  • Chair Yoga 28 Day Series - Some Seated, More Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for our 28 day journey including standing Pigeon pose. You’ll only need a chair for today’s class.
    Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.
    This 36 minute yoga practice is day 26 of our 28 day yoga journey together. Join us as we build our practice from the ground up. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and improve focus.
    You’ll only need a chair. We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

    Today's practice was definitely a lesson in humility for me. I'm glad I made it to the chair today, and I will remember tomorrow that it's OK to be where you are, and every time you make it to the chair it's progress. See you tomorrow!

    I have been repeating 26, 27, and 28. It is starting to really help with balance and leg strength. Never give up! As always, Thank you Carol!

    Nailed it! I was able to do it all and that feels great! Missed yesterday, my 91 year old Mom fell and was with her most of the day at the ER. I really needed this. Thank you!,,,

    Completing this 28 day challenge was a great way for me to get back into yoga. Starting with short, easier videos really helped me stick with it and work up to the harder stuff. I'll be making my way through your extensive library for the foreseeable future.

    Loved today! My legs were certainly not as high as yours when in the boat pose, but I did my best. :) Thanks for helping me enjoy yoga.

    WOW! Tilting back in the chair and raising both knees was tough. So proud of myself that I could keep my balance on the crescent pose at the end. day 26 ✅🙏🏻🐞

    I missed showing up to my mat yesterday, tiredness mainly so I rested. That was a strong and beautiful session - thanks as always Carol. I lov a tree pose and what a difference my tree is now to when we first did it... my boat pose needs a little practice, lol. I'm thinking of repeating this last week after day 28 to build on my strength and comfort in the poses. See you tomorrow.

    Just completed Day 26 - really enjoying Bottoms Down, this was the first day that I couldn't manage all the add on's....lack of strong stomach muscles being the culprit!!

    Felt good overall though definitely needed to adapt the boat’s ab workout! The standing pigeon, was it, felt great fingers to floor, and I plan to try that one in my free time with more hold time down there. Thanks!

    I was not feeling well yesterday so I'm behind a day, but getting right back on the horse. You should have given warning though, about that last pose. I laughed so hard at the thought, I fell out of the chair pose! My knees had been cooperating, so I didn't press them farther. Maybe next time. Namaste.

    Hi, I made it to the 26th day of the chair yoga 28-day challenge. I'm not as flexible as I used to be. You know I can't for the life of me bend down and touch the floor my stomach gets in the way, and my back just doesn't help. But I am trying. Thank you for chair yoga. I love this. ❤🎉 JulieDB 😅

    Please tell me how to access the next program you would recommend for the whole body after the 28 day challenge is completed. I’m on day26 now and have seen amazing results in how I look, my productivity, and my emotional well being. Heck I can even wear
    my jeans again! Now, at 69, if I could only get rid of my facial wrinkles…lol.
