For the people who do need this video though, it has the potential to save thousands of dollars of mistakes, and for that, I hope this channel never stops videos like this.
Thanks for your kind word, it meant alot to me, really. The Best Electric Skateboards compilations is always the video I dread making, which is why we failed to give yearly update. Since 2017 I have had a kyng board with 350 watt motor and put 1000 miles on it. It was $140. I also have a $140 k-panther board with dual hub motors. I have to repair the battery cells/esc over the years but I thought it was a great way to get into soldering. I skate a $99 Santa Cruz Duster cruiser board non electric. I like skating any of the boards with kick tails. There should be more people skating.
I almost clicked off immediately because it had the vibe of one of those "top ten" channels where they just google for top tens or pull them straight off of amazon.
Great vid - glad you included exway, propel, ace deck, backfire and evolve. It's rare to find comparison vids that include all of them and don't just try and push the lower tier brands. Def agree that exway has an edge in user experience. Would include onsra in this too. Biggest thing for me is weight - be good to flag the differences given we've gone from hand held to tank scale!
Awesome to keep up with the fast-moving field of ESkate in a few minutes with your videos. Range and Top speed are key to me (more than technical specs), would be great if you included that for each board in this video. Thanks anyways and keep up the good work.
I bought Exway Atlas 2wd, when it was on sale. I’ve had awesome customer service + They upload videos on yt on common problems. Remote drains more quick than expected tho. But that’s a small issue. Topspeed will range from 28-32km/hour on plat terrain
Yo bet a lot of people would love it if you did this again. The board I was gonna get after watching this isn’t available anywhere online and seems this industry moves fast with new boards all the time. Thanks
I just got into this hobby me and a buddy bought two boosted boards and now him and I are literally foaming at the mouth to start getting some higher end ones
The onsra velar is like having the bat mobile as a skateboard. Amazing board and build quality. Plus it’s very water resistant and has great ground clearance. I know it didn’t make this list cause it’s higher in price but just thought I’d throw it out there.
No mention of the OMW Cavalry? I'm one month into electric skateboarding and that's the board I ended up buying. I really like that it came with 7" pneumatic AT, 6" pneumatic street, and 97mm urethane tires/wheels, Anybody in the comments have any thoughts on it? Like I said this is my first board and have nothing to compare it to. To me it's awesome, And so far I have nothing negative to say about it. Except the first time on level 2 the torque caught me off guard. Haven't tried level 3 or 4. I think better protection gear is needed and will be ordering that soon. Pretty good video. I will share with my friend who is thinking of getting into the sport on more of an entry level setup
Good video and so many boards. I think there are more and some realy worthy in the 1500$ catecory. Ownboard zeus pro (936wh) and bamboo AT (1170wh) supernice rides! And Mboards Interstellar 2.0!!!! And more, so many boards 🙌🏼
Wow! What a fantastic, eye-opener of a review - some beautiful boards on here that are well worth considering. It's great that you did it from low to high budget (as I have no money right now 😀😅) - Great vid man. 👍
I haven't seen much coverage on Bustin boards. I have 2 of their push boards and love them. They got into the electric game a few years ago and I'm curious about getting one but there aren't a lot of reviews out there. Any chance you guys might cover one of their 2024 boards? They always make really unique and practical designs so might be worth a look.
I had one earlier this year (Magneto X Bustin Hybrid Cruiser) and I can't say I recommend it over any of these options. It felt remarkably cheap and had some design defects, along with an old LingYi ESC that crapped out within a couple months. The cheapest Tynee would be better than the Bustin. I've heard similar complaints about the other Bustin hybrid boards. I think they'll be a much better purchase once they upgrade the ESC on those things.
@@androniusmaximus buying one of their boards definitely has some flaws. I struggle with the main eskate companies because of their deck designs. Every long board is the same shape and the only boards with kick talks are short boards which are less comfortable to commute on. The written reviews show Bustin has been improving over time and I might make the jump to support the company and help them improve their hybrids. I'm not a spec nerd, want a longboard with a kick tail and want to see bustin grow so I might waste some money on the hybrid shrike next time they go on sale.
@@Mr.bendyarms that’s a good way to look at it! i will say that i enjoyed the deck shape of my cruiser above all else, it really felt like my old push board had come back with a vengeance. have fun and tear it up!
