hi new plant mom here I want to say thank you for making this simple and clean, you really put a lot of work into your content and your love of plant shows. thanks again
I thoroughly enjoyed your video!!!! Thank you so much for the neat tips!!! And yes, definitely a really cool plant!!!! I am in deeply in love with mines currently!! I enjoyed seeing your joy discussing her!!
My money tree had leaves when i bought it last year. I put it in the house with medium to full sun. The leaves haven't come back is it dead or should i try to fertilize it?
Loved your video. I have one and struggling to maintain her healthy. Leaves are curling and edges are turning brown but new shoots are coming up too. Unable to figure out if its underwatering or over watering.
Hi, sorry to hear that. One way to see if it's over-watering is to gently pull your plant out of its grow pot and feel the base of roots /soil; if it's real wet and has a sour smell, it could be over watering. Hope this helps😀🪴
Thanks for the informative video. I have a money tree that I have had for over 2 years now. Been doing well, but then started losing some big leaves in the middle, turned yellow and eventually fell off. The top and bottom are doing well with new growths. My question is, will the leaves in the middle part of the plant (green stems) generate new leaves at some point, and if so, is there a way to encourage it? Thank you
Hi there, most likely you will not have new growth along those stems. Occasionally the Money will send off new buds along the middle stem, but she will most likely keep adding from top. Hope this helps. 😀🪴
Hi there, yes you can, but make sure they have enough room to grow as planter buddies. If pot is snug, youmay need to get a large pot to put them in. 😀🪴
Hi! A good mix is 2 parts indoor potting mix ( Miracle Gro) 1 part perlite and 1 part worm castings. You can ass a 1/2 teaspoon of mycorrhiza root enhancer ( wee like big foot brand). Hope this helps! 😀🪴
HI there. The sticky droplets are normal, the plant produces this with good light. But be careful to not over do the lighting or your leaves might scorch. Hope this helps. 😀 🪴
Sure, Just dilute it. We recommend a 70% water + 30% hydrogen peroxide mixed together as a spray or flush. (Note- get the hydrogen peroxide you get at CVS, supermarket or walgreens that has 3% h peroxid strength). It's great for preventive fungal issues and even pests! 😀🪴
I just got my plant from my grocery store.. when I got home I checked her she was very dry.. and had little bugs in the bottom.. what could they be and how do I get rid of them?
You may have fungus gnats. You can spray hydrogen peroxide on soil top and sides to kill larva. and you can alos buy yellow sticky paper to trap adults snd break breeding cycle. Reapply process in 1 week to get any new.😀🪴
I recently ordered a Money Tree online and arrived completely dead. This was because the plant stayed in the warehouse due to severe weather. I must cut all the green from the plant leaving only the brown trunk portion of the plant. I repotted the plant and watered it when needed. Do you think the plant has a chance of making a comeback?
Hi there. i'm sorry your plant is suffering so badly. There is a chance that your money tree might bounce back. Look for new growth in a few weeks, but if nothing starts growing, your plant might have not survived. Hope this helps. 😀🪴
The best things in life are free But you can give them to the birds and bees I need money (tree) that’s what I want… Another terrific video! Hopefully with a few changes, I can get mine looking as good as yours!
... your love gives me such a thrill, but your love won't pay my bills... I want money! Dave you are too much, hahahaa, The Flying Lizards.! I actually bought that album back in the 80's. 😀🪴
Also inspect for pests. Some pests feed on the moisture from the leaves and stems that cause wounds. These wounds can then leak and cause leaf fall. Check for things like spider mites or aphids.
Hi you make a good point. It could be that in the marshy areas where money plant grows naturally may have enough oxygen exchange in soil and also soil type/ gaps may allow For healthy root growth without rotting. Not 100%sure, but that would be my estimation. In houseplants. If water in soil sits Over saturated For too long it becomes stale and low oxygen, make root root an unfortunate outcome. Hope this helps 😀🪴

Thank you so much for the kinds words. Cheers! 😀🪴
Thanks for your video it’s very helpful.. I was over watering my money tree and all the leaves fell off, but now she’s thriving, beautiful and strong.
Hi! I am so glad your money tree bounced back! 😀🪴
Thank you this was very helpful
Your'e welcome, I am so glad it was helpful!😀🪴

Usually small pots don't hold much of nutrients, use tropical soil mix

If I have an older money tree and got a smaller money tree can I plant the smaller money tree in the same pot with the bigger money tree?
Hi there, yes you can, but make sure they have enough room to grow as planter buddies. If pot is snug, youmay need to get a large pot to put them in. 😀🪴
What's a good pottery soil for my money plants
Hi! A good mix is 2 parts indoor potting mix ( Miracle Gro) 1 part perlite and 1 part worm castings. You can ass a 1/2 teaspoon of mycorrhiza root enhancer ( wee like big foot brand). Hope this helps! 😀🪴
Do they like smaller potsto be in?
Hi , you can, but I prefer larger pots for assisting in growth. 😀🪴
Are they ever sticky on under side of leaves. Mine is and a friend's is. Is this normal?
HI there. The sticky droplets are normal, the plant produces this with good light. But be careful to not over do the lighting or your leaves might scorch. Hope this helps. 😀 🪴
I spry my with spring water every night ,and it's doing beautiful but I just got my,. can I keeping doing this?thank you so much
Hi, Yes you can, but depending on your plant's location within the home, it's probably better to mist every 3 or 4 days. Hope this helps.😀🪴
Yes, thank you
My tree is in a pot outside and it has grown from about 8 inches to almost 8 feet. Too big to go inside really. Can you plant it outside
Hi there, you can try. It could an be interesting specimen in your garden! 😀🪴
I spry most the leaves
Would you recommend Hydrogen peroxide once in awhile for money plants?
Sure, Just dilute it. We recommend a 70% water + 30% hydrogen peroxide mixed together as a spray or flush. (Note- get the hydrogen peroxide you get at CVS, supermarket or walgreens that has 3% h peroxid strength). It's great for preventive fungal issues and even pests! 😀🪴
If the leaves are turning brown looking burnt, do I cut them off
Yes, you can cut them off.😀🪴

Why are the leaves drooping and the sticky substance dripping from stems
Could be from overwatering, water will drip and leaves will droop. It could also be from too much humidity. Do you keep it outdoors? 😀🪴
Also inspect for pests. Some pests feed on the moisture from the leaves and stems that cause wounds. These wounds can then leak and cause leaf fall. Check for things like spider mites or aphids.
why are the leaves droopy?
Under-watering can cause that sometimes, But it's better to err on under watering than overwatering, cause root rot is very hard to correct.😀🪴
I wish someone would explain to me why a plant that grows in swamps will get root rot in a pot. That doesn’t make sense to me
Hi you make a good point. It could be that in the marshy areas where money plant grows naturally

No problem here, must be a new plant, usually grown in too small pot, lack of nutrients causes yellow, brown leafs.
💚
Thanks!😀🪴
i love it ee fo i get ,very interested
