I watched this before purchasing the gt and your review seems spot on. For any prospective buyers...The throttle is not much touchier than my meepo v3 it's just that it has a lot more available power. If it was any less touchy then I'm afraid you would have trouble accessing its power when needed ( steep conditions/obstacles) don't be afraid, you will get used to it. Easily selecting the power levels will help with it too. This thing is a tank! I crashed going approx 33mph sending the board into a stop sign and nothing broke. It does feel heavy but I wouldn't compromise the battery size or suspension components to drop any weight. It's all worth it!!

You have to read out what you already typed most of the time, so allowing ai to read out what you’ve typed takes so much less time. Honestly it doesn’t even sound bad to me, still a quality review.
@@gavinzooms At the moment it is just as time-consuming or even more so than using my real voice, but hopefully that changes in the next few months. I’m using my cloned voice because my real voice has issues.

I don't know how people ride without bindings. While I suspect they don't know how I ride with them. LoL. You can do so much more with bindings. I can pretty much on the two side wheels, and pick the board up by simply jumping. They are mandatory for serious off road riding.

Daniel bro what if we connect the controller to the motherboard directly. i believe it will help with the jerkin. also add a rechargeable backup battery as u break. i know it increases weight but u mentioned it can be tune with a computer right? tune the watts for the motor torque for smooth acceleration. also a mode for the back tires to help you climb the stairs. u can even just pull it with a leash and let the 4 tries do it for you. Bom!
How do you clean it? It’s an off road board, so it gets absolutely caked 💩 Slightest bit of water and it freaks out. To clean, I now remove the rear metal bracket with the power button and bushing, apply insulation tape over the exposed power connector on the board and around the motors and make sure the deck bolts are tight, these are under the stock grip tape. I did change out the grip tape for (spiked) rubber matting and left these bolts exposed for easy maintenance access but cover them with insulation tape. I should maybe do a video 😂

Second, you really helped me decide on my first board, and I'm very happy with it (Exway X1 Max). Since I have a street board, I've been wanting to get an AT. I was figuring it was going to be the Atlas Pro (2wd), but after watching this, I don't see a reason for it except for a bit of cost savings and the board length (I'm 6' 4"). But the Endeavor2 (waiting on the Pro to go on sale) has better range, same power, better suspension and wider dimensions (key for my height). I know you love the Atlas Pro, but can you think of reason that someone would get an Atlas over this? Personally, I'm in the States with a ton of room to ride on bumpy streets and open fields. Quality, speed and battery life are my main concerns, and the weight of the board is a non-issue. In general, do you see anything being a better AT option than this for someone like myself? Long comment/question, but if you're able to find any time to respond I would be greatly appreciative! Thank you!
Endeavor is much better than any 2-in-1 AT board at off-roading but can’t use longboard wheels. The 2-in-1 boards (including Atlas Pro) can use longboard wheels which allow you to be closer to the ground and have a more longboard-like carving experience, and give a big boost in range compared to using pneumatic tires. So there are trade-offs and you can decide what’s more suitable based on your priorities.
Hi Daniel, this was a great video. I can't decide between the S and the GT. I'm 72KG so I doubt I'd run out of range and with the current price difference between the S ($1200) and the GT($2000) I'm leaning towards the S. However what I don't know and can't quantify, is how much better the experience is with GT's controller/remote/ESC. I don't want to regret not getting the GT if the experience on the S isn't going to be great. If you can share your thought's I'd appreciate it. I'm riding in suburbia and on park trails if that helps. Thank you so much!
Another great video as always! Board looks great and seems to be an upgrade on the 1, but just like you, I don't see the real usage in city/urban living. I have a small apartment and live in busy areas. But I get others with better storage possibilities will see the positives 🤙
There’d hardly be any difference between those tyres and “street”, as the centre band of the semi off road ones that it comes with is almost slick. They need replacing out with more effective off road tyres.
I'm a complete beginner to esk8s so I guess the 3rd and 4th speed mode won't be used in quite a while until I learn how to ride it, but I will use it eventually. How bad is the jerkiness? If I go slowly on the throttle, can I modulate it at all or does it just get to a certain point and just shoots off? Great and very informative review!
See I love my electric skateboard I wish it would go faster I need to buy something with some more speed I top out at 50kph but it's the adrenalin rush I love I actually broken my ankle like 2 months ago while riding plates and pins and I'm back on it being my old stupid self still wanting more speed you are definitely right tho there are safer options out there for speed but it's the danger I like im always pushing my borad and myself to the point where I loose traction and almost come off but usually safe it and that feeling of fuck I almost died is unbeatable just what I feel great video man Would you ever ride a tracked electric skateboard I ask because it would be good for snow and sand but personally iv never ridden one and have no clue where to try one out.. as always great video man