Thank you for this video man, it was GREATLY needed. Recently ordered the tynee ultra hub, but due to some technical issues it will not be coming. So I’m back on the hunt for my first esk8 hub motor cruiser. This truly helped a lot 🔥🔥🔥
This and the website are your one-stop-shop to buy the perfect board. I wish this hobby/transportation would pick up just a little more -- doesn't need to be popular but it's more fun than pickle ball (yes, I'm offending you in particular)
Kind of surprised you guys didn't put the Acedeck Nomad 3 on that AT list. It seems to blow the meepo and exway away in terms of build, specs and support
I'm curious what version of the tynee explorer he's talking about, as since he's reviewed it tynee has upgraded the board with a new 80 amp ESC, and then an even newer ESC with a phone app and now also offers a 50S battery option
I am shopping for my first board and living in Cali the roads are rarely paved. I am looking at the Acedeck boards mostly but have been liking the Backfire and Wowgo series as well. Overall I am looking at either the Stella S3 or the new Nomad N1 (either model but more so the 90A). Have you tried the Nomad? Thank you,
I was a v1 Meepo guy early days. Awesome board. I'd gladly drop 8 bills on next round. Meepo's customer service is top shelf. They kick ass. I will seriously consider the Propel with the off road package. I did have my eyes on the Meepo NLS-3 but the Vader is tickling my balls.
Iv done over 1000 miles on my evolve gtr, loved every second of it. I really like the look of the evolve renegade, more range is my biggest want. Every one hate on evolve so what should I buy instead?
I know a lot about Evolve. They make a great board but the Chinese makers like Meepo cut out the distributor and reduced prices for same technology, just as good, lower priced. But, neither make a direct drive board. Smoother, quieter, easier to change out wheels. You should check out different brands and decide which one you like the best. But the real decision is if you want street for carve or larger wheels so you can ride more side walks, rougher roads, and go further…
@brucebubin9066 chinese boards cut out middle man, so you got nowhere to take it when it's broken. However my evolve gtr has not had 1 problem in 3 years and 1000+ miles, so haven't really needed a dealer lol. Couple of thoughts: * For me the budget longboard options only felt short due to the range being 12 miles or 21 km's which for me. riding with friends. is really way to short. I only had 3 requirements: 30-50 km range. 30km/h speed. belt driven. Which really aren't found in the budget category until the Stella S3. Really nice job on the reviews and the video. I always felt Jeff at Evolve (instead of Boosted) should get credit for being the guy who most inspired others to bring their own ideas for the sport to market. He blew away boosted ride, speed, and ride time. I also knew that the Chinese copies cutting out the distributor would bring prices down and eventually catch up with same quality at lower prices. They did. I ride a FABoard because of the quietness of direct drive and wouldn’t think of riding anything but double king pin trucks. The low profile is nice and I switch out wheels a lot. u should def try the evolve gtr series 2.. rides incredible. lots of awesome features. the best customer service . meepo vader will compare with the Evolve Hadean. think if the meepo had all the evolve features and remote.. it would definitely have a higher price tag.. evolve isnt about specs and pricing. there about eide FEEL and quality. definitely try em out. everyone hates on em until they try it ✅
whilst I'm not personally a fan of Evolve boards, I agree, it would be fair to include Evolve Hadean, Onirique, as many people like the boards, especially when there is local support, somethin which most esk8 brands do not offer. The Stoke & Onirique are good fun and not too bulky and good skate parts, ride feel is a factor to consider
Meepo boards almost killed me, NEVER buy their crap. They are cheap for a reason. I was cruising at 20 mph when my board suddenly went full throttle as if I was on the max setting when I was on speed mode 3 of 4. I barely jumped off at the last second and watched it rocket down the street and slam into a curb at 32 mph completely crippling it.
Very nice list, and it’s quite accurate; i agree with all your choices, though to add the Miles Phantom for a solid😮 1,000 dollar choice. That said i want(need) that Acedeck top spec Nyx 3 quite badly, might have to sell someone’s organs…
Hey man. I just had to go back to comment. Don't ever get yourself an meepo. I've ordered mine in March and I've had only excuses and lies to me that it would be shipped eventually. And it never shipped. I've had to cancel it after 2.5 months. I've even paid extra for fast shipping. Terrible terrible Company. You've been warned!!
