I'd put the pegs on the other side of the hardware holes so it's more balanced on the platform

The positioning of the pegs depends on the bike but you are right as you can see in the video that it is unbalance before I tighten it down (it nearly flipped over backwards). The monoshock is up against the edge of the platform so I can't move the pegs any further onto the platform without it sitting on the shock instead of the bike frame. I would have preferred to run the bolts right through the pegs but it just isn't possible. I have enough hours carrying the bike now that I'm totally confident in it.

whats the waight of the bike? i might have missed when you said it ?Do you think the rack would have been better?

That bike weighs about 350#. I think the rack is just about perfect for my application and you can get a spare jack for it anywhere. I still need to try it with my new Roadtrek which has a continental kit on the back but I'm hoping it works as it's way better than towing a trailer.