Great content as usual! I was wondering what board you would suggest for a 120kg rider, first board looking to mainly A/T ride because in general the UK roads and paths are an absolute mess and street riding wouldn't be too smart other than in the odd place. I was initially looking at the Hadean Carbon 2 in 1, preferred the bamboo but user weight is a problem. Then I came across these beauties after looking at the alternatives (Onsra Carve etc) that you suggested when you posted the video about not getting the Hadean :D. The Hadean for reference is available in Carbon 2in1 for £1599 on sale in the UK currently. I'd really appreciate your input. The engineer in me wants to almost design a board from scratch but life has generally been getting in the way and I just need some escapism on a board in my life ASAP. Keep up the great work! Also side note I guess weather sealing is generally a concern as we have quite a lot of rainfall this way , not that I plan on riding in such conditions :D. Lacroix Barrel looks generally beautiful
My Hadean Carbon’s lights malfunctioned after one ride in the rain, and now it won’t even turn on. I think most AT boards would be able to handle 120kg, though higher power may be beneficial to you. Any 4WD board should be plenty powerful. For 2WD, look for something with a higher rated ESC though that spec is sometimes hard to find. Ignore motor wattages, that spec is mostly meaningless.
@@DanielKwan That great build quality, I guessed they focused too much on the indestructible controller to care about quality control on the boards. Hoping for something VESC based was slightly annoyed the new Endeavour wasn't using the normal VESC board but understandable from a commercial perspective. I'll keep looking and watching your videos :').

compared to Ecomobl M24 Pro, 69lbs. END 2 GT or Pro is light as feathers😅 No doubt, very jerky from the experience I've had with M24 Pro. Not only from startups but also from slow-down to speed-up or vice versa, I have to constantly remind myself "Be Ready" for it.
@@davidcai3600 yes, very powerful, lots of torgue. Adding the Lingyi ESC makes it more jerky. You might want to change to the ESC in the future if you still don't get used to the jerkiness.

I would get it but I vowed to never buy any new devices with anything other than USB-C. I literally paid $50 to upgrade Apple TV 4K so that I could get the USB-C remote. USB-C all the way. Come on, Propel!
Hey Daniel! I’m in the market for a new 2 in 1 board, but I want an experts advice on this. I’m looking at the Zeus Pro P42A config along with the Hurricane Ultra Belt config (now also comes with P42A). Zeus Pro has a slight bit more range according to your range estimator, but the Hurricane Ultra has better acceleration which I like as much as range. I’d be happy with either, but would just like to know which board (and overall brand) is better to buy. Thanks in advance! Your reviews got me interested in both of these haha it’s a tossup for sure. IIRC, the jerkiness on the Hurricane with belt drive was quite minimal, but that was with an earlier LY-FOC. If the current Hurricane Ultra feels the same, I think I would prefer it over the Zeus Pro. If the jerkiness is like what I felt on the Hurricane Ultra with gear drive, I’d prefer the Zeus Pro.

Not sure if it’ll ever be back to 100%. I can run and stuff, but it still is weaker and has limited mobility compared to my good ankle.