2 of my friends got meepo n they said shipping did take longer than they expected, I’d recommend the omw brand, I have the hussar and it works great and got here 3 days after ordering
Wow pretty damn cool love today technology wouldn't even mind learning tricks on a electric Skateboard but even a regular Skateboard alone Is soooo fun & satisfying as fuck
Unfortunately, Acedeck Nomad N3 came out after we already at the editing floor, so we wasn't able to put it in. It would've been in here otherwise! Radium wasn't on our radar before this, thanks for bringing it to our attention. On a brief look, Radium seems to me like a boutique brand making custom builds and their featured build Mach 1 is still in pre-order phase..?
@@ElectricSkateboardHQI’m new to this and overwhelmed with all the options. This video helped but the board I would have picked from your list is discontinued. I want to use it to go to uni 6-7 miles one way with a few hills. Ideally wanna spend less than 1k since the reason I want it is to save on gas cuz my jeep gets terrible mileage. Could you tell me what the best board would be for my use case? Thanks!!!
^ they also let you buy it and then wait till like a month later and then let you know that you can’t buy it, and then you have to go through the refund process, which is annoying
I'd be careful of buying chinese crap, with no after sale parts/support. Not cool that they rip off other designs, either. That's stealing other peoples work.

u should def try the evolve gtr series 2.. rides incredible. lots of awesome features. the best customer service . meepo vader will compare with the Evolve Hadean. think if the meepo had all the evolve features and remote.. it would definitely have a higher price tag.. evolve isnt about specs and pricing. there about eide FEEL and quality. definitely try em out. everyone hates on em until they try it ✅
whilst I'm not personally a fan of Evolve boards, I agree, it would be fair to include Evolve Hadean, Onirique, as many people like the boards, especially when there is local support, somethin which most esk8 brands do not offer.
The Stoke & Onirique are good fun and not too bulky and good skate parts, ride feel is a factor to consider
I'm not sure if I'm ready to cross over to the electric skateboard side. But man, the production and quality of this video is really good.
😂
The Stella S3 is sold out, so I just ordered the Wowgo 3E, which is on sale for $430.
Very nice list, and it’s quite accurate; i agree with all your choices, though to add the Miles Phantom for a solid😮 1,000 dollar choice. That said i want(need) that Acedeck top spec Nyx 3 quite badly, might have to sell someone’s organs…
16:25 you can see a piece fall out of the board as he showing how flexable its it, center left near the battery
I forgot these even existed
Do you know what status it was stuck in? I ordered my meepo XL about a week ago and currently it says the order is ready for processing
The m boards endurance is the best board on the market
Je suis très surpris de ne pas voir Ownboard dans ce comparatif, c'est LA meilleure marque !
Ngl I wouldn’t trust wowgo if you don’t want to be fixing your board 24/7 😅 I’ve had to replace almost everything at least once in like 8 months
Tynee sadly increased the price of the sl board to 400
I wish I could afore it....
Darn, they increased the price of the Tynee Explorer seemingly when this video came out
You have confused zealot v instead of x and duplicated the data specs titles
the s3 would be a great option if acedeck would let it be an option!!!
Wow pretty damn cool love today technology wouldn't even mind learning tricks on a electric Skateboard but even a regular Skateboard alone Is soooo fun & satisfying as fuck
I would not recommend any Evolve boards simply because of their remote controller alone, not to mention that they are over priced for their specs too.
No acedeck nomad? No radium m1? No ruckus
Thanks!!!
The Stella is out of stock and they’re not planning on restocking it ever again apparently
^ they also let you buy it and then wait till like a month later and then let you know that you can’t buy it, and then you have to go through the refund process, which is annoying
acedeck stella s3 100%
You totally forgot about the ace deck nomad n1.
The Acedeck Stella mini also in short decks.
acedeck stella s3 is $650. not $500. $900 cad. theres only a few budget boards in this video
This is crazy. Why couldn't they have made this technology 50 years ago? I can't balance myself on this thing now.
Onewheel has improved my balance in the 6+ years I have ridden them
Backfire zealot x is like double that price
Yea idk where they got that price. I looked at both backfireusa and their international site.
Propel endeavour 2 pro is only $1799 not $2599. USD
92139 Carroll Ports
Where is bioboards?
As so.eone who's used it for over a year now. Get a meepo voyager
The power is there, sure… but that deck is extremely inferior to the v4 and it was rather disappointing and hurting as it tossed me good!
I'd be careful of buying chinese crap, with no after sale parts/support. Not cool that they rip off other designs, either. That's stealing other peoples work.
I can attest to Backfire, they also offer some lare parts, and offer some manufacturing in Australia.
Why isn’t bajaboard on this list?
The zealot x uses dual 1500s not dual 750s. Are you kidding me
