- Chair Yoga 28 Day Series - More Seated, Some Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for our 28 day journey including seated revolved extended Mountain pose. You’ll need a chair and a yoga strap (or substitute) for today’s class.
Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.
This 41 minute yoga practice is day 25 of our 28 day yoga journey together. Join us as we build our practice from the ground up. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and improve focus.
You’ll need a chair and a yoga strap (or substitute). We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

Hi Carol…I am 72 and this is the first time I have ever really exercised in my life. Thank you for introducing me to your easy to follow chair yoga exercises. I especially like the “do if you can add ons”. My shoulders are shot and my balance and stamina are terrible but I am already noticing a difference in the way I feel. I am learning my limitations but I am so happy to find that I can actually do far more than I ever imagined. I have two days left in the 28 day challenge and look forward to starting something new…or starting the 28 days over again 😊. Thank you Carol 🙏🏻

I was shaking from the first moment of plank but made it fully through both sides. Yay!
Way to go! It's a very challenging pose. Believe me, my body shakes, too. But we get stronger as we continue to push. Keep up the great work.

The strap work was very difficult for me. I could not do all of the standing with it. But wow, 25 days for me showing up is amazing.

Excellent class, I got some help from yoga dog, as I am stretching my leg back behind me she licks my toes and in the chair plank she licked my face! Resulting in a lot of laughter, I hope we weren’t too disruptive to your class; hahahaha . Loved the class

Hi, I enjoyed this so much, although I have bad foot neuropathy and balance issues. Wondering where do go after I'm dong with day 28 (did 25 today). Any recommendations for moving forward? Retired recently and trying to create a routine, don'e want to drop out after 28 days

Hi Guys how are you
The only problem I have is my legs feel very heavy due to neuropathy caused by sepsis had to learn to walk again etc etc
I have got stuck on day 25
Lifting legs by balancing is really bad I am nearly falling however I am sticking to it
And my stomach muscles are a bit achy had my stomach operated on due to peforated ulcer 2008
Despite all of this I love every moment of it ❤️ 💖 💕 💛 ♥️
I love your motivation and willingness to stick to it! You are doing a lot of great work to help heal your body. Don't worry about repeating Day 25. Just keep it up and do what works best for you. See you tomorrow.
