This is Mike from Propel. Thanks for your patience with me as I struggled with my voice. I lost my voice early into esk8con (losing your voice sucks!) and it was difficult to speak. I tried to power through for this interview but some of the words weren’t coming out great and I had to drink water to speak. Thanks for your patience, compassion snd professionalism.
Is the ruckus still planning on releasing 4/20? And how long will shipping be to the west coast? Im trying to decide between the Ruckus and the New Exway Paragon or Acedeck n3 or z3. I really liked the look of the ruckus in this short clip and hope you guys start putting out some more content for it. If you ever have one sitting around that you feel like giving away to someone riding a Frankenstein boosted v2 dual+ with all the electronics removed, 2 different types of bears and 2 different truck hangers (yes I push and also get pulled by my husky :) but I miss the thrill of punching the acceleration on an electric. Anyway if you ever need need a tester I'm your guy ;) as longboarding is my passion and i particularly love to go out and ride all night when the roads and sidewalks are empty and I wear a ridiculous amount of lights so that imo its actually safer than riding during the day. I have been looking for a new board for years now and just haven't been willing and at times able to pull the trigger. I really would like a flexy deck like the loaded vanguard my boosted uses but would prefer a flexible carbon fiber like the velar or the Raldey wasp. Whats the ruckus' deck made out of? Im assuming its pretty flexible given the segmented enclosure...
@@l3rlcWe are still planning to release at the end of the month yes. As with all pre-sales the first units ship via slow boat shipping from Asia and customs is always slow. Reasonable to expect an approximately 60 day turnaround. It will probably be similar for some other recently released boards. It’s only once all of us companies have ramped up production to the extent where it is ahead of demand that we can begin putting units into our various regional distribution centers. Once boards are in regional distribution centers that’s when you start getting into faster turnarounds of 10-15 business days from order to the door. Hope this helps!
@@RiderGuide I filled out your form for media on your website but haven’t yet received any replies. What’s the best way to reach you guys beyond TH-cam?
@acedeckskateboards Anytime! You guys make awesome stuff. Let us know if you want to do a deeper collab. Would love to spend more time with your boards and show our audience. 💪
That was me with Superbeast!! I was so nervous lol!! Thank you for your sick editing skills and making me look good and feel comfy! Loved talking about the boards 👊🏼
I ride a meepo hurricane in Illinois. Put a thousand miles on her and never ran into another eskater.😢 Everyone in town knows me though, I’m the guy in his forties flying around town at 35 miles an hour.😂
Great coverage. Thanks for giving us a peek at some of the up and coming and weird stuff out there. I was really checking out the Propel Ruckus or the X4R.
trampa leads the way as far as off-road crazy robust boards go, everything is interchangeable and customizable whilst just being insane boards all around anyway. also have a really good set of street boards
I really need to go to Esk8 Con, I have two boards now and a hard loyalty to Acedeck because my boards have treated me well and gave me so many good memories already! but i would love to get me feet on some of these so i can know what else is out there!
*Oof,* good coverage ⚡️🤙🏽🤟🏽🤙🏽⚡️ Woulda been cool to see even more of the brands and familiar faces in esk8, but you covered a lot That tiny board dude was so cool, we need more boards like that!
@@mikemenard4543 It looks like a great board! Very interested. What is the top speed? Also, I saw that a color remote was mentioned. What remote will it use? Also, how easy would it be for me to swap the esc?
@@alexanderl4995 It’s our most advanced FOC controller ever. VESC-like settings within the remote itself. Including the ability to control things like: motor type, pole number and transmission ratio. Manual adjustment of the maximum speed, acceleration, and maximum current can be setup for each of the 4 unique speed modes. The color of each of the speed modes can also be customized. The deceleration value can also be adjusted to counteract the deceleration of the mechanical structure so that the ramping is to your own taste. The Sensor/non-sensor mode can be manually or automatically switched and it can be used together with FOC3.0 to automatically switch to the non-inductive mode when the communication of Hall line is abnormal. This helps to prevent abnormal situations such as sudden locking caused by Hall abnormality and improves safety. It’s easily the most advanced FOC controller we’ve been involved with. It’s also stronger in connectivity and has a 30% larger battery than our previous model’s remote.
I don't understand why more companies aren't copying Boosted. Mini boards (actually normal skateboard size) are the best. Easier to carry and don't look ridiculous.
Buncha good boards. If I wasn't carrying it around at all I would choose the Lorrentz. Acedeck is great because I already have an Ares X1 belt drive with about 800 miles on it great board and great company. I like the nomad 3 and would love to have one but I do wish the board flexed a little. I have a Lacroix Nazare and they are the best boards ever from a company that's no longer around IMO. Just put the 7 inch Nova tires on my Lacroix (TY Mboards!) Im a tad disappointed Mboards didn't unveil the endurance 2.0 here but I'm sure it's coming soon. 1450 watt hours in a 35 lb package is what impressed me most about the endurance. I check marketplace and offerup for a used one almost every week but still havent found.
@@ssoffshore5111 They do sales more often than not. Id say there very best prices are around black friday but you can probably come with in 100 dollars of that at other times of the year.
I'm excited about their prototypes. Z1/z3 deck with quick swap battery, and the Z5. Current known specs is the z3 suspension, battery under the deck like the lorentz, and a 16s battery. That thing will likely be scary fast
We did, but it looks like it's not on the footage used on this video. That's when I mention the range will be around 120km+! but we only had the deck and battery enclosure as the board itself is still a work in progress.
I’d love to be wrong but the 2swift seems unsafe! It seems like a e-scooter without handles! I’ve seen a lot of fail videos of people crashing simply by taking off one hand on an e-scooter! Maybe reviews will prove me wrong though! I hope it’s a good product!

You missed the hardcore folks in the third row of vendors - Hoyt, Radium, SKP, and Stooge 😀
Thanks for the feedback! Next time.
@@RiderGuideNo worries man. Esk8con is crazy busy.
Hoyt? Hardcore?
@@18cutleryco Sure. Their boards are built to an extreme level of quality. And the Puck is basically the standard to which everything is compared.

I could see those tiny boards having their own niche for being super nimble for slow-speed sidewalk surfing, and easily transportable and stashable.

What I really want to know is what is Kynd boards using as E-Skate stands?!!! I need that so bad!!

That hot swappable battery by Acedeck looks epic. Ride all day!
💯- let’s see some endurance races that have nascar style battery/wheel pit stops. 😈
I would like a ruckus with more range. Is it to be expected?
Have not tried that one yet!
