deux magots et le café de Flore.Quand c'est bon je sauce tout le temps.Excellent travaille je vous félicite
Thank you for the lovely video. Delicious food! Is Vaping allowed inside restaurants in Paris at 2:50? Just curious thank you again for wonderful video as I plan my trip to Paris!
Now im hungry so ill get my breakfast. That meal looked very nice. Sort of thing id cook at home. But for a fraction of the price. Can you go to a place called Bombance sometime.
@@paristoptips oh my God. I'm going there in a few days time for a particular reason but I have put money aside for it. I thought it was time I did the authentic high end Paris cuisine thing (and another reason). I'm actually dreading it because the menu food, all posh stuff looks disgusting but all posh food is. But it'll be an experience! Please don't tell the chef I said this. It might turn out to be delicious!
@paristoptips I scored a deal with the hotel! That's the only reason why I'm staying there. Lol. And granted, it's a 5 mins walk to arc and train station
LeProcope is beautiful, just don’t order the Coq au Vin. It has hardly any meat. Mine was all cartilage and joint bone. Whatever meat I could get I had to scrape off bone. When I pointed this out to the server he just shrugged. Go, but don’t order that. You’ve been warned.

I might go to Bombance one day, though it's a little more expensive than the restaurants I usually present on TH-cam...

Bon appétit! 🙂
Can you do a video of the 17th. I'll be staying at hotel elsa July next year and I'm just so excited. I love the simplicity of your videos❤
There's nothing very touristy about the 17th, but I may do something on this nice bourgeois arrondissement.

@@leahguevara7658 It is indeed very close to the Arc de Triomphe.
strange the restaurant was so empty during serving time…why was that??? 🤔
It was empty at the beginning... and at the end of the service, as we stayed a long time.
But in the meantime, it was almost full...
Sounds great. How would this place be for someone who speaks no French?
In this kind of restaurant where there are a lot of tourists, there would be no problem.
They have menus in English too.

Thanks for the advice!
I'll second that on their Coq au Vin, its not the best choice at Procope.
Paleron is not cheek …
I didn't say beef cheek, but beef chuck... or shoulder if you prefer. 🙂
It is disconcerting to see the attire of patrons unsuitable & inferior to the elegance of Le Procope.
People dress relaxed in Paris.
